I was looking to relocate to the Okehampton area with my partner, contacted GSS and I was put on the mailing list. We saw the property we wanted to rent the process was easy and nothing was too much trouble for the letting team. Due to my location I didn’t see the house but I was offered multiple times which was nice. We have finally picked up the keys and have a moving date. The team were fabulous they communicated through out the process and always happy to answer the umpteen questions I had. Really excited to be moving and working with a great letting agent.

GSS are currently handling the sale of our house which is running into difficulties because of issues with our buyer. I cannot praise them enough - they have been unfailingly helpful, chcking progress with the rest of the chain and supporting and calming down our buyer. However it turns out, I am very grateful for the support they have given us during what has turned out to be a very difficult time.

Renting from GSS. Very pleasant and helpful staff, no doubt. However, unless you're a landlord - beware! In order to hang onto your deposit, you must ensure you photograph absolutely EVERYTHING - every square inch of the property inside and out when you arrive. Photograph every spec of dust, hanging cobweb, grain of bread in the oven tray, leaves on the drive, state of the bushes - catalogue it all! Photograph all carpet bobbles, dirty skirting and inside the door rims (I kid you not), because you'll end up losing half your deposit, as I did (only there few months), if they find these things a little bit grubby when you leave. You even have to clean gutters and facias. I was happy to pay for any areas I had left not 100%, but was annoyed I had to pay for stuff I couldn't prove was there when I moved in, even though it was abundantly obvious; they're absolute pro's at this. Landlords rejoice! This is THE firm you MUST use, they'll save you hundreds of pounds!

The reports I have received at the way this firm dealt with members of my family were terrible.

One of the most unpleasant estate agents I have ever had the misfortune to deal with - I would not use again nor recommend.
