Terrible Service
Faulty camera, I was subscriber, paid $100 to replace and I sent back camera. Never received a replacement and they won't help. Never again will I buy any GoPros after 10 years as a loyal customer.
Extremely poor customer service
Extremely poor customer service. Go Pro are difficult to contact if any problems and differing information given between chat agents left me hugely disappointed with a replacement order.

I have a Hero 10 black. Only just just over a year old and barely used it. And it won't always switch on. Upgrade batteries failed already. And stick it in your car and it just overheats and shuts down. And to think I stupidly sold all my Drift cameras to buy this piece of useless and expensive plastic and glass. What a fool I was. I will always slate this rubbish product!!!!
I signed up to a 12 months subscription…
I signed up to a 12 months subscription when we initially bought our go pro, as the extra bits we wanted worked our cheapest by doing it this way.
11 months in I cancelled my subscription as I didn't require it anymore, from previous experiences with companies like this I new they would try to take payment anyway.
So I cancelled the card I initially purchased the above with and just as I thought.... THEYVE TRIED 9 TIMES TO TAKE PAYMENT.
Be careful when buying from this company, if you need too remember to cancel card after a purchase
I bought a GoPro hero 2024 back in…
I bought a GoPro hero 2024 back in November 30, since then I’ve never been able to use it, in fact going back and forth with customer support.
I’ve updated the app in my phone (iPhone 15 pro max) and never able to update the camera, had to it manually form my pc, then connective issues and when asking for an exchange after exhausting troubleshooting of this fourth device, they claim if fails agains I won’t be covered for a refund. Bad experience overall.
Bad product, good service
Bought a GoPro Hero 11 for the first time and took it with me to the Maldives. This was my first ever snorkelling experience and my first time going to such a magnificent place.
I did a lot of research beforehand on the GoPro's abilities underwater and how to prevent water damage. I made sure everything was closed and went into the water to film some fishes. During the first video, it seemed to make a lot of 'crackling' noises and I noticed bubbles coming from the GoPro, but I didn't think much of it. I stopped the video and started a new one. It then shut down, the screen went black and there was a red light on the frontside. I panicked and went out of the water to check what happened.
I carefully rinsed the GoPro and dried it. Upon opening the battery compartment, it was completely ruined by water. The battery had this green, yellow-ish mark and it seemed like it had short circuited somehow. I immediately contacted GoPro support in the hopes of getting this fixed.
I received very good support from GoPro.com even though I'm from Europe. It seems like they don't usually replace a GoPro camera when it has been damaged by water, which is extremely strange to me, based on how they advertise the GoPro. However, they decided to send a replacement after I return my broken GoPro back to them. Which I'm very thankful for in the end, because it was a lot of money for me.
I was honestly gutted when this happened to me, because I wasn't able to capture anything else on the entire vacation while seeing everyone having fun with their GoPro's. I'm sure I was just unlucky, but when I looked up the experiences of others, it seems like it happens quite frequently.
I've decided to use an underwater casing (a cheap 3rd party one) with my replacement GoPro and it works like a charm. Had no issues so far. I highly recommend overprotecting this camera, since it's quite fragile when it comes to water.

Stole Money From My Account
Took money out of my account 1 year after I bought my GoPro. I never ever signed up for a subscription, I only bought my GoPro. Absolutely disgusting that they operate like this. Had to submit a claim to get my money back from my bank. A truly awful company.
On top of this, the GoPro itself is over rated. The app is completely useless and so clumsy and unintuitive to use. It’s just not a good product in any way, shape or form. I hope they fold.
Refusing to change defective hero black 11

I have been a GoPro customer for 5 years now. I had a hero black 11 for more than 4 years which I was very happy with - until I lost it during a dive in Cairns. Right after losing it I bought back a new one - the exact same. The new GoPro had trouble powering on at first already - but I neglected this, which is my fault as I should have brought it back then already, but I trusted the brand and did not think there could have been any manufacturing defects). Then the first time I used it for snorkeling at the beach; very shallow, I closed the lid (100% sure as I have been doing the same for 5 years + took extra care since it was my first time using) the screen went black after a few minutes. I had to take it out and discovered when opening the lid (again I very well remember it was closed) that it was leaking.
Hence, if your team cannot recognize that the device was faulty, please know that this will be the last GoPro product me and my family (which are also customers) buy and that we will explain the situation on trust pilot as well.
Moreover, how can I be sure that there is no leak as the investigation is performed by GoPro and not independently? And why should I trust your biased investigation while your are not even trusting a 5 years GoPro customer, who did check thoroughly that their new GoPro was closed when using it for first time.
So my question is, do you decide to loose a happy 5-year loyal customer (and the rest of her family) because of a defective device? Acknowledging that there are more and more competitors towards which I can go to (DJI, Insta360, etc.) and that I won’t hesitate to tell my story about defective products not being reimbursed based on GoPro personal non-independent faulty investigation.
Please remember, I’ve always been happy with my GoPro products, bought some to my family and would continue to do so if you take the right action.

