They lied about their program
The lied about their program. They told me my debt would be settled in 6 months and get loan. None of this is occurring. They keep upping my payment and charging astronomical fees. Don't use them you will be sorry.
They basically rob you from getting out of debt. A complaint has been filed with CFPB for false advertising and deceptive practices.
The response from Guard Lit total lie. Employee are selling loans, if tis is not the practice than they should be fired.
Don't trust them.

Guardian does not guarantee loan approval, and any potential loan option is offered solely through an independent third-party lender. This is explained during onboarding, in your agreement, and in your welcome materials. Approval is based entirely on the lender’s criteria and is never promised.
Since you retained our firm less than a year ago, we have already placed approximately half of the total debt you engaged us to assist with under settlement, while you have completed only about one-fifth of your estimated program term. This reflects substantial progress and places your file ahead of schedule.
Regarding payments, any discussion about increasing your monthly deposit is optional and only presented when additional settlement opportunities become available that could help accelerate your progress. It is never required.
Guardian’s fees are contingency-based and are earned only after settlements are successfully negotiated, as disclosed in your agreement and onboarding materials. We do not collect upfront legal fees.
We remain committed to helping you continue this progress and are available to review your file in detail and address any remaining concerns.

Overall good
So far, I’m almost completely out of debt. The only thing I wish is they could tell you how many accounts you have left to settle after completing each one so we know when victory receives it’s final dance

Worst decision ever. Not worth the credit drop
I have been with Guardian Litigation Group since May 2025. I only needed help with two credit cards. The first and only one that was settled started at $12,110, they negotiated it down to $5,575 which is great but then they tack on their fees of $10.95 a month and $3211.33 for settling. So I am only saving a little over $3,000 but my credit score is so screwed now. When I started my credit was at 825 and now I am at 530. That to me is not worth a savings of $3,000. I could have just been paying the card the $422 a month and not had this HUGE hit to my credit. I was told it would be a temporary decrease in my credit that would only last 6 months. I told them that I was planning on moving this summer and I was insured that my credit would be better by then. Now I can not purchase a house. I have one other card that they are supposed to be taking care of for $11,988 but it has been in "negotiations" for almost a year. They called and said I could get a loan to settle it faster but what is the point in that when I essentially had a loan with the credit card company and was already paying them. The point was to pay it off at a lower amount, not start another loan. I think I am going to pull that card from GLG and pay it myself in hopes to get my credit score back so I can move. Joining GLG was by far the worst decision I have made.

Guardian successfully negotiated the first account you retained us to assist with, achieving a 55% reduction of the balance of that debt. Guardian’s contingency fee was explained during onboarding and in your signed agreement and is already factored into your savings plan. The monthly $10.95 fee you referenced is assessed by Forth Pay, the independent administrator of the dedicated savings account, and not by our firm.
The negative credit impact was also disclosed during onboarding and in the engagement materials provided. Our role is to negotiate reductions due to financial hardship while providing legal oversight related to our clients’ debts.
A settlement acceleration loan is presented only as an optional tool that some clients choose to use to expedite resolution. It is never required. Our team will be contacting you within the next 24-48 hours with an update regarding your remaining account. Based on the progress being made, we are confident you will be pleased with the outcome of our efforts.
We understand that financial decisions can be stressful and our team remains available to review your file and discuss available options for resolving the remaining account. Our commitment to getting you out of debt has not changed. Thank you,
