While we don't verify specific claims because reviewers' opinions are their own, we may label reviews as "Verified" when we can confirm a business interaction took place. Read more

Mr David Murphy of Gpod Ltd

Mr David Murphy of Gpod Ltd
arrived on site and took it upon himself to totally change the Design to suit himself.
"it's better this way"was his comment, once we explained the contract we had was based upon a design and price.
Cutting a long story short, what was to be 7 days work on site became a 7week marathon, while he redesigned what he had built to hash into what we had ordered.
the doors need attention. Mr David Murphy will not reply to either letter, text or Email

We were only the 2nd or 3rd GPod to be…

We were only the 2nd or 3rd GPod to be built for clients and we were an 1.5hrs drive from the company. It was clear we were a guinea pig and the whole job was rushed, which was such a shame because we were really taken with the care and quality that was in place before the build started. Our pod was built with wet internal timbers, the windows were made to fit with extra putty, the ladder is scratched and damaged, the osmocoat was put on when it was too cold so it did not dry. As a consequence we have sawdust stuck to the outside walls. We have capillary action on the flat roof with the gutter so water pours down the window as the pitch is not right. We had extra wall insulation as we were told that Mark and Pat could not lift 150mm SIPS for the walls but then told no extra insulation was needed for the floor and roof as they used 150mm SIPPS on those. Looking at the reviews on their site, so pleased that others have the care and attention that we were expecting- just make sure you put every single detail in writing and check daily. A steep learning curve for all.
