Planning this trip was easy using Goolets. I initiated contact via the web site and promptly was linked to a representative (Anja) by email, which was my preferred manner of communication. She worked with the owners of the Nevijana, a traditional wooden gulet from Zadar for 7 people max) to give us an early season discount and work with the logistics of planning a round trip from the Trogir / Split area. She came back with a quote that worked with our budget and some ideas for a proposed itinerary. I paid half of the entire fee by credit card and brought US dollars for the balance upon embarking on the boat. (Note: It was a lot of cash to carry overseas, but not really a problem). Pre-trip I selected a half board option and all you can drink for 2 adults and 2 children. I don’t drink much alcohol, but I will say that Croatian wines are great and you only don’t know them because they are not widely exported. It is believed that the Zinfandel varietal was brought to the United States from Croatia by way of Italy and I can say that the Rose style wines are great. Anyhow, half board is good because the ports in the Croatian isles we visited on Brac, Hvar, Vis, and Korcula have great restaurants and you can explore during meal time. We experienced unseasonably bad weather in late May that had us moving the boat at unexpected hours, so sometimes we had lunch in port and travelled at night and meal times were off. We discussed this with our captain beforehand and we (and he) stayed flexible to keep our schedule and safety foremost. Back to the boat, it was just as described cozy and comfortable perfect for 4 of us, very clean, great bathrooms. The food was quite good, we were impressed that our captain could navigate a boat in rough seas, then anchor, and cook us shrimp na buzaro to perfection in the next moment.

Our trip was great (despite rough seas and limited sun the first few days). I would definitely book late May again though as the weather we experienced went against all probability. The water with a proper sunny day would have been ok to swim in (we went in anyway and it was cold on an overcast day). Even without the typical sunshine-soaked trip we expected, we enjoyed ourselves thoroughly, when dry, but overcast, the temperature was actually perfect (low 70’s) and my wife and I ran a few trails in port. Goolets makes the trip quite easy and they arranged transfers to and from the boat for us.

We booked the Prenses Lila for the last week of May 2019. My wife and I along with 5 other couples had an amazing experience that far exceeded expectations. There are several brokerages that can arrange your gulet holiday however I would book again with Goolets.net for the following reasons:

-were able to negotiate the best rates
-excellent communication
-stress free arrangement of transportation to / from airport
-quality assurance (they even inspect the boat before embarkation)
-coordination of pretrip planning including food and beverages
-went above and beyond by arranging tours; luggage stowage; adjusting our plans as we wished throughout the trip

Regarding the Prenses Lila and its excellent crew I can't say enough positive things. I did not expect to be pampered the way we were, and the pictures did not do the boat justice. I will write a separate 5 star review for Prenses Lila!

I booked a sailing vacation on a six cabin luxury ship for Sardinia almost one year in advance. I had a few hiccups along the way, but I give Goolets LTD five stars because in each case where things went wrong, they stepped up to make the situation right. In particular, I want to acknowledge their last minute hard work to find a new ship when our ship's engine broke down right before sailing. They moved our whole party from Sardinia to Croatia and found us an excellent ship, the Andeo. We all enjoyed the ship and its outstanding crew. Things will sometimes go wrong, we all know that. What matters is how people react in these circumstances. Goolets came through for us.

Great trip on beautiful Goolet (Nautulus)

We had an incredible experience in August 2018. Our boat was definitely 5* calibre. From the staff to the food to our accomodation, it was all excellent. Sailing the beautiful islands was amazing & we shall most certainly return soon!!

Brilliant to deal with, they worked hard to make sure we had the gulet and crew and itinerary best suited to our needs. Our trip was the best holiday ever - wonderful experiences with good friends. Would recommend to anyone.

I had all my holidays planned for next summer, but unfortunately I had an illness problem and from Goolets ltd, was very easy to postpone it, I hope until next year!.

We have done 2 goolet trips now and have loved them both. For the most recent trip (Sept 2018), we went on an off-the-beaten-path trip on the Nevijana. We picked this boat because the captain specializes in the Kornati islands and we were not disappointed. He and his sister were the crew and he was also the chef! He grew up in that part of the Dalmatian islands, and was able to give us a true insider's tour including secluded snorkeling spots others were not familiar with, guidance on restaurants and beautiful places to hike. His meals were also wonderful. We asked for a sampling of local Dalmatian fare and he exceeded our expectations. He caught fish while we were snorkeling and served them for lunch, prepared regional dishes, introduced us to local specialties and everything he served was delicious. He clearly has a passion for cooking in addition to a real love of the Kornati islands. We also liked this boat because it was affordable for 2 couples, and that is about the max that would be comfortable in the Nevijana (or 2 couples with a couple of kids). This travel company has been easy to deal with and provided good service both trips. I would recommend them and the Nevijana!

I started off wanting to book a holiday with Goolets Ltd in Turkey last year but our schedules and needs changed a little bit. This year we booked a cruise in Croatia. The transition from one office to the other was extremely smooth, very polite and professional. Simon became our advisor and was extremely helpful in getting all our requirements and making solid recommendations. The whole process was very enjoyable and now we're looking forward with the greatest anticipation to a great holiday. I would highly recommend the Goolets Ltd team if cruising in the Mediterranean is on your holiday bucket list.

One of the best holidays we’ve ever had. Great crew, great boat, awesome places to visit and such good value for money. Can’t wait to get back there and go again!!!
