NOT 4 YRS OLD AND IS RUSTY

THE WASHING MACHINE I BOUGHT WHICH WAS QUITE EXPENSIVE IS A PILE OF POO IT'S RUSTY AND ROTTEN, DOESN'T MATTER HOW LEVEL IT IS IT DANCES AROUND THE KITCHEN ON SPIN OR SOUNDS LIKE A JET ENGINE TAKING OFF... IT'S STILL UNDER WARRANTY AND WHEN YOU COMPLAIN GET TOLD "MAKE SURE IT'S LEVEL" 😂😂😂😂 IT IS MY PARTNER USES HIS LASER LEVEL... IT'S A SHAME YOU CAN'T LEAVE PICTURES.. NOW THEY ARE THREATING TO TAKE THE REVIEW DOWN 🤣🤣🤣(Have you seen your reviews most of them are bad.. Grundig FiberCatcher GW781041FW Bluetooth 10 kg 1400 rpm Washing Machine

We purchased a Grundig FiberCatcher GW781041FW Bluetooth 10 kg 1400 rpm Washing Machine which I was initially pleased with, even though it didn't spin as well as my old machine. However, after 3 months it would display an error message and stop before the spin cycle and I had to manually move it to rinse and spin. We phoned the call centre - which were a nightmare to get hold of, although once through to them the staff were helpful. An engineer came and replaced a part and the machine worked for 2 days before breaking down again. The engineer came out a second time and replaced a different part but it's still not automatically spinning. At this point we went to Curry's, where we purchased it and they have agreed to exchange it for a different make.

Rubbish service when you have warranty and they lie to you that you do not to save themselves time and waste yours...

On 21/12/2017 I registered my Grundig fridge freezer from Curry's PC World as shown below with the 5 year warranty details:

"Congratulations on choosing your new Grundig appliance and thank you for visiting our online warranty registration facility. Your address, together with the model GKF15810N and serial 1710926110 of your recently purchased product have now been registered on our database for 5 years cover under warranty reference 6612871."

On Friday 22nd April 2022 my tenants who live in the house now (as I am the landlord and owner of the house) notified me to tell me the fridge stopped working. It was completely off and their food was off.

I called Grundig who actually lied to me and told me I only had 3 years of warranty and even though I told them it was 5 with my proof off email they again lied to me and told me that 3 years of the 5 is free but all they can do is send an Engineer out. They even poorly advised me to pour warm water into the drainage hole of the Fridge... put the switch off you name it all the Customer service read from a manual rubbish....

This took Thursday 28th April 2022 for an Engineer to turn up to the house. An old man who literally walked in looked at the back and said "Yup your compressors gone. I won't be able to carry out the task but another date will be arranged." I travelled up from Hertfordshire to Coventry (3 hours drive back and forth) for this.

Then Friday 6th May 2022 another "Real Engineer" turns up to say I don't know who we sent he was not a qualified Engineer but I can see this is unrepairable and we are going to give you the equivalent of what you paid for this Fridge Freezer back in 2017 and you can take it to Currys Pc World and get a replacement. I travelled up from Hertfordshire to Coventry (3 hours drive back and forth) for this.

Then it takes exactly 24 hours to process what they call the Exchange number or uplift number so on Saturday 7th May 2022 I went into Curry's PC World to make the order and it arrived Friday 13th May 2022.

When I asked this Real Engineer who the Engineer from last week was and why would he be sent if he was not suitably qualified, he then made a remark that your Company hires out people who learn on the go. I told him this was a waste of time (especially mine) when 3 people in this house have suffered without a working fridge freezer for 3 weeks now....

He said he agreed and something about regulations. He also confirmed with me that I am now well within my 5 years warranty when a few weeks ago I only had 3...

So, to conclude I called Grundig for my replacement Fridge (which I was well within my Consumer rights to do) on Friday 22nd April 2022 and it took until Friday 13th May 2022 (due to all the unnecessary lies and untrained Engineers) for me to have a new replacement. With 3 working professionals living in this house this is not good enough.

