Look cheap, low quality

Recieved my print, I got 6 of the 12 x 8 design your own map prints.
Quality is bad, the work is a bit blur and pixelated. The side of paper is not a clean cut, it looks like it cut off from an old paper cutter with dark marks left on. For a print that is $32 each, it just looks like a print I can assemble myself.

Extremely Flawed User Experience, but the company blames the buyer...

I wanted to write about my problems with Grafomap so that I can affect positive change in the user's experience. Until this problem persists, I don't recommend this company's service.

Around Black Friday, I discovered this company when shopping for my parents' Christmas gifts. Needless to say, time is of the essence.

The address I wanted to use for my mother's personalized city map was Japanese. I went in the editor, customized my features, which included the Japanese characters in map's title. When my product was ready to be added to cart, the Japanese characters appeared correctly.

However, my final product was a disaster, with the Japanese address replaced with "[][][][][][]". While I got a refund, the representative informed me that the print sent to the machine included "[][][][][]."

So that's the first problem - why would anyone think a customer would desire an address purely comprised of "[][][][][][][]"? There was no quality-control when the print came out, no red flags raised, nor communication to double-check that is what the customer wants.

I tried again, knowing that I would not make it in time for Christmas. I placed another order this time, triple-checking the editor where you customize the map that the characters came out correctly.

From there, I realized that the actual image produced in the "Cart" screen is a smaller and intentionally pixelated image, so you can't actually confirm what you made in the editor.

So ultimately, this is not caveat emptor (buy's fault).
There is simply no step in the process to verify what you want is what you created - and if there happens to be a mess-up, you won't know until you get the final result.

The only thing that saves this review from a 0 star is that I was successfully refunded both times. However, I will never purchase anything from this company given their EXTREMELY POOR USER EXPERIENCE.

This company should not blame the user for "bad input" when instead there are flaws in the system and process that result in poor-quality prints.

Awful quality. To embarrassing to put up

Awful quality print. Awful quality frame. To embarrassing to put up. The only use I can see is to let my 3 year old color it in with crayons.

Poor communication - good service

I had an issue with my order - was told numerous times that I needed to destroy the prints and send a picture before a refund would be issued. I questioned the process, but was assured I would receive a 100%
refund.
When I sent the photos and asked about the refund, I never heard back from Grafomap - I was increasingly concerned that I was out $300... But my money WAS refunded within 5 days, and I still haven't heard from them...
Ultimately, Grafomap did the right thing. They have some communication issues to work on, but they seem to stand behind their product.

Poor Quality

I was disappointed in the quality. The map isn't matted nicely and doesn't sit flat in the frame. It looks like I framed it myself, it doesn't look professional.

Grafomap did not deliver - no product, no service

Back in June, I ordered a map as a gift for a friend. I received an email saying that I'd receive tracking information once it had shipped. Ten days went by and nothing. I checked with my friend and he said he hadn't gotten anything. I emailed customer service, they apologized and said they'd ship it right away and to look for a tracking number. Again, nothing.

Months more went by as I assumed all was good and it was on its way. In November, I saw a facebook ad for grafomap and wondered whether my order at actually been received. I checked with my friend again. Nope.

I emailed the company AGAIN, they said they'd ship it, and then finally said the size was no longer available. I asked if they could send a different size and that I was very flexible - I'd already spent so much time on this order, I didn't want to go to waste and I still wanted to send my friend this special gift. NOPE. Just a refund. Like they just wanted to wash their hands of the whole thing rather than try to make it right.

It took six months for me to be left with *nothing*.

I'm seriously disappointed. I loved the idea of this and was thinking maps might be a useful go-to for future gifts for friends who move away. I guess not.

It's also pretty frustrating. It should not be up to the customer to put in all the work to confirm that a company did what it said what it's going to do. If they couldn't fill the order, that's fine, stuff happens. But it is, at the very least, their responsibility to let the customer know and offer them options. I guess I'll have to see if there are other companies that offer a similar product.

Destroyed Product, No Refund

Order the largest map with the frame as a birthday gift for my partner. The map came so poorly packaged that every single corner busted. They shipped it in plastic stretch wrap with no styrofoam, bubble, or any protection. When I opened it, it was already in 4 individual pieces and unfixable. I emailed them with pictures asking for a refund and they agreed, but only under one condition. Since the product was past fixing, they didn’t want to spend the money for me to ship it back.. They told me to DESTROY the remainder of the product (the actual map) by cutting it into pieces and then sending the photo evidence back. This was the most absurd thing I’ve ever had to do to get a refund and just made me more mad. After cutting it to pieces and sending the photograph back, they stopped responding and never refunded me. I emailed them 3 times after that and heard nothing. Had to go through my bank to get a refund. Completely unethical practice being run here. I would NOT recommend this company to anyone. There are plenty of other sites who offer the same services that you’d be better off with.

AWFUL Customer Service

I ordered a map as an anniversary gift for my wife and it took less than week from the day I placed the order to the date it was received by my wife. No issues with quality or shipping time BUT... I had a sneaking suspicion that I entered the wrong shipping address and a typo in the custom text. I informed the company in what appears the only way to contact them, their info@ email... They responded RIGHT AWAY to confirm the correct shipping address but completely ignored my other 2 inquires, one being the possible typo. I emailed them every day afterwards with no response... such an easy mistake to avoid but due to their lack or response, my wife received a wrong anniversary date on her gift on our special day. Extremely upset. PLEASE make sure you place your order correctly because after it's placed there is no way to see the example of your map to confirm any details, there is just a small thumbnail that is impossible to see any text.

Not as good as I remember

The overall quality of the print is not what I previously encountered. Also, the print was not trimmed correctly, so I had to trim it myself to correct the issue.

Nice map and good customer service

Ordered a map and frame, when it came the frame was damaged. Grafomap contacted me after bringing it to attention and they sent me a new one free of charge and was in better condition. Thanks for the quick response.

Ordered a map for my partner’s birthday…

Ordered a map for my partner’s birthday expecting to be delivered within 15 days. The website did not give me the option for express service despite the option being advertised.
Received a shipping confirmation but no tracking number. I have emailed for updates, but each time i get sent a new shipping confirmation. I ordered on the 09/02/2022 and have since received 4 new shipping confirmations.
No one in the company seems to be reachable or has a clue on whats going on
