SOME IRRITATIONS BUT I WAS ON A GREAT DEAL THAT SERVED ME WELL

I joined Green on the Plank scheme 10 months ago. I had difficulty with their web site (booking in to get a code to book in again to access my account). My account has never represented my reported consumption but I’m not too worried as the sum of my payments exceeds consumption so I’ll have a fair amount in credit.

I was delighted to have been on a decent, fixed rate tariff. I’ll miss them. I dread where I’ll end up.

Overall, a great shame you’ve gone. Best wishes to all at Green Energy.

Not the best experience, after Bulb

I've only been with Green a few months and now they've ceased trading. Response to emails has been painfully slow throughout, and the App doesn't work.

Potential switch to a variable rate with a big five company is worrying as I was on a fixed tariff (electricty only)

Green have been excellent in the short…

Green have been excellent in the short time I've been with them, the chat function on the website worked really well.
Shame that they have got caught up in the chaos of poorly thought through energy policy.

I write this review prior to the…

I write this review prior to the corrupt and inept Ofgem switching me to a new supplier.
Green. Energy is another decent company gone to the wall. And now I will have to pay a rip off price for my heating and electric from one of the bigger companies.
GREEN. has been a great company with no issues to report. SURE I may have had one of two gripes about their logon system but all in all I'm rather sadden to see this company's demise.

Great Service over 2 years.

Been with Green a couple of years. No issues and decent rates. Was on a fixed tariff for a period, then prices increased dramatically accross the board, which was to be expected in the current energy climate. Very easy to update readings online and have had no need to contact customer services. Sorry for the Staff amd company at this difficult time.

End of Reaganomics?

In the short time I've been with Green they have been faultless and entering meter readings was so easy.
A tragic end to a potentially major future player.
Is this the beginning of the end of Reaganomics, back to the Regional Gas Boards perhaps?

Sad loss of a decent small energy supplier

Very disappointed to see the demise of Green, who have delivered good value to us for a couple of years. I only had to contact them once to request a refund as the DDR turned out to be on the high side and we were building an excessive credit balance, and that refund was handled helpfully, efficiently and promptly. Otherwise their systems have always worked for me. Sad to see a loss of this (and other) decent small suppliers.

Brilliant company

Brilliant company, was with Green for 2 years, experienced good customer service throughout and competitive prices. Such as shame they've exited the market, I will miss this company.

Couldn't Fault Green !

I was only with green for just over 7 weeks. Moved into a property, Transferred from BG. Transfer process was smooth and easy. Then the news gloomed about the wholesale price of Gas. I have since started to switch to different supplier, only because Green were putting up their prices (I can't blame them for this). So I've moved to a 1 year fixed deal. Then yesterday (22/09) notified that Green as ceasing trading. Sad to hear this! In my 6-8 weeks I have been with Green - there were absolutely no issues at all.

I found the staff to be helpful most of…

I found the staff to be helpful most of the time. I was annoyed when I asked for a refund of my credit and I couldn't get it all back. I have some money and no doubt it will take months for a refund (same with the credit for Yorkshire energy). I wish the staff well in any new venture. Maybe some of them will train to be hgv drivers and close that gap!

Pity to see Green go...

I have been with Green for almost a year now. Generally, they have provided very good service, with only one minor 'glitch' where they quibbled with me about the amount of my monthly direct debit. In the main however, my experience with Green was a good one, and their 'Aspen' tariff was good value for money, while it lasted. Sorry to see Green become the latest casualty of the energy crisis. I wish their staff all the best for the future.

Thankfully they've gone!!

The biggest regret was joining this organisation. They allowed my energy to be stolen in an erroneous transfer to British Gas after I objected to it happening on three occasions. It became a full time job trying to get it back to Green. The amount of stress they have caused me Is off the scale. Despite them allowing my energy to to be stolen by British Gas they charged me my exit fees when I hadn't asked to leave. The ombudsman has described them to me as abysmal and they cannot now intervene to get my money back because they have gone bankrupt!!
Even if we all get handed to British Gas on a higher rate its better than enduring Green. Good riddance and I hope you are gone for good!!
Little tip.... keep an eye on a Peter Mcgirr, he is the CEO, so best do a director search so don't end up lumbered with an outfit he controls when they bounce back under a new guise, which they most definitely will.
