1 Star — Extremely disappointing claims handling and no support

I strongly advise against taking out insurance with Göring in Spain.

Signing up for the policy was easy, but when an actual damage claim occurred, the support was shockingly poor. After reporting a serious property damage claim caused by water entering from a neighboring property, it took six months for an inspector to be sent. After finally arriving, the inspector said he was not responsible and told me to contact the insurance company directly.

From that point on, communication practically stopped. For months, no one could be reached by phone, countless emails went unanswered, and there has been no meaningful response from the company despite repeated attempts to resolve the issue.

The damage occurred 10–11 months ago, and because the problem remains unresolved and water is still entering the property, I have been unable to use my house. The amount of time, stress, and effort this has caused has been enormous.

The lack of response has been so extreme that I have even had to turn to the Spanish authorities and file a formal complaint against the insurer due to inactivity and failure to handle the claim.

I have tried everything — emails, phone calls, reviews, formal complaints — and still no one takes responsibility or responds.

What shocks me most is the contrast: taking out the contract was simple, but when support is actually needed, the company appears unreachable.

Based on my experience, I cannot recommend this company and would strongly warn others to think twice before insuring with them.
