It all started when I was handed a…

It all started when I was handed a small bag sample as I walked by a kiosk at the Ross Park Mall in PA. the sales associate was very talkative and put their under eye cream on and yes - it was tight and seemed great. I thanked them and tried to get out but he was offering obscene deals on what he was pushing. I was able to get away with dropping 150 on the eye serum… but wait! The sales associate walked me down to the spa - claimed that spa had been there for 10 years and sat me down to talk to someone further about procedures they offer. This is when I got pissed. After talking to yet another sales representative, he started pushing the same peeling mask the other sales associate was pushing. I said I bought enough today and said if I bought the peel for 100 I would get a free facial with him. After being pressured into 250 worth of products I can’t return and judging the crap out of a “spa” in a mall. Stay far away from these places. I’m lucky I didn’t get scammed more than hopefully someone will buy the peel mask on Mercari!

Also, both sales associates were from San Diego…. I thought that information was odd. I asked about how they liked living here and that’s when they said “oh, I’m from San Diego”. So…. Is this a traveling thing? Very suss.

DANGEROUS!!!

DANGEROUS!!!! SCAMMERS. Please care about your body and DO NOT shop there. I don't know what is in their products that causes crazy reaction on your skin. They pushed my mother to buy an eye cream for $424 and she used it for just 2 times and right now, some spots are appeared under her eye.

This play doesn’t have real estheticians working and should not be allowed to be performing facials. It’s highway robbery. This was not relaxing at all. As a beauty professional I expect to go into a spa environment to seek beauty treatments and relaxation. From the beginning the scam artist began with wow I can’t believe you got in with the top specialist he is very sought after and usually had a 6-7 month waiting period, I dont know how you were able to get an appointment with him this quick! Lie #1 to get you to feel special. Again as a beauty pro I expected a top rated beauty practitioner to look experienced. Not to say young people can’t be top experienced but I did question it when a very young guy comes in as the top doctor, I mean where did you study. He didn’t give me his credentials btw. From the front of the spa located in the mall, storefront looks clean and zen but when they lead you to where you will be getting a top rated facial they lead to the back storage that no longer look luxurious but like a back storage room, nothing fancy or worth thinking any longer that you are at a top rated spa for a facial. You are literally in the back of the storage room. The young man does talk about the procedure and if you have questions. But if you don’t know because you are innocently coming thinking you are getting a facial, you don’t realize this is basic explaining you could read from a brochure. I went to beauty school and paid for my education, you have to come alittle stronger with your knowledge. I mean I did come here thinking I was going to learn something new about beauty care. After some small talk usually during a facial it’s not necessary to talk to the client if yiu notice they are their for a service and not small talk and provide a relaxing atmosphere. Errr wrong this young man pushed the LED technology that was going to work miracles and never have to use again after 6 months of using it and for an affordable price $12k wait let me give you all the zeros $12,000 I could buy a car, or a real investment for that kind of money. And he pushed, “let me go call the owner see what I can do, I really want to help you improve your beauty are” I wasn’t going in there thinking I was gonna be getting jacked for thousands of dollars, I was thinking I was going in there for a facial. Long story short this guy and the rest of his co-workers are out to swindle innocent people out of thousands of dolllars. People do not fall for this place Green Biotics location in the Woodfield mall in Schaumburg IL not relaxing at all, not one bit luxurious and pushy pushy money grabbers trying to pick your pockets for thousands of $!$

I was walking thru the Mall

I was walking thru the Mall, and was approached by a very good looking young man, and he asked if he could try a product on my skin. He used a gel and some of the brown age spots came off, then he used an under eye cream that tightened up the bags. Of course they took me to the salon, talked me into $500.00 worth of product. That was the beginning, I was offered a free facial, and didn't want to look cheap, so the tip was $40.00. Right after the facial, Sam came in was trying to talk me into a light gadget, I believe that was $5000.00. The the manager came in, another good looking young man, and out the door I went $1000.00 poorer. I came home and called immediately, but of course it was too late, my card had already gone thru. There should have been no reason those products couldn't have been returned. I know, poor me, look I'm 82, consider myself pretty sharp not to get scammed, but here I sit with $1500.00 worth a product that takes too much time to use. I never did use the $1000.00 bag of creams, all unused in my closet, with a reminder when I look at it, to use the brains I was born with.

Charged my credit card without my consent

The salesman in Nassau was extremely smooth and kind to talk to. He convinced me to buy an expensive cream but after that I wasn’t going to buy a $2000 led light tool because it was too expensive for me. However, before I realized it, he had charged the amount from my credit card again and I was too flabbergasted to understand exactly what was happening and signed a few documents as well. When I left the store, I felt like I had been hypnotised and had to sit down to rethink what had happened.

No customer service!

I agreed to a course of several treatments and paid for them. After the first treatment I was told they were closing for 2 months. That was 9 months ago. I’ve tried to get my money back. Horrible customer service No one returns phone calls it’s time for small claims court.

