This service was a complete waste of…

This service was a complete waste of time and money, and I strongly caution against using them.

The core failure was delivery: We engaged this provider specifically to secure grants for postsecondary education for a high school student. Despite the significant financial commitment on our end, they completely failed to deliver any measurable result.

The worst issue, however, was the profound lack of accountability. When challenged on the broken promises and inability to secure grants, the internal staff immediately resorted to blaming each other for miscommunication and lack of follow-through. This demonstrated a catastrophic breakdown in internal systems and responsibility.

If you have discretionary funds intended for your child's future, please invest it directly in your child's education or savings plan instead of risking it here. This provider took the investment without delivering the essential service, making the experience extremely costly and disappointing.

GrantMe was not clear with many of the…

GrantMe was not clear with many of the requirements. All of the applications for scholarships are essay based. There are lots of scholarships to apply for, however, many not available to apply for, so limited. I have heard from others who never received any scholarships from the many applications and met all GrantMe requirements. Also if you receive any grants from OSAP or the university that gets taken off the amount paid to GrantMe, so you essentially never get your money back if you don't qualify for any scholarships through the GrantMe program. Don't waste your time and money. Apply for your local bursaries and grants you'll have a better chance.

Scam company w/ no help for students

Promising young students a chance to win $9,000 their first year (said to me during onboarding interview is average for clients), when 4 years since purchasing I have not won a single penny in scholarship money despite many applications sent and many workshops and one-on-ones is terrible of this company to do and a tell of their "passion" for helping students. Changing policies during for purchasers without notice (ex. was told I'd get 1-on-1 help for 4 years before I purchased, then in 3rd year was told was only for 1st year) is a telltale sign of an organization with ulterior motives. Please avoid!

Misleading and useless

Misleading and useless.

So much money put it into that did not come back in scholarship money as promised. The amount of scholarships I applied to through their portal over the last 5 years has been a complete waste of time, "guaranteed return" is 100% a lie. The matches do not suffice to what you can apply for and their 1:1 mentor talks are not helpful in the slightest. DO NOT waste your time and money with this website as much as it sounds useful it is not, find your own scholarships and apply to what you can get not these!

Disorganized and misleading.

We were told that we would be guaranteed to get a scholarship if we followed the program ans applied to at least 25 scholarshipa.. After countless applications, my son has receiced 0. Not only that he missed several deadlines of major scholarships, due to lack of organization on the part of Grant me. My son didnt need help getting into the school of hia choice. When i was sold on the program they aaid the investment has a good return of income. I would have never parted with my hard earned saved money which was 4200! Wow that could have paid for his food plan at Waterloo.

This company is a scam

This company is a scam. The reviews are obviously fake! They do not do anything. The promise refunds and do not follow through! Please do not trust them! They are a huge scam! They will not respond to you after they take your money. We did everything ourselves….they did not help one bit. Check Reddit for the real reviews. Other reviews are fake. It is a terrible terrible company! They should be sued.

Misleading Claims, No Results – Very Disappointed!

I paid nearly $4,000 for GrantMe because they heavily marketed themselves as a service that helps students win scholarships. They constantly pushed the idea that students who used their tools and guidance were securing thousands of dollars in awards, and that was their main selling point. I trusted that and followed their system, applied to over 40 scholarships, used all their feedback tools, and took their writing advice seriously. In the end, I didn’t get a single cent back. Not one scholarship.

What makes it worse is that their university consultation support was just as disappointing. It felt generic, rushed, and honestly not very helpful. For the amount of money I spent, I expected way more than vague suggestions and copy-paste advice.

I feel misled and incredibly frustrated. GrantMe made big promises and failed to deliver. If you’re thinking of signing up, I’d seriously reconsider because this was not worth the money or the stress.

Immediate thoughts

At the time of writing, I've only had a single meeting, so it's difficult to accurately judge the program. However, said meeting went well. It was a friendly environment, sufficiently informative, and from what I can tell, the student website provides a rich collection of resources. I'm excited to continue working with GrantMe and see just how beneficial it may be.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!! ITS AN UNNECESSARY SCAM

First of all, they sell your information. I got an inbox full of emails from Liberty university and other private (for profit) universities that I have NEVER signed up for or even heard of. And the worst part is that it clogs up your inbox (many of these emails dont go into spam). I have never signed up for "long island university" but it says that I am subscribed to them. So they sell your information too, to private (money hungry) universities.

I have gotten into ALL of my top schools WITHOUT THIS COMPANY, who tries to pressure and make things seem suuuper hard and like ur missing out on so much without them.

Like for example, they will always try to talk down on you and tell you that your accomplishments, extracurriculars etc are NOT ENOUGH, BUT THATS NOT TRUE.

They are also very NOT TRANSPARENT about how university applications are like. For example, they want to make you pay for an essay editing service, and have this whole "roadmap" of college application essays to write.

BUT THATS NOT NECESSARY!! for example, UofT DOES NOT reveal essay questions beforehand. And so you CANNOT just write an essay before and submit it. You must do it LIVE.

Now let's say ur applying to another Canadian school like UBC (which i also got into). Once you start your applications, you can see the essay questions. Just ask an english teacher to help edit and review your essay. No need to pay for overpriced essay editing services or stressing yourself out with their schedule of essay writing.

The academic advisor at the company kept telling me that my extracurriculars were not enough and talked abt how "ohh you should've started that club in GR 9" and they even have this "prestige" list of best extracurriculars, with being a participant on the lowest end of the scale, which is not true. This is something the COMPANY ITSELF MADE UP!!! Universities don't care! heck, I've heard of ppl with no extracurriculars getting into good universities bc they had a great essay abt working at McDonald's and the impact they made on ppl and the community.

Another thing is, if you have great grades, they'll try to talk you down. "oh, good grades aren't enough these days!!" Dude, you'll be fine, stop stressing and DONT PAY 4000-5000$ for this service! ITS NOT WORTH IT. and if you have good grades and even a couple of MEANINGFUL extracurriculars, you're basically guaranteed to get into a good Canadian school. I come from a well off family so I didnt apply for any scholarships, but still got a 10k entrance scholarship to UofT bc of grades. No need to pay for Grantme or listen to them condescend you abt how you must funnel more money into their service. And im lazy and didnt apply for any other scholarships, but there are plenty of free resources like scholarshipscanada that are even more indepth and better maintained.

Heres the thing: This company has many good reviews bc the ppl paying for them are most likely already smart and accomplished. (I mean, who else except clueless, rich parents can shell out 4k for this useless crap?) These students don't need this service and still could've gotten in.

But bc they paid for it and got a bunch of unecessary services, it seems like it's Grantme that got them in.

It's not. Save your money.

GrantMe is a scam

GrantMe is a scam. Don't waste your money. Unfortunately We learned the lesson the hard way. Their sales presentation is slick! But once you pay, the service they deliver is not on par with the cost. There's no follow through, they don't take into consideration your personal situation or goals. They essentially provide you a list of potential scholarships that you can apply for, that's it. All of this can be found on your own with about 5 minutes of google searching.

What's worse is that their support after you've signed up is non existant. Have a question/concern that you want addressed? Good luck... no one will reply or get back to you.

Save your money, and don't fall for their slick presentations and false advertising!

Not a great experience

I have been using the GrantMe service for almost few months now, the team was good in the initial few days but after that they take lot of time in responding with what needs to be done for the scholarships and there is no proper guidance.

I missed 2 of the scholarship since I was waiting on my coach to reply with the correction. Unfortunately the money that I had saved for my tution fees was all given to GrantMe to help me get scholarship and now I am left with a service which is of no use to me
