Far Below Expectation for a Premium Brand

Booked my free first service (included with purchase) after being referred by Eastern BMW Edinburgh to Grassicks for convenience. On arrival, after waiting an hour, I was told they couldn’t “confirm” why the service was free and repeatedly questioned it.
Despite Eastern BMW eventually apologising and confirming the situation, Grassicks then suggested I pay and claim a refund — completely unacceptable. I made it clear I wasn’t paying for something already included.
The service was supposedly completed, but when my keys were returned no one explained what work had been done — the first time I’ve ever left a dealership without any service feedback.
Poor communication, no ownership of the issue, and disgraceful customer service. Very disappointing experience.

Won’t provide test drives for company car drivers

Went to Grassicks Mini for a test drive. All was fine until I was open with them that my purchase would be through a salary sacrifice scheme. Once they knew that they weren’t interested in helping with a further test drive. Appreciate that they wouldn’t get the sale (company car scheme decides where the vehicle is sourced from) however a franchise dealer is supposed to showcase the brand’s car and support customer’s with the choice.

Once I have the car I have the choice of where it’s serviced but that won’t be at Grassicks given their lack of help.

Extremely poor service!

Unfortunately there is no option for zero stars
Car serviced at a cost of £700
Now my car is Sputtering, dipping and poor performance.
Grassicks wont even look at my car for another 8 days, but they were quick to take my money though
Shocking service!
I will be returning to John Clark going forward

Question: When is a NEW BMW not NEW ?

Question: When is a New BMW not a New BMW ?

Answer: When you buy one from stock at Grassicks BMW, The Triangle Perth. “NEW” in the Grassicks Sales manual only means “NOT previously registered”
In October 2020, I was looking to buy a New X4, M40d and found a car advertised in the BMW New Car Locator website for sale at Grassicks BMW Perth. We reached an agreement and I collected the car on 6/11/2020. Within days I realised that the car did not meet my expectation. Grassicks salesman reassured me that it was a software issue and easily fixed. Meanwhile I discovered that my car was eight months old with a build date of March 2020. I had missed out on at least two significant software and hardware upgrades including Mild Hybrid Technology which became standard in June 2020.

When I spoke to the Sales Manager I was told that his staff were neither required nor expected to be familiar with the specifications or ages of any cars in the showroom. Even if they were aware, they would not volunteer the information unless the customer specifically asked. Quote from Sales Manager “We are here to SELL cars !!”

The Grassicks BMW sales Ethic is clear:
YOU GOT
WHAT YOU BOUGHT,
NOT WHAT YOU THOUGHT !!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED !!