My name is Earlene I had a appointment at the Green Biotics in woodfield her name is k underfined. She is a con artist she would never shut up. from she quote a price for 10,000 down to 3,000. I will never go back there again. This is horrible how they treat people and talked to people. I am 67 years old. she also said that she would used the LED lights she just put different creams on my face and rub it in with some kind of tool. Please do not go back there. God Bless

HORRIBLE

HORRIBLE. These people are trying to sell skincare products as “medical” products and verbally put price tags on them for $350 each and then yell across the store to other associates when you decline their “special offer” of $199. Then they gang up and push their products on you as a team and yell at you as you leave. CRAZY. Such a weird experience. I even told them they were making me uncomfortable and being very pushy and the guy just continued to speak way too loudly and tell me he wasn’t being pushy I was just making a mistake. 0 stars. 0 out of 100. Horrible place trying to scam money out of people for average skincare products.

The woman super slow, guarded & fearful
Gave me the human trafficking vibe
I did get out w/o buying anything but it was hard.
No business cards - no info on their products online - the worse part is I liked their eye cream but not $600.00 worth. PASS ON THIS STORE !

I would rate it is zero if I could

I would rate it is zero if I could! Complete effing scammers. Zero customer service zero return policy. I spent thousands of dollars and then got blacklisted after my face developed severe third degree blisters from using their products that they sold me. Tried to contact the company. Tried to see if there is a parent company nothing no callbacks no customer service at all. My face was so destroyed. I had to seek a professional dermatologist to fix it. They act like used car salesman and won’t let you leave until you make a purchase. Again, I should’ve had the willpower to leave but I was trying to be kind and they were trying to be manipulative. It was a bad scenario.

Harassment, Exploitation, Manipulation

First of all I would like to say that putting products on someone's skin without their consent is extremely dangerous. You're all lucky I wasn't allergic to whatever you put on me. You're also lucky that some people actually have the money to waste on BS skincare products, otherwise your business wouldn't exist. You prey on people's insecurities and touch them without their consent, you put BS products on them and tell them it's "all natural" but you can't even read the ingredient list because it's all a bunch of chemical compounds that would make anyone question whether or not it actually belongs on a face. I also felt extremely uncomfortable and the sales representative felt extremely insincere. I don't even have a pimple on my face, yet still this woman proceeded to scout me from across the mall and tell me how disgusting my skin was. I should've just walked away but she wouldn't let me leave and I literally couldn't walk away until she made her sale. I felt like I was being harassed, exploited, and held hostage. You're lucky you got $130 out of me for some BS products. Especially when you originally asked for $400. I hope whether or not selling your product at that much of a loss actually made an impact on you because I would love it if you sleezy greedy people lost money to me. F all of you, your fake BS company, and your BS products. If you want dry red skin, an empty wallet, and lower self worth, come on down to green biotics, and ask for anyone 🤠

Scammed 76-year-old mom for $5,400 / Taking legal action

Similar to other experiences listed here, the Austin Barton Creek Mall Green Biotics salespersons scammed my 76 year-old mother out of $5,400. We are taking legal action.

My mother has terrible osteoporosis and her back was hurting while my daughter and I were shopping for a school item, so my mom sat on a chair in the center of the mall. We were moving to another part of the mall, so I asked my daughter to go get her grandmother. While I waited 100 yards away in the center of the mall, my daughter ran to me and said come, they got Nana.

By the time I got inside the store, the woman who had lured her in with a free facial service had already sat her with a young man named Benjamin who she described as an international skin expert visiting just for that day. He had quickly applied cream on one side of her face and convinced her that she needed to purchase the $300+ face cream to remove her wrinkles and bags under her eyes. Benjamin said he needed some time to finish the other side of her face, so I should continue shopping with my daughter and he would take good care of her.

My mother had been dealing with tremendous back/neck/shoulder pain, so we agreed that she would stay to have a facial instead of trying to stand with us in the stores. The store was all open and glass so I felt she would be safe.

I returned in half an hour and they had moved her behind a screen so I could not see or hear her. I imagined that my mom was having a relaxing facial, so when the salespersons offered us water and a seat on the couch, I sat there just a few feet away from the screen waiting.

My mom later told me that Benjamin never finished the other side of her face with the cream nor gave any facial. Instead, he spent the whole time caressing her face, pointed out her wrinkles, and saggy eyes, and asking about her personal life. She shared about her tremendous grief because she had recently lost her husband of 30 years. Benjamin said he would make her beautiful and that he would be a new man in her life, giving her his personal cell phone number. He told her he could give her an $14,000 machine and a lot of free items for $5,400 if she didn’t tell anyone and completed the purchase right then.

Meanwhile, I sat on the couch waiting. After a while, the woman in the shop said they needed 10 more minutes (I thought for the facial) and that we could shop and come back, so we went to quickly look at another store. We returned and they said it would be a few more minutes, so we left for five minutes and returned. Then, we sat on the couch and waited.

By the time my mom came out from behind the screen, the mall had already started to close. Benjamin had just run her credit card for $5,400 for a small plastic machine! The cash register was in the open area next to me, but they had completed everything quietly behind the screen with her.

