Great as in easy
Great as in easy. I'm what's wrongly called a technophobe, as in: I don't fear technology but I'm not much good on it and simple tasks are often beyond me.
This wasn't, it was easy and over in a trice.
Top job.

Poor experience
Three companies were provided by Greenmatch.
One company did not quote. The company with the lowest quote Green Leaf Solar turned out to be completely useless. Paid money upfront for storage batteries. Failed to turn up after 2 months. Kept providing various excuses. Eventually received a full refund via Visa credit card chargeback.

You gave us 5 choices for solar panels. They all visited us and gave quotes. We chose one and the panels are now installed.

Horrible (Inexperienced) Customer…
Horrible (Inexperienced) Customer Service. Don't waste time with this company!!
Their website online quote was basically a marketing ploy.
Completed an online form, promptly received a call asking exactly the same questions multiple times.
First of all, No caller identity (No company name show or SPAM? ) then the girl kept asking me to repeat what I wrote from the website, WHAT is my address & WHAT's the number of my house & WHAT's my mobile number/ WHAT's another contact number ? WHAT's the size of my bedroom? I feel annoyed that they repeated again & again if I already fill in all my details on the website? I said your company shouldn't ask me to fill in so much detail information if I submitted online? (that's what I said to the girl) she said I need to give my details information to installers. Then she asked again how many bedrooms I got? So I said why is it relevant? As I said to install 1 bedroom. Should just call & ask the details when they meet the customers right? (But her tone of voice is not happy for my replies) How do I know you're not the spammer? I said, she started screaming/shouting & replied to me if I'm not happy with the inquiry she can cancel my order right now if I wish?? So I said it's up to you Darling then she said stop calling me Darling. But I don't know her name, she didn't mention she just said she's calling from GreenMatch. I just don't bother to waste my breath with her IF they want business they should follow up NOT ask me if I wanted to cancel or go ahead with the inquiry. GreenMatch needs some experience with a calm manner CS to handle the phone calls.. As I found out they're so unprofessional. I've contacted all different Pergola and Plumbing companies. None of them like her attitude so cheeky & so unprofessional. Screaming & threatening the customers "IF you don't like our services/inquiry then I will cancel my inquiry now! If I wish? Again!! So I said go ahead!!!
Then I checked my email right after I already got a random company ask me fill in my details & some links to set up passwords etc...Why?? Why can't the company call me to follow up instead of filling in so much detail information AGAIN?
This kind of company just wants to sell your database to others. Not helpful at all...It's a nightmare to give out personal information address, mobile, email etc..
Please delete my personal information immediately from your company & send me confirmation.
The company reply still want more information from me? It's a joke!! Is this still not good enough??

Easy, quick, happy!
I wanted a set of quotes for Solar panels and had no idea where to start. I found GreenMatch online and they were able to recommend three local suppliers, who have since provided me with quotes. I'm a happy user of this service: far easier than doing all the work to research local suppliers myself.
Looks like the negative reviews are either because people *didn't* get called by companies referred via GreenMatch – in which case it's obviously those companies fault, not GreenMatch's... OR they are unhappy about being called by companies after signing up for a matching service. Glad I'm not a business owner; you just can't win!

Pointless, total waste of time.
Pointless, I provided my details as they claimed they would get 3 companies to quote for a heating system overhaul looking at a heat pump install on a 13yr old detached house. No one has called after they took all our details yet they now state I need to call them as they have been unable to get in touch. Odd considering they can email and sms to tell me I need to call them. I do wonder if the increased Indian spam calls have anything to do with them having all our details last week? They also seem to be a front for boiler guide .co.uk so I will avoid these in the future.
Constant harassment calls
Fell for the "online quote" thing on their website yesterday which didn't give me a quote at but just said "we'll need to call you".
That was last night. Today my phone's been inundated by calls from them from various numbers making it hard to block them.
The fact their website online quote was basically a marketing ploy and was never going to give me a quote means I'd never trust them anyway.
Just a middlemen pushing for a quick sale
Completed an online form, promptly received a call asking exactly the same questions multiple times. The caller couldn't grasp an idea of doing a market research while obtaining the freehold title of the property. When I tried to help him to understand the situation, he just put the phone down on me.

I have just contacted GreenMatch and am in the process of getting quotes for solar panels. The man on the phone was very friendly and helpful. I just wanted to review quickly to say perhaps some reviewers did not quite understand that this is a service that hooks you up with actual suppliers in your area so you can get quotes from them - so I don't know why people are upset that they have been contacted by suppliers. The website is quite clear.

Green match was a very effective one stop shop for my enquiry into photovoltaics. I was contacted by 4 companies all offering competitive quotes and great tailored advice so that I selected the most appropriate solution for my needs. I was able to make a quick and informed decision and place a order.
