The best feature is the ease of finding everything, and understanding the plain language. They have an abundance of contacts, which made it easy for me to find what I considered the best places to send my music too. A+

Honestly I wanted to have faith in this…

Honestly I wanted to have faith in this service but It's a system that you end up losing more than you gain from it. Over the years that I have used this service. I've submitted various tracks to nearly 40 curators and only had about 6 shares, which have not really done much for my music. The idea of this service is simply too optimistic and sorry to say, A waste of money.

Groover has been amazing

Groover has been amazing. I have been able to reach curators and labels from all over the world. I have received some excellent ideas and constructive criticisms to take my music farther than I could have by myself. Plus it is easy to use and well worth the cost.

Groover delivers

Groover delivers. This is a very worthwhile promotion company. Too many companies out there that don't do anything for you. Groover really does deliver. Highly recommend.

I’ve used Groover several times (133 responses), and my overall experience has been disappointing. A large number of curators simply promise to share your music and never actually do it. You end up paying for “guaranteed feedback”.

Another issue is that many so-called “top” curators add your track to playlists with fewer than 5 followers — which offers zero real visibility. Some even present these playlists as major opportunities, but they’re essentially inactive or abandoned.

The final result is extremely low return for the money invested. In my experience, Groover doesn’t deliver meaningful exposure, real listens, or genuine connections. At this point, it’s not a service I can recommend or consider worth using.

Really poor product compared to other sites…

Really poor product compared to sites like submithub.

1. No info is given about a playlist, it could have 10 followers or it could have 10k and you have to spend a lot of time looking them up
2. Most playlisters list multiple genres they are interested in to then give you feedback saying it's not the genre they're looking for - this makes them look like a cash grab more than actually curating music
3. The worst part for me personally was that if a playlister does decide to share a song, they have 21 days to add it to their playlist which is really unhelpful for those which are newly released to try maintain momentum for a song.
4. There is no option to select no feedback, and as we know, many playlist curators don't know alot about the songwriting process so much of the feedback makes little sense
5. it is way more expensive than other sites for a worse product

if you're an indie artist don't bother using this, money down the drain when we're barely earning much from streaming as it is...

Extremely Disappointing for Independent Artists

I really wanted Groover to be different, but unfortunately it turned out to be the same story as with many “music promotion” platforms. They squeeze independent artists for every last cent and deliver almost nothing in return.
In my campaign I selected 14 creators.
7 never replied at all, and the other 7 rejected my track with generic, copy-paste responses that felt like they were written by ChatGPT. Nothing personal, no real feedback, nothing that showed they even listened.
And here’s the biggest issue:
I uploaded my track on SoundCloud just for this campaign. I received 7 rejections, but my SoundCloud stats showed only 4 streams: one from a friend and one clearly from a bot (I even got a bot comment). So several “creators” declined my track without even pressing play.
I reported the fake feedback and non-responses to Groover, but nothing changed. It feels like feedback is ignored and the platform protects creators instead of the artists who pay for the service.
Overall, this was a terrible experience and I cannot recommend Groover to anyone. Independent artists already struggle enough. Platforms like this shouldn’t make it worse!

Great for feedback and opportunities

It’s a great platform for artist to be heard and receive feedback or opportunities from curators and pros no matter what level you’re at. Every response is a chance to understand your work from the perspective of somebody that dedicates their time to listening to new music.

The Good & the Bad

So I've used Groover many times and have noticed a bit of a trend. The site works and if a curator likes your track they will engage with you.

However. Curators have 7 days to respond before your money or coins are returned to your account. I have noticed if you get a response within 4 days you can be more certain that they actually listened to your song and are giving you a more honest opinion, feedback. From day 5 to 7 it's feels less honest and a grab for your money before the deadline and you are more likely to get a negative review or them saying I like your track but doesn't fit the playlist even though you picked the correct genre to pitch to.

From day 5 to 7 they are just taking the cash. It's of course my own experience and opinion

I really appreciate the honest and objective opinions — they help me see both the strengths and areas to improve. This is a constructive step for refining my future music.

Founder likes to host payola curators

Stay clear of them – they prioritise dodgy curators and money grabbing over helping artists. We had reported Soar Music Group for payola to them, with proofs, who were reaching out to all the artists they approved to pay more for more exposure. We also provided proofs, also from SubmitHub’s playlist checker, that they are doing payola, and Dorian put them on pause for a while. Then, he again reactivated them and made them a top (the most expensive) curator even though the listeners are super low.

Extremely scammy tactics and shady practices and bot & payola playlists on their website. BEWARE and use more trustworthy sites instead.
