Needed passion flower plants for arches in my new garden. Grasslands had some nice looking plants for a very reasonable price, and I ordered two. Delivery came in very good time, and the plants were perfectly packaged - still damp at the roots despite the distance. I've transplanted them, which means pretty much having to relax and wait for them to take, but all indications are good and I'm eagerly awaiting the end of spring, when they ought to begin their growth spurt. Very pleased with the purchase and glad to have bought from a family business. They offer excellent advice from a very informative site. The quality of support on offer is priceless - especially to a newbie like me.

Ordered a large Choisya Ternata Sundance shrub (10 litre size) and the plant that came looked lovely and very healthy. It was very well packed too.

I received a message from Royal Mail saying they couldn’t send my plants because the address was wrong. I used Grasslands website and paid by Apple Pay which has my correct shipping address but their customer services are trying to tell me I’ve given them the wrong address. The address they had wasn’t even a complete one and it looks like the mobile prefix 44 field had overwritten the first line of my address. They are now saying I have to pay again for postage! And on top of that when I first queried where my order was they sent me a random photo of some trees outside a house which wasn’t mine. I didn’t even order trees! They then sent a phone message saying I should call Royal Mail and sort it out myself! If it wasn’t such shocking customer service it would almost be laughable.

Good service and the plants were well packaged with no damage.

Good value plants arrived in good condition. Planted now and waiting for them to grow to maturity. Arrived quickly.

good quality - timely delivery

We visited the nursery in person as we wanted to choose our plants, especially as they were statement plants (bonsai topiary and dwarf conifers). They have such a huge choice, all fantastic quality plants.
The staff are really helpful and very organised (good system for tagging the plants we wanted). If they dont have a plant in the nursery they can check if its available via their online system (as was the case with our glauca). The guys were knowledgeable about what would work in our garden in respect of size of plant and our aspect/soil type.
We paid and were told they would deliver for free within 5-10 working days however the plants came 4 days later via their own tracked delivery team.
We've used Grasslands many times and have recommended to friends. If you want quality plants without being ripped off there is only one place to visit.

I placed an order for Eleagnus Ebbingei and when it arrived it was very well packaged and is a very healthy plant.

Plant arrived in great sturdy condition. I had been searching for this online with very few sites offering tree/shrub. Looks healthy, pleased with purchase. Fast dispatch and delivery and good tracking service.

I placed an order for a fair number of one litre plants recently. They were very badly packaged ( put in a very large box with no packing material in it at all). They of course arrived damaged having been tumbled around in transit. I sent in several photos of the state of the plants and noted the missing ones. Rude and unhelpful customer services agent kept asking for photos to prove the damage even though they already had them. Was then told although badly damaged the plants would still likely grow .. so basically my problem that they sent plants very badly packaged and damaged. One to avoid for the future. A shame as they used to be good

I ordered a Thuja Emerald Root Ball 160/180cm conifer. It arrived as ordered in excellent condition and delivered on a small pallet securely fixed not squashed or boxed. Grasslands communications was good throughout the process. I will use them again.

Staff very helpful with my questions prior to me placing an order. The order was then delivered on time and when they said it would be. Delivery driver very helpful. Plants exactly as described.

Ordered two pallets of laurel plants which had to be dug from the field to order. The communication was excellent throughout and the plants when delivered where really healthy.

I ordered hedging plants from Grasslands which have arrived and are fantastic, very good size, very healthy, good root ball, extremely happy with them. They also arrived quickly, a few days after I placed the order. The delivery however was a bit odd, in order to access tracking I had to download and subscribe to a ‘shop’ app (I didn’t want to) but then the app showed no tracking details at all and when I called grasslands they couldn’t give me information either. In the end I received an email 30 minutes before the delivery arrived saying it would be delivered that afternoon. Luckily I was at my desk at home so got the email and could take and unpack the delivery. If I hadn’t been at home this would have been extremely awkward, it’s a palette delivery left on the pavement and I live in central London on quite a busy road. So luckily it was ok but the delivery could have been very problematic especially as I had no idea on what day and time it may arrive.

Helpful website. Frequent updates on delivery progress. also lots of bonus information on planting and tips for growing better. I must admit I have not actually seen the tree since delivery but I know it has been safely delivered.

I purchased bushes approximately one year ago the bushes were delivered the were just a bunch of sticks and not Grown yet the delivery the service was vey slip shod didn’t really care whether they delivered or not ……. Was a total disaster I would never purchase of this company again ……
