I wasn’t too sure about starting a Ltd company and was looking into whether it would work well for photographers - that’s how I came across the GoSolo blog, which convinced me to give it a go. The registration was super quick, and I had my official company set up by the next day. I’m sharing this because GoSolo has become a massive part of my daily work - I use it loads for invoicing and transactions, and it handles everything fantastically.
I was searching for a service that would help me to open a business in the UK from abroad, and luckily I came across GoSolo. I filled out an application, and the next day my company was registered. The onboarding process was very easy and took only around 7 steps (unlike other banking services I have tried, which made the onboarding process feel endless and exhausting).
I have never had an issue with my account, so I never reached out to support and can’t say how good they are. I did, however, have some questions during registration, and they all were resolved along the way, with FAQs and documentation.
Everyone thinking about forming a LTD in the UK should look into GoSolo. I’m glad I did!

Useless! a complete waste of time, hopeless communications, delays. just ignore them and use an alternative.
So they've so long to act the company name requested is no longer available!

Seems like a cheap scam!!! I payed 500 pounds for an international account and they are not sending me an SMS anymore, therefore I can not log in by any means... Sent them an email - no answer.
I will report it to FCA if I do not get immediate support.

They take your payments and then stole your money and block your account without any explanation, they also don’t respond any emails and block me in WhatsApp, so I already report them to the UK court for fraud.

DANGER - avoid this company. Took payment and failed to provide product. Complained and had email saying they'd cancelled. No refund and no notification from Stripe to sat refund en-route. Now escalated to my credit card company for help.
Dreadful company, badly managed, their email address bounces now, so I'm not even sure if the company is still trading. If it is I don't think it will be long before it's not. I notice they have lost their registration with the FCA on 6 September 2024.
AWEFUL COMPANY AND SERIVCE
I have had taken payments using the checkout method on GOSOLO, and all my payments have been withheld for a very long time, it has changed from 1 day to 20 days!!. i keep emailing them and i am being ignored. i am even contacting them over their WhatsApp and even the direct owners WhatsApp since i have managed to get his number from my own investigation. This is affecting my business because i am unable to take payments and i had to refuse customers services as i was unable to charge them. I am now issuing this company 24 more hours to respond to my email. If this is not actioned I will visiting the office and taking the case to court
Slow verification process
I began nearly a month ago and despite my chaser emails and WhatsApp messages, I have been ignored :(
I sent money from my personal account and I can't use it, the card is blocked and no one is answering to refund my money, they never answer, they just send the email and wait a long time, they should be removed from the market.
