I booked with a friend our trip to Greece. We had a great time. We paid the upgrade for the hotels and was totally worthy.

Greca's operations and customer service, particularly in Athens, leave a lot to be desired and in need of massive improvement. We booked a tour of the Greek Islands, Athens, Mykonos and Santorini through Greca from September 1 through 14. Our booking contract called for a transfer from the airport to the hotel. No Greca representative met us at the Athens Airport when we arrived. After numerous and frantic calls to the contact number provided, they finally sent a taxi to pick us up. I would say that the transfers from the hotel in Athens, Mykonos and Santorini to the ferry ports went without a hitch. However, when we arrived from Santorini to Athens on the last leg of our trip, no representative met us at the Port of Piraeus, so we ended up taking a taxi to our hotel. I have written to Victor, a Greca representative to be reimbursed for my taxi expenses and so far the response has been negative. Any person looking to book a future tour with this company better think twice before proceeding.

The tour guides and the tours were exceptional until we returned back to Cairo from Aswan. That's when Greca partner Dunas got involved. They wouldn't take us to our already booked room because of the timing and they wouldn't refund our money for the room that they wouldn't take us too. Then they sprung the tipping isn't part of your initial payment process on us after we had been tipping all manner of people throughout our travel. It appeared to be discretionary in the sign up then it became obligatory in Cairo. Just ended up trying to get a credit for the room which never happened and paying the tipping figure of $100 after already having tipped roughly 150$. It left a bad taste at the end of what otherwise would have been a delightful experience.

I contacted them for my dreamed Italy trip. Was a bit stressed before travelling when I saw the reviews here, but wanted to left my review as my experience was totally different than what I read. They have a great customer service. I had a lot of questions about my itinerary, hotels, tours included, and the team was always there to respond. Once in Italy everything was perfect as planned. I totally will plan my next trip with Greca!

I had a fantastic experience with Greca. Their website was user-friendly and made booking my trip a breeze. The interface was intuitive, and I was able to easily compare different options for accommodations.
What stood out was their customer service – I had a few questions about my itinerary, and their support team was quick to respond and very helpful.

Just came back from a tour to Athens, Mykonos, and Santorini
Their choice of the hotels are very disappointing. What it seems 4 stars in reality is 2 stars. Their customer service is really bad they do not solve any problems they just argue with you to approve they are right. They speak English but they were not communicating they do not want to listen to you. Few times they say that someone will call me back but they never did. In summary they are wholesales people and it is not about you at all it is about how much money they are making. Think twice before you purchase from them. They do not consider the efforts that you are making to come a long way or what you go through to get to the distinction. At one incident the driver drop at one point and he told me to wait for the tour guy and I waited a long time but seen nobody. They are not organized

Pro: having a local contact on every island to assist us
Cons:
-didn’t confirm I received updated itinerary and we missed a tour because of it
-put us in a hotel on a steep hill with 2 people aged 65+ and refused to assist with this. Told us “you had 21 days to review your hotels and update” well we couldn’t see the hill of the street the place was on in photos. Told us if we wanted to go elsewhere they would help us look but we’d have to pay.
- forgot to pick us up or cancelled our tour and after an hour and a half on the phone got picked up in a car and brought to a bus for a completely different tour than we selected.
- did not schedule us a transfer to our hotel at the end of our trip from ferry even though this was included the rest of the trip.
EDITED AFTER GRECA REPLY:
-you flagged my review as an inaccurate depiction of what happened, however did you experience my trip? no. I would hope no one at that company would experience a trip like this. Everyone reading, please see my notes following each point with ***
-While you didn't confirm receipt of the itinerary, there were no significant changes either; only confirmations of pick-up times and pick-up points were unavailable at the time of booking. ****This is a lie. A tour time was changed and we were never informed. It also took a few phone calls and lots of time to even call in and figure out what had happened. This was in Athens, the one free tour included.
-As for the hotels, the location always depends on availability at the time of booking. It should be noted that both Mykonos and Santorini are mountainous islands and have steep slopes. However, on our website, we have a "special requests" section where our passengers can inform us about reduced mobility, dietary restrictions, etc. We have reviewed all the correspondence exchanged with you, and we didn't find any mail where you mentioned the inconveniences in your review. We wish we had known in advance in order to improve your experience. ***You were provided with passport information, which includes DOB as part of the booking process. This was a complete oversight on your part and your customer service reps were completely non-understanding nor empathetic when we called in. This really put a damper on our time in Mykonos. As I mentioned, from pictures online we couldn't tell the hotel was sitting up on a steep hill.
You also ignored my final two points in my review, and didn't offer any reasonable explanations to what I experienced.
People looking to book a Greece vacation - do NOT book with these people.

This is the last time to use this website again in making any reservations because of the poor quality of customer service and poor hotel accommodation . 3 couples from America and Australia trying to get together in one trip to have good time together, they made a mistake to put us in different hotels and when I called to fix the problem, they do not help and they don’t understand what is customer service is ?
