We’ve had an excellent experience working with Morgan at Gorilla Accounting. Coming into this tax year we had some unexpected tax issues and needed much clearer guidance, and Morgan has been absolutely brilliant.

He’s incredibly patient, explains things clearly, and is always responsive when we have questions. What really stands out is how proactive and organised he is — regular reviews, clear systems, and proper forward planning so nothing gets missed or left until the last minute.

I moved from contracting inside to outside IR35 towards the end of last summer, and the unknowns were very daunting. I’d originally chosen an accountancy firm I could never get hold of, so I had to switch quickly. Gorilla and Anne‑Marie in particular have been absolutely brilliant. They answered all my questions, no matter how small or silly they might be and have helped to make the transition incredibly smooth. I’d thoroughly recommend them to any contractors or consultants on the lookout.

They provide really good advice, no question is stupid (I ask a lot of these) and really give great recommendations on the right course of action for yourself and your business.
My accountant Daniel Cottier-Brown is not only a great guy and has managed to understand me from a personal stand point, he understands my needs and what my short term goal is for my business. This is then tailored for the advice he provides, for e.g I have recently purchased a electric car and I didn’t understand any of the intricacy’s but this was explained thoroughly which led to an informed decision.
Any queries are answered within their promised day and I have recommended (referral scheme as well!) around 5 other clients.
I’ve had a great experience from day 1.

Update: Changing, I thought I was with you guys for 5 year but it's actually 8 years, anyone let's give another chance and see what you can do this year. Please note no force if I decide to shutdown the company or I want to leave Gorilla at any time.

I have been with them for almost more than 5 years I think now, price increases several times but services dropped several times too, they use to provide 1 accountant for long time but recently it's like ping pong between accountants, 2) They use to provide employment gap reference without any cost in the past and now it's money. 3) The services are mostly robotic like get things from freeagent and submit but other than that dead emails. 4) With the price they are not value for money, for the same robotic service you can get in a lot less 5) I was surprised how pushy they were at the time of leaving the service, they will try their best to not let you go 6) Simple requests are ignored and you have to use a tone or multiple chase.

I have been using Gorilla Accounting for the last 6 months and haven't been able to find a fault yet. This has been my first outing as a contractor and Gorilla has really helped make the accounting process less stressful. They are always happy to answer any questions I have, there has been many, and offer advise when needed. I recommend Gorilla to anyone starting out as a contractor
