I was looking at a few different providers to change my shipping services to. When I submitted a contact request to Shippo, I made a comment in the notes that I needed to be able to integrate with my eCommerce platform, and to please let me know if that would be possible or not (I included all the information they would need to check if that integration would be possible). When I received the confirmation email, I once again asked them to check if the integration would be possible. Then I got an email from someone that seems to be from the sales team confirming the appointment (although it was not from the person I would be having the meeting with or someone who I would be in contact with in the future, so I'm not sure what their role is or why it is necessary), I again asked them to check if the integration was possible, and to cancel the meeting if it was not. When I finally had the meeting, the representative seemed clueless that this was a concern of mine, and did somewhat promptly confirm that the integration was not possible.
Shippo's actions make it seem like they knew from the beginning that the integration would not be possible, but for some reason thought they could get me to sign up anyway if they could get me into the meeting. However, I really don't appreciate my time being wasted when they knew they did not have the solution I needed and not only did I not sign up with them, I'll now be posting everywhere I can to warn others of their shady practices, trying to deceive people into purchasing their service, knowing full well it will not fit their needs.

We had 12 packages waiting to get to customers and NO support, we were about to lose a lot of business. Had to switch to save the company.

I thought I saved about $100 on a frequent shipment I’ve been making with carriers direct. 2 weeks after my first shipment I got 2 random charges on blank invoices for $90. After trying to deal with customer service they tried to tell me that the exact Amazon box sold and marketed at 14x14x14 was actually bigger and they passed on a zone adjustment and surcharge. They told me that if I bought a new box and filled it up again (2 weeks later ) they would submit a claim. Wtf? Go spend money and fill it up again? What a joke. First and last attempt with them. It’s the exact same cost to go directly to carriers. Total fraud and terrible service.

I’ve used shippo for my small business…
I’ve used shippo for my small business for 6 years. It’s great until there is a problem. I had a damaged package and shippo customer service gave me the run around, not to mention you can’t talk to a live person! Now I am fighting with them because I paid extra for two day shipping, the package was not delivered in two days and they are again denying me any kind of refund.

Always extra charge.
We used it more than 1 year. They are charging always some extra. Our packages maximum is 20kg. But they are charging us extra extra. They say reason package is 100kg. It is impossible. Dpd is not accepting 100kg parcels. I will not use this company any more.

Only ship low value items
While the Shippo experience it self was pleasant and everyone at Shippo was helpful the insurance company they use is horrible.
Xcover is the worst company we ever worked with. Package arrived damaged and they just denied coverage saying it probably wasn't packaged correctly.
It also took almost 2 months of constant requesting more evidence and trying to reach them to get a "denied".

Exceeds my expectations
The ease of using your web portal, variety of shipping options, and flexibility of shipping rates make this a go-to for my small business needs.

Shippo is easy to use, the instructions are clear, and shipper options are displayed with prices from low to high. The shipper options display with price and number of days to delivery.
Undermines Customer Service to the recipient
I am not a seller using Shippo to ship things, but am instead a buying customer who is supposed to be on the receiving end of Shippo services. For the past half year or so, I've noticed that EVERY time a seller uses Shippo to fulfill my order, there are several days-long delays in getting my items. If you are in business -- and *especially* if you are a small business -- who is trying to set yourself apart with great customer service and quick turn-around for deliveries, Shippo often undermines that experience for the end-buyer. I feel bad for the warehouse workers who are pressured to whip out orders within a few hours of them being placed, only to have the shipment delayed for weeks in transit.

Non existent customer support
Non existent customer support. Literally impossible to get a reply. We are a small business who very frequently uses Go Shippo to ship our products to customers. We mailed a package via UPS last month but, unfortunately, the package arrived at the UPS facility completely damaged. Rather than UPS sending photos as proof that all 8 bottles of merchandise were broken, they simply informed us that the box was totally damaged and therefore they discarded the entire package. We submitted an insurance claim to UPS which was approved but, for some reason, our refund check was sent to GoShippo rather than to us. As it’s actually impossible to reach a GS customer service rep via phone, we tried emailing support but have heard nothing back from them. We have also tried calling the number I see posted by GS in response to other complaints I see here on Trust Pilot. Sadly, we reach a message that just tells us we need to communicate via email. We have been left feeling very frustrated by the entire experience and and sadly now seem to out of luck here. GoShippo has our check and there is absolutely no way to reach them!

Absolutely love this website and its ease of use, compared to most other shipping platforms. Things mostly just work and are easy to find and available. Unlike some other shipping platforms, like one that starts with "Ship-" also, that are incredibly difficult to use, expensive, and have terrible support. Not Shippo - their support actually provides helpful resolutions and understand what I say. Shippo helped grow my very small business - for that, I am thankful!

If an Item description is more than 40 characters (like a title on Etsy) cut it off automatically instead of having me go into EVERY. SINGLE. ITEM and make sure it's below the limit.
Need proper integration with WooCommerce as the tracking number doesn't get added automatically, so again I have to add them manually to each order
