Thus company used to be good

Thus company used to be good. But their alarms stopped working. The replacement they sent doesn't work. The company that dose their monitoring is nasty mean and cruel. It has becone a waste of mone and a traumatic experience. Do not buy from this company. It is not worth the cost . It seems more like a scam now given the poor service. As a person who worked as a registered nurse I can't recommend them to seniors or the disabled.

Would have given less stars if…

Would have given less stars if possible. I am 71 and have mobility issues. Aged Care recommended that I get a watch with fall detection in case, and they were happy to pay for it. I got one via them from Guardian Personal Alarms in WA. Never worked properly: constant resets and restarts often changing languages. Battery lasted 6 -12 hours. A test fall (dropped phone gently on the bed at my OTs suggestion) detected the fall and contacted the monitoring group i was paying to monitor. That was in December. Still waiting for any follow-up. Guardian's response was it was user error (to a man who until recently taught computers for a living) and they would not exchange the watch. At my cost they would send a new SIM that I could install (which may or may not fix the flat battery issue but would void the warranty) or they could deactivate most of the "superfluous" functionality on the watch remotely as it usually didn't work anyway. No replacement would be provided. Aged Care Ombudsman wouldn't help because it was sourced through Aged Care rather than me directly (!!!) and ACCC don't get involved in medical equipment. I believe this is Elder Abuse. I'm not personally out of pocket much except for the 2 months of paid not operational monitoring but very dissatisfied with Aged Care Ombudsman (Aged Care themselves have been very helpful but Guardian also lied to them) and very annoyed that Aged Care funds have been ripped off by a dishonest vendor. Don't deal with them, directly or through Aged Care
