I’ve been growing under lights for over 40 years, from the time that the only option was high output flourescent, and that was very limited in terms of what you could grow successfully.
Enter the HID lighting era, that definitely improved growing, but digital ballasts are costly and bulbs are expensive and need to be replaced fairly often. We won’t even talk about the cheaper magnetic ballasts, prone to dangerous overheating!
The two NextLight Plus Pro are the perfect replacement for my 600w + 600w HID system!
The light penetration into my growth canopy is incredible, and is so important since I’m growing tropical orchids and plants of different heights.
And the tiny 4” x 29” footprint of the fixture is fantastic, creating virtually no shading, and allowing much more natural light to enter through the top of my greenhouse.
I added the NextLight Control Pro, and highly recommend spending the extra bucks for it. It eliminates the need for supplemental timers, and the dawn/dusk dimming feature is really nice. Also the temperature sensor and auto high temp shutoff feature are a plus.
The build quality of the NextLight products are the best I’ve ever seen, and their full five year product warranty reflects that quality!!!

When it comes to online shopping for grow lights or any grow products really, you usually have to scroll through page after page of products spending quite a bit of time filtering through all the junk. GLC has made it easy by only having the best top tier products on the market all together in one place. No junk! Customer service is everything and GLC has been hands down the best I've ever had to deal with from any company ever! Seriously fantastic and caring! It was a pleasure doing business with GLC. My order was shipped out really fast, the usps is always a little slow. But I'm pleased.

Package arrived timely considering the time of year placed. Was packaged very securely with unmarked box. Haven't had the chance to setup and use as of yet but should be ready to use in around a month.

They sent me a broken rosin press. They would not allow me to return the broken press they sold me. Instead they made me send press back to the manufacture. I still don't have a press or my money back its been over a month. To their credit they did reach out and help with the return process and they do return calls and emails. They do not stand behind their sales when things go wrong and they will work over time to try and pass the buck.
