What did Groover do for me?

So far I have had a great experience with Groover as my campaign has been more successful than I had done on my own trying to get reviews for my songs. I have radio plays added and most were helpful and great feedback. I have also been in the Charts that is a real achievement to add to my EPK. I will see if this leads to more streams later. The staff have also been helpful and there is a lot more you can do on Groover. This is just the start of my music life.

They delivered

They delivered! - shares and insight from curators - most importantly - on a per £ or $ spend for promotion - this has worked as a very cost effective but also very fruitful campaign in terms of getting us onto new platforms globally which, unless you've got the best contact list in the world, I'd have never been able to access.

By Groover You can actually get real…

By Groover You can actually get real promotions in good playlists, despite the fact that pitching for aspiring musicians in official Spotify playlists often doesn't work. This is just our case. We are very grateful! SwissDuo - Sandi & Irina

You are giving away money for nothing

I just started out, but I get how it works now and I really hate the model so I`d thought i share my thoughts hoping someone will read this and place their money elsewhere.
I would call it a legal scam, in the same way I would call a shady casino a legal scam. In a casino the house always wins, but once in a while they might throw you a bone, just so you can keep coming back for more.

Groover would be amazing IF your credits were returned if the curator didn`t want to share your music.I think its only fair that a curator can say no if they dont like your music, but it`s the part where they say no, I don`t like it, but hey I`ll take your money anyways, and good luck to you.
Basically they are giving you the middle finger while smiling all the way to the bank to collect your hard earn money.
This is the part that`s really disgusting.

Groover justifies it with that they keep the money because they listened to your track and they give you feedback on your track. Well, my guess is that 99 % of the spotify playlist curators doesn`t have any music degree, or justifyable reason to take your money for some short lines about your music that won`t help you at all!

People say Groover is cheaper than services that deliever guaranteed placements. And yea, thats true, but would you pay 70 dollars for guaranteed placement or 70 dollar for no placement at all? I would certainly go for guaranteed placement after wasting money on Groover.

Luckily I didn`t spend much, but nevertheless my rejection rate is 100%, so it`s 100% a waste of time and money.

Sure for someone they might get lucky and get placement. And if you are even luckier that placement may even result in some real listeners, but ask yourself this: If you were a serious spotify playlist curator, would you take free money and no placement, or would you place songs on your playlist that 99% certain would make the playlist less appealing? Lets face it; people using this service ain`t David guetta or Dj tiesto.. its indie artist, new artist trying to catch a break. And let me tell you with 100 % certainty that this break did not happen at Groover, and I highly doubt it will for you either.

Reply from Groover

Hi Roonay,

Thank you for sharing your perspective. What you're describing is exactly pay-for-play / payola. In the system you mention, the curator would only get paid when they decide to share the track, which means they would be pushed to accept almost every track received. This would completely annihilate their curation value, their editorial line, and thus any value/exposure they could bring with their blog, radio, playlist etc.

Acceptance rate on Groover is approx. 25%, which is high when you consider it could be 0 and curators are not incentivized to share the tracks to get paid more!

Moreover, this is strictly forbidden by Spotify guidelines, radio stations rules, journalism ethics. If you could pay $2 to get played by any playlist/radio etc. what would be their value?

All services that deliver guaranteed placements are scams, running botted playlists which only deliver artificial streams which will get you penalized by Spotify. Plus, all the streams will be removed from your counts, and all the royalties withdrawn. I definitely advise you NEVER to buy a package that guarantees streams on Fiverr or any other promotion service, even when they mention the streams are "organic". Spoiler alert: they're not organic.

Very professional

After using several other services, Groover has been by far most professional and reliable, with probably the best curator choice on offer..

Effective Music Promotion Company

Effective, that is the best way to describe my experience. I received feedback and support from a good percentage of those I sent my pitch too. The process was simple and easy to navigate, from uploading support material to those that wrote articles and added my music to their playlist. I highly recommend Groover, they are the real thing.

Great tool!

Great tool!! A real chance to get streams, real streams in... distribution totally out of grabs for any indie artist could have without Groover!

Feels like sometimes, playlists should also be prequalified in terms of having a good number of followers themselves. But hey, a listen is a listen, another person in the world getting to know you is always welcomed!

Real Support for Independent Artists

Groover gives me the opportunity for my music to be heard by real curators, playlists and radio stations.
I receive honest, helpful feedback, valuable support and even radio airplay from people who truly believe in my music.

As an independent singer-songwriter from Germany, an opportunity like this means incredibly much to me.
It deeply moves me to know that real people take the time to listen carefully to my music and share honest feedback.

Groover opens real doors for independent artists.
I’m very grateful for the opportunities I’m getting through it and can recommend it to anyone who wants to share their music with the world and truly realize themselves as an artist.

Pretty useless

Pretty bad, very time consuming, costly and disappointing. Just as with similar services my take is that most curators are relatively young and have a "modern" taste in music, whatever that may be, liking what is fashionable. My music was however accepted by a couple of radio stations and some less favourable Spotify playlists. Stay away from this service when your music sounds different to what is the taste of the day. It won't be picked up. Just as with similar services as SubmitHub and Submitlink. I will never use these services again and have meanwhile found far better alternatives.

Excellent service and great experience with Groover

I had a very positive experience working with Groove. The team is professional, responsive, and genuinely committed to delivering quality results. Communication was clear throughout the process, and they took the time to understand my needs and objectives.

What I appreciated most was their transparency and efficiency — everything was handled smoothly and on time. It’s rare to find a service that combines reliability, expertise, and a human approach, but Groove truly delivers on all fronts.

I would definitely recommend Groove to anyone looking for a serious, trustworthy, and professional partner.

DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY AT THIS PLACE

A complete disgrace. DO NOT WASTE ANY MONEY AT THIS PLACE. If you want to throw money away, at least go to a bar, eat with your friends, and have a few beers; that might actually do some good. If you want to be ripped off, welcome to Groover… Since when have people sunk so low that they're willing to pay for rejection and lack of attention?

Realistically

Realistically, I have invested so far to many companies but groover is the best. They are honest and in good prices. So if you succeed it will be organic. They try to help you by sharing some curators emails. This is wonderful
