Asda online groceries continually errors out at checkout stage.
Customer service know there is a fault and only say keep trying.
This time 12 hours Ive been trying.
Will go back to using Tesco.com
Delivery cancelled without any reason!
My delivery was just cancelled without any reason! And of course you can't get through to their customer services. I would give them 0 stars if that was an option.
Ordered four burgers
Ordered four burgers. Substitute with two!! Thanks a million Asda. Just half our family will eat then.
Website is completely useless
Website is completely useless. Every time I try to open Asda.com I am redirected to a log in page. Even after I enter my details if I open a new tab to view an item I get the login page again. I have over £100 of goods in my basket but it will take hours to check the items.
ASDA REWARDS NOT WORKING
At present Asda are selling great items at
excellent prices, what is disappointing on our
last 3 shops we have lost out on our rewards.
NO ONE AT ASDA SEEMS TO KNOW WHAT THEY ARE DOING!
It appears you have to scan at the end of the
checkout - NOT BEFORE!
The Asda employee said before!

Bad driver and bad customer service
Would have given no stars if it had been possible . Emailed customer service to raise an official complaint against an Asda delivery driver and heard nothing back . Very bad customer service what do they get paid for . Delivery driver kept saying he was going to cancel my order. He then was so annoyed when I asked him to bring the crates of shopping in due to my back ) kept moaning about his job . Items missing . Asda do not value their loyal customer. Joke of a company . Morrisons it will be plus with then you don't have to spend as much on your order . My mum has morrisons shopping delivered for years and highly rates them . Goodbye Asda or should I say good riddens
Delivery was missing items. Asda didn’t care
Delivery was missing items. There was no acknowledgment from there side that items would be missing.
But they rejected the refund saying the items were delivered. I literally have camera footage of what was delivered but there is no way to show them.
Also for how much we shop there and how much we spend there fact that we were complaining that a small fraction didn’t arrive should be enough to warrant
a refund. If we were going to lie then surely we would have chosen a much bigger value to go with. The shop itself was £86 and the items that didn’t arrive were probably around £10.
But it was the principle of the matter.
Clearly either the delivery guy pretended he delivered them or he delivered it to the wrong address. Asda clearly don’t have the right systems and controls in place to detect and prevent such issues and what’s worst is they don’t have the processes in place to even rectify it for their loyal customers.

Extremely bad
Extremely bad, late delivery's and expired food, so disgusting 🤬
Extremely Disappointed with ASDA Wallington’s Service and Complaint Handling
I have been ordering from ASDA Wallington for quite a long time, but my experience has gone downhill badly. Many of my orders have arrived with missing, damaged, or incorrect items, and the delivery drivers often show little care when entering the property.
The worst issue happened on 23 June 2025, when a driver damaged my door's panel by carelessly moving his trolley. I opened a case right away, provided photos, and spoke to several customer service representatives and even store managers at ASDA Wallington. Despite all my efforts, nothing has been resolved.
One manager even told me this was a “grey area” that could take years to sort out and advised me to keep calling customer service every week — even though it can take over an hour just to get through. I’ve been given different case numbers for the same issue, and no one has ever updated me on whether this was passed on to ASDA’s insurance team.
It’s extremely frustrating and disappointing to see how poorly ASDA handles complaints and how little accountability there is. I expected better from such a large company. All I want is for ASDA to take responsibility and fix the damage to my door caused by their driver
What has gone wrong with Asda
What has gone wrong with Asda? I've been a home delivery customer for years. They used to be really good for the basics. A couple of years ago I started to find some of my favourite items were out of stock. Some never returned. Over time, more & more vanished. Substitutios became a regular occurrence & mistakes crept in. I hung on in there as I valued my regular delivery slot. Then a couple of months ago the app changed. What a mess! Booked deliveries beyond the next one vanished. My shopping bag contains a permanent item I can't get rid of. My shopping lists have gone to be replaced by a generic Favourites list of everything I've ever bought (well over 200 items.). It's useless & frustrating. And still favourite items are going out of stock (2 more last week). I can't go on like this every week & I'm not optimistic it will change. I'm done & I've finally given up & gone elsewhere.