When my mother told me what she bought and we discussed it, we immediately said we needed to return the item. They said that was not possible. We explained that the machine had never been used nor taken away from the store. The receipt showed that the credit card had been run less than 5 minutes prior. My mom said she really couldn’t afford it. They refused.

They said she could not return it because she had registered the item and opened the plastic film on the box so it was hers. This is part of the scam. Before ever running her card, Benjamin had told her to open the box so she could see the machine. He told her she would have a lifetime warranty and just needed to enter her information into the system with the box number and sign a form. The form says no returns.

My mother told them she had not been thinking clearly and she could not afford the $5,400 and needed to return the unused item that had not left the store area. She did not contest the $344 she paid separately for the first cream. They continued to refuse. I immediately called the police, a lawyer, and the credit card company while I sat in the store. The Green Biotics manager said we are closing and leaving, and you must take the items because they are yours. He said to contact customer service tomorrow. I said we refused to take the items from the store. They said we have cleaners coming in and the cleaners could steal the items, and we are not responsible for them. I asked how they kept the rest of their products safe from the cleaners and they said these are our items. Those are your items. I left the items inside the store and sat outside while watching the cleaners until they left.

We submitted the customer claim form which they said was the only method for a refund.

Within a few days, they mailed the items to my mom. We immediately mailed them back untouched, registered, insured. We have not gotten a refund, so we are now taking legal action. What Green Biotics is doing to people, especially to vulnerable elderly passersby in the mall, is wrong. They need to be stopped.

Have filed a police report against this company

My father, who is 82 years old and has early dementia was roped in by one of their sales associates. They proceeded to sell him nearly $6000 worth of products which he paid on a debit card. He called me the next day because his bank account was empty and he was afraid his rent check would bounce. He was slightly confused as to what had happened the day before. I instructed him to take the unsealed products back to the store. When they did they only offered him a 10% refund. I called the number on the receipt which led to an answering machine. I left a message and was called back by Kim (no last name given). who informed me of their no-return. I explained that my father has early dementia, lives on social security, and had absolutely no use nor any idea what all the products he was sold would do. I contacted a family friend who is a lawyer and he suggested I file a police report, which I did. I also called my father's bank and placed a dispute. Unfortunately, he paid with a debit card so the cash was already removed from his account when I called.
After submitting the police report to Kim via email, I was then offered a $2500 refund. I responded that the only acceptable outcome was a full refund. Since then, I have heard nothing back from the company.
I asked several times via email for contact information for their corporate offices and an address with which a lawyer could communicate but I have yet to receive anything. After looking the company up online it is clear that they have scammed many people. Since my father has dementia, I believe it is a crime to knowingly take money and refuse to give it back. I will be pursuing both criminal and civil action against them. I have also filed a complaint with the attorney general's office of VA and the Consumer Protection Bureau.
Stay far far away from these despicable people.

SCAMMERS …

I purchased products there while visiting from Florida to put wreaths on graves at Arlington. I explained to salespeople that I had very bad allergies to face products. Was told that the product was allergy free and if I had any issues I could return products with a full refund of my money. NOT TRUE!!!! My face started to get red hives and looked like tiny blood vessels breaking and scabbing over. Sent in pictures to them and asked for refund. They said they don’t do refunds!! I’ve been to the dermatologist 3 times to try to clear my face up. DO NOT PURCHASE FROM THEM. THEY AREN’T HONEST.

I am beyond livid

I am beyond livid. I was out Christmas shopping when a store Employee beckoned me over. He gave me a free sample and told me he would get me a sample of the cream as well. I said OK thank you and stayed outside the store. He then came over and said no ma’am, follow me. My first red flag. I go inside and he starts doing his demo and explaining to me that I should really use it and it’ll help with my skin and what not. The whole spiel. He does not tell me the prices, and just asked me if I’m ready to be rung up. At this moment, I’m confused and don’t know what’s going on and so he ushers me to the front of the store and asks if I’m paying cash or card. Long story short, I get finagled into purchasing. But that’s not all. The store clerk then comes up to me and asks why I am buying the smaller version when I could buy the bigger version at a cheaper price. I was confused and she said it was a special they were doing. So then the price went from one $165, to now being $220. At this point, I know they will not just let me walk out of the store. So I end up purchasing it. Mind you, and I am in my late teens and it’s hard to say no to grown adults hackling you to buy things. After I check out, they take me to the register, because they had a little handheld device and I wanted a receipt. I didn’t see the return policy. There is none. Only exchanges, no returns. So I couldn’t even ask my mom to go and return it for me. But even that isn’t everything, because after I get home and I open the boxes because if this point, it’s whatever, containers are the biggest fraud ever! They give you these heavy big containers that you’re assuming is filled with product only for it to be a tiny little capsule in the center that actually has the product in it. It was not worth $220 and I am so pissed I can’t even begin to dive into it. So much money for basically some thing I could’ve gotten at five below. I will never again be going to the store, and I recommend everyone else to stay clear! They do not care how old or young you are, they will take advantage of you and get you to spend as much as they can.
