My original complaint with Granada has now been resolved, Roseview Ltd have supplied me with a new vertical sliding unit with no manufacturing issues, sadly all at my expense because I tried to avoid a service call and breached warranty conditions ????????

BE VERY WARY OF GRANADA
We have been using Granada Secondary Glazing now for quite some time, until now.
We ordered some vertical sliding secondary units of which we completed installation around early May 2022, our first service request to Granada was on 6/5/2022 complaining of service problems which we could not rectify, a service engineer was requested to sort out the problems which were not of our making, engineer eventually turned up to access what was required to correct manufacturing defects, these were eventually corrected for more problems to surface, these rendered the vertical sliding units inoperable in bedroom windows which had there been a fire situation it could have proved disasterous for occupants not being able to exit via the windows, problems continued, in the meantime as a gesture of goodwill we paid the supply invoice, due to further problems occurring we have withheld monies from other supplies as our client is now threatening to sue if she experienced any more problems.
Granada’s answer to this is to apply to have a CCJ slapped on me.
Thankfully we have now gone back to our old supplier