Expected delivery for a party had a call to say could not find us even though been delivering here for 9 years !!! I called straight back and got voicemail both times Then during delivery slot 4-6pm at 5.30 pm they cancelled the order o called customer service and they told me order cancelled as not enough delivery drivers - all lies and very inconvenient so order at your peril and hope You receive the order but do by trust it!
Terrible customer service even had the nerve to say have a great evening when the party had been ruined by lack of food and drink!
What happened to the good deliveries?
I have been buying online as it was easier to get all things at once as I tend to get stuff for a few weeks in advance. I think I'll stop Asdas service as this is a third time in a row they sneakily put in meat, fish and chicken with best before dates which litterally runs out in two days as if I am dumb and won't check dates. One order had chicken thighs with the plastic film ripped open on the actual package and stuffed in a plastic bag as if nothing was wrong with it. Several orders had quite litterally rotten produce with mold. I don't know how you train your pickers, but putting opened chicken, rotten produce or things going out of date in the delivery it's potential health hazard and can make someone very sick. Was looking forward to having pork chops for dinner, had to return it to delivery driver. Atrocious service.

Just wanted to leave a quick review to praise Gina on self scan, what a lovely helpful polite lady. Thank you.
I would give them zero rating
I would give them zero rating if possible. I have had problems with both their delivery service and their store on Beverley Road in Hull. Deliveries. I stopped using them because what I ordered was often not there. When you insisted that you did not want substitutes, they would deliver half empty or worse orders. How bad is that? Customer service. Sometimes staff who lose their rag for no obvious reason. And address you with a degree of overfamiliarity which is just plain obnoxious. And then they whinge to the media when people are like that with them. The term 'poor service' is generous. The latest. They are letting aggressive marketers operate outside their stores. I experienced a group of them a few days ago. Energy switchers. These characters are obnoxious. Their manner is rather like aggressive beggars. ASDA think it is OK for aggressive marketers to confront customers as they enter and exit their stores. It is not OK. The staff, security and managers do not give a damn. They fob you off with the usual verbal, It is all insincere and totally cynical. Why bother complaining? Just turn your back on them. ASDA will now be blacklisted. Blackbooked. And what goes onto my blacklist also goes onto those of my 4 kids and 10 grandkids. Bye ASDA. You have lost thousands of pounds worth of custom from me and my relatives.
ASDA's secret email address
It appears that a publicised email address for ASDA.com is very hard to find. If customers can’t find an answer on their website, ASDA seem to prefer people to phone the contact centre, or to visit the customer service desk at the local store.
There are many reasons why someone may prefer to type out a query or complaint, rather than to make verbal contact with ASDA. Sometimes it is just more convenient. We must also remember that some people may face verbal communication problems due to certain disabilities. ASDA do offer a Live Chat messaging service which sometimes can be helpful.
I’m happy to report that in October 2025, I eventually managed to contact asda.com email customer support line by emailing the ceo. Trustpilot advised me that I'm not allowed to publish an email address, but for people struggling to discover this a good start would be ...... ceo who of course works at asda.com
This resulted in me receiving a prompt reply from another email address, leading to resolution of my issue.
I’ve asked asda.com to consider publishing their email address. I do think that in many ways, asda.com does perform well, but there is obviously much scope for improvement. Making email contact easier sounds like a good start to me.

Asda is an absolute disgrace for a company who are supposed to know what they are doing!
Stay away from online shopping with Asda if you want to remain sane!
NO STAR SERVICE!
Would give it no stars if i could!...delivery cancelled before slot i was given, useless customer service, overall very, very poor service...
ASDA deliver? Occasionally...
I ordered an ASDA grocery delivery this morning to arrive this evening 7pm to 8pm as I knew I would definitely be home by then. But, whaddya know, another no show (This also happened a couple of months ago).
I called customer service at 8.15pm who said they would be with me at 8.23pm. No show. So I called again at 9.15pm to request a refund, which they say can take up to 5 working days.
After a long working week this is beyond inconvenient.
Lesson learned. I will no longer order ASDA groceries.
