We had a home charger installed for our electric car and were impressed by Matt, who provided a competitive quote and fully explained the options available to us.

Installing the charger next to the front door meant the cable would normally need to be routed from the fuse box around the outside of the house, which would have been visible and unsightly. Our preferred option was to have the cable run under the floorboards and exit next to an air brick at the front of the house.

In the event, more floorboards needed to be lifted than originally expected, which required furniture and stored items to be moved. This took a couple of hours, but Matt carried out the work professionally and carefully, replacing the floorboards and carpet without any damage.

Matt also drives an electric work van, which clearly demonstrates his commitment to electric vehicles. We would happily recommend him to anyone considering buying an electric car and looking to have a home charging point installed.

I wanted to install an EV Charger at home that works with my existing Solar PV system. Matt from Green Generation Electrical Ltd responded to my call. Within an hour he was at my home, inspected the existing system, explained how he would connect the EV charger to work with the solar installation, gave me a good advice about the type and brand of charger to go for (which was aligned with what I’ve learned from my online search). He quoted a competitive price that I agreed to. Then he went the extra mile to find out that I was eligible to a DVLA grant which reduced the price by almost a third. The next day he turned up with his colleague on the agreed time. Within 4 hours I had an EV charger installed and working properly. The installation was clean and the wiring was done neatly even accommodating to my future potential extension build and not just taking the shortest path to the power supply. In shrot Matt and his team are knowledgeable, competent and clearly love and take pride in their work. Base on my experience I would highly recommend them.

Matt and the team first worked for us removing an existing EV charger and installing a Zappi 2. At the same time he got all of our existing MyEnergi stuff properly talking to each other.
So we now have properly optimised EV charging and solar heating our hot water as well as the cars when the sun shines.
Next we will use Green Generation Renewables to install a MyEnergi Libbi Battery.