I have suffered a terrible experience with your company which I have to say I will be giving a bad rating for and will definitely advise friends and family to stay clear from this Company.

I also expect some compensation for the poor level of service and absolute inconvenience suffered for having no fridge freezer for this length of time.

I have attached photos for examples of foods that went off had about £60 worth lost in total from meats in the freezer to dairy products.

They did not care just sorry by email sorry by call. Beko same rubbish as same company basically.

Disappointed with poor workmanship of my fridge freezer GKF35810N…

I've had my fridge freezer GKF35810N for 10 months and am sad to say that the freezers bottom drawer front has snapped. Until now I had been very happy with my appliance but now disappointed that this has happened. I live on my own so the appliance does not get over used and has not been badly treated by me (female). I have been informed that the drawers/plastic etc is not covered by the 3 year warranty and so I will have to try and purchase this part elsewhere. Not happy at all. Thought I was buying a quality product, but is just poor cheap quality/workmanship.

I am only giving 2 stars purely because…

I am only giving 2 stars purely because of the engineers.
I bought a washing machine and heat pump drier in March of 2020, this was purely based on the 5 year guarantee that was offered upon registration of the products which I thought was fantastic. In 2021 however, the washing machine started making a knocking sound. I was told the drain hose should be connected to the sink, the error codes removed and all would be fine, still made a sound, the cpu board was replaced, still made a noise, on the 3rd visit it was then found one of the shock absorbers has not been put on correctly in the factory, so on the 4th visit finally my washing machine was fixed.
Fast forward to 2022, my tumble drier started making a strange sound, engineer came out and told me the compressor was knackered and I would need a whole new machine as they don't do a replacement part. After only 2 years this machine has to be disposed of which isn't very environmentally friendly.
Anyway, after all that I have found that the model of my drier no longer exists as Grundig have discontinued it, on top of that they now only offer a 2 year guarantee on their large appliances with some exceptions none of which being the driers (I wonder why...) so I am waiting for a call to arrange a new drier to be delivered, but it begs the question of will they give me an extra year warranty as the whole point of my grundig purchase was the 5 year warranty, it's busted after 2 years and new products only offer 2 years.
The only positive experience so far is the engineers who are nothing but helpful. The products themselves are very poor and I don't hold out much hope for my replacement either.

The worst lying company ever

The worst company ever! If I could give them -10 I would!! Be aware that they falsely advertised their products (stoves) are A energy rating and it’s false. I have solar and specifically researched for a A rated oven. After installing the documents left by the electrician showed a B rating. All attempts to make contact on their website was fruitless. Thankfully I took screen shots and have emails as proof of their deceit. The local agent Arclik, distributes Defy and Grundig and it took countless phone calls to speak to someone who promised to sort it out only to conveniently be on sick leave and not come back to me… ever! I told them I needed it sorted out as I was going into hospital the next day. Then Spoke to Innocent who had absolutely zero understanding or empathy. Also promised to call back… never did despite trying to get hold of him again. When asked to speak to management he told us he would go higher and come back to us… it’s now a week later. Suddenly they changed some of the specs on the website… so devious but I’m not leaving it there. Once I have recovered I will be taking this to the Consumer Council so no one else is ever ripped off again. These people have ripped off and lied about their products.
STAY AWAY FROM THEM AND THEIR PRODUCTS…. Please!!! You have been warned!!! Bosch has an A rating… and very reliable.. go with them instead!!!

Don’t buy

Don’t buy. After sell service not good. Trying to book an engineer. They book it and no one turns up. I am taking days off and no one coming. They have given contract to some other company which never answers the phone. Warrantee is fake.

My customer service experience was the…

My customer service experience was the same as many listed on here. However, after trying on a number of occasions to get hold of them by phone and eventually giving up i gave them a scathing review via Facebook and lo and behold 2 days later I got a call from the service agent to arrange a visit and repair. Seems like social media is the best way to get hold of them, but as with many others I would much rather a prompt, efficient and effective human response Covid or no Covid!