Company seems unable to deliver, we get a new date from UPS every day but no delivery....they should not trade if they cannot deliver.
I’ve been paying for the premium…
I’ve been paying for the premium subscription monthly and never got the premium access for my editing. It’s been a year and I’ve filed a case through customer support and they still haven’t gotten back to me. Called multiple times in their customer service and they still haven’t gotten returned my calls or emails. Very dissatisfied with their customer service.

Terrible experience, have the shitty GoPro 11 Black Mini - after activating the auto-upload subscription my camera randomly died... GoPro unable to assist and have effectively screwed my once in a lifetime trip to the other side of the world

I would give 0 if I could. Impossible to cancel or dispute charges. Customer service non existent. I was auto renewed even though I cancelled over a year ago.
Repeatly trying to take money after subscription cancelled
Had a subscription. It auto-renewed, even though I didn't set it up like that. It tried to take the money from my account, but luckily I was alerted when it was declined for insufficient funds. I went into the app and cancelled my subscription immediately. They have subsequently tried to take money from my account on two more occasions, AFTER I CANCELLED MY SUBSCRIPTION.
There is no customer services email. You have to make a report, which I have done twice now. You end up being in a queue and have someone call you back where they are obviously reading from a script and say twice that you are being recorded for "training and quality purposes". I explained the situation, and they assured me they have cancelled my subscription.
I asked them to send me a confirmation email, but they haven't done that.
Its pretty dire, two weeks before Christmas, and they are repeatedly trying to take money from my account. I don't have the money. Simple. This is massively distressing.
Horrible Quality
Do not buy from this company. There are plenty of other action cameras that are way better. Bought the HERO and Hero13, both advertised to have 4k quality. They're easy to use, but the quality is horrible. It looks like I recorded a video with an old flip phone. It also doesn't reduce noise and soften motion like it says. Horrible camera from a shady brand. The fact that they don't let you leave reviews on their products should've been my sign not to buy from them. Also, their products are disgustingly overpriced and they jack their prices way up (I'm talking by hundreds) around the holidays.

I would give them zero if it’s possible. No customer service at all. Almost impossible to contact. Don’t work on weekends. Chat person “spoke” to me in the most condescending way. Camera supposed to be delivered 6 days in a row and all they can say is “we have to wait until it is returned to issue a refund”. Do not purchase from them at any cost. Go to a retailer or Amazon.
Beyond awful! I can't believe any company operates like this!
Do NOT buy a GoPro if you are in the UK - their support is shocking (Google it on their support forums). I purchased an item, they charged me the wrong amount, would not correct the price OR cancel the order (despite contacting them 2 days before they actually shipped the item). They stated I had to wait for the item to ship and then return it. Now they are refusing to refund me the tax, so I am £82.08 out of pocket. Apparently this is company policy. I am taking legal advice, but save yourself the hassle...
If only zero stars were possible
If only zero stars were possible! Worst customer service, stay away at all costs! Their shipment partner says it delivered my order however it's nowhere to be found even though they have all the instructions and password to our building, delivery picture is a blurry barcode and nothing else. Gopro, as the shipper and owner of product until the customer receives it, doesn't offer any solutions other than "work it out with UPS". Where UPS can't provide any proof of delivery other than "we delivered it". Be careful, you can burn $300 for a product you never received from the shipment company they have a contract with. So it's the customer's responsibility? Thanks for ruining my husband's gift but also good to experience how you care about your customers. Amazing!
Terrible customer support
Terrible customer support, and based on their rating here… they clearly don’t care. Don’t recommend you buy from them direct if you do purchase. They have no phone number or email address. You have to log a request and hope you’re available whenever they call. And then when they do call, that’s a challenge in itself…it took serval phone calls and repeating my query before it was understood and was given their terrible resolution. Completely bad customer service.
I purchased a GoPro surf package and it went on sale by $150 a few days later. I asked if they could refund the difference instead of me returning it (they have 30 return policy) and repurchasing and they refused. I even asked just for a credit voucher and they refused. Said you must repurchase discounted bundle and send original product bundle for a refund. Such a waste of everyone’s time. They then tried to tell me the postage to return would cost about $150 so it’s not worth my time. I questioned why on earth that would be, they eventually agreed it won’t be. I first logged my request on 22 November and by the time I got a resolution 27 November the bundle has sold out so now I can’t do anything. I’ve had this experience with other companies before and they gladly provided a refund of the difference instead of making me repurchase and send back original. I will never buy from GoPro again and regret purchasing in the first place.