Take accountability of the complaint…

Take accountability of the complaint being raised and provide a non standard email response.
The contact by the service agent on the telephone was a similar standard its all down to Covid response.
I have invested in a Grundig product and expect better customer service if I have to raise a warranty claim.
The time in raising the claim and additional effort and time in trying to resolve a complaint should be compensated and then hopefully someone will notice that poor service costs

Couldn't give less than 1 star

Couldn't give less than 1 star as they don't deserve that much!! Customer service is non existent, the phone rings, goes through the usual menu's then you are kept on an eternal loop!!
My product is just over 2 years old, cost more than 'cheaper' products and came with a 5 year warranty but you can get through to discuss anything
They are now with Beko so that's 2 manufacturers I will never ever buy from again!!

worst customer services ever

worst customer services ever! moved into the property a week ago & so all appliances are unfortunately Grundig & fall in their warranty- they keep fibbing me off to go ask for retailer and purchase date of installation from developers??? not only have I made hundreds of calls, longest I stayed on was 100 mins, day before 60, it’s impossible to get through. I took a day off just to spend it calling them
& I have got no where!

Honestly the worst customer services…

Honestly the worst customer services ever, my fridge freezer is 3 months old, so falls into warranty, not only have I made hundreds of calls, longest I stayed on was 91 mins, day before 63, you won’t get through.
I’m still trying now, but going by these reviews I’m not going to get anywhere. Will never buy from curry’s or grundig again ever

Grundig customer service is appalling…

Grundig customer service is appalling and cannot be legal.

Grundig products come with a manufacturer warranty stating repairs or replacement.
So far we have been refused assistance by 4 advisors, 2 of which hung up on us.

1 hung up when we quoted their warranty, assuming he couldn't see a way to weasel out of it.
2nd because we wanted to speak to a manager.
3rd wasn't an advisor, however after stating their opening times repeatedly they disconnected saying they are closed at 1800, well before the time on the recorded message.

I hope they go out of business.

Bought a Grundig Fridge Freezer…

Bought a Grundig Fridge Freezer advertised as having an extended 5 year Guarantee if registered within 90 days of purchase. I immediately went on line and registered my product and was sent a 2 year guarantee, I have tried numerous times to telephone customer support and have this rectified but I can not get an answer no matter how long I wait.
Does Grundig Support actually exist?

Don’t buy grundig part of the beko group

Purchased grundig washer in 2019, with five year guarantee.
It recently stopped working, and after numerous telephone calls, and very rude Call handler,finally got an engineer to call.
He looked at the washer and said it needed new drum.
Control panel,motor,and soap dispenser.
He ordered the parts, and we waited for them to call and fit them.
We are still waiting, tried to contact grundig but to no avail,1 hour 10 mins first time no answer. 2nd time 48 mins no answer, I am now on hold as I am writing this on 1 hour 26 mins.
We have not had a working washer for 3 weeks now.
We are having to go and purchase a new washer today.
And it will not be grundig or beko.
Do not buy grundig or beko related appliances as there
Are other makes on the market.
Update called today 6 times 10am to1pm cut off every time spoke to agent vickey said she would not cut me off, said she would look into the problem,then guess what cut me off,as I quoted previously do not buy grundig, as it is a nightmare to contact them or get anything repaired,

Bought Grundig dishwasher in 2019 never…

Bought Grundig dishwasher in 2019 never been brilliant but used regularly,it has a five year guarantee and stopped working so like most other customers I tried phoning and like other customers on phone for over 30 minutes on three different occasions so I tried emailing and I got a reply , I was advised to unplug it for 2 hours🤨 well ok I tried 🤡 and guess what it didn’t do a thing apart from stopping me phoning them again, it has been nearly 2 weeks now without my dishwasher, please do not make the same mistake as us,keep clear of Grundig products

Dishwasher

I bought a dishwasher in October 2017 - this has a five year warranty. The dishwasher is leaking and despite being on hold three times for half an hour and contacting them through their website, I have not yet managed to speak to a customer service agent.

Their customer service is deplorable. I encourage you to find another manufacturer.
