We recently moved from South East London to Guildford. We were looking for a company that could pack and move everything for us and make the experience as enjoyable and seamless as possible. After comparing a lot of companies (from large ones to smaller local ones), we decided to go ahead with Guildford Movers. We chose them as they offered the best balance of quality, friendliness and price. That turned out to be a great choice and Matt and the team exceeded our expectations. They were very responsive, friendly, on time, organised, careful and efficient and made the whole experience seamless. If I were to move again in the future, I wouldn't hesitate to go with Guildford Movers. Thank you Matt and team!

Moved a piano for me and I'd highly recommend them. Easy communication, no faff, made everything completely painless.

Matt & his team worked very quickly and efficiently on our recent move, they used mats and blankets to protect the carpets in both the old and new houses & reusable bags to protect mattresses and Sofas.
This is the 2nd time we have used Guildford movers as they had done such a great move for us the first time round.
This time our 3 bed house was packed and unloaded by early/mid afternoon which gave us loads of time to sort stuff out.

I had a very good moving experience with Guildford Movers. I contacted them at the last minute for help with my move, and they were happy to accommodate me. On moving day, they arrived on time, were friendly, and packed the truck quickly. Upon arrival at the destination, they carefully checked where everything needed to be placed and unpacked everything efficiently and promptly. I have no complaints at all.

Matt and Reece moved my daughter and I (we were swapping flats) on December 18th - one of the wettest days of the year. They both got drenched all the way through and never complained. They did a fantastic job and couldn't have been more helpful. Matt also moved me in 2021 and I wouldn't hesitate to use him and his team again. They are very professional, very hardworking and great to chat to!

We needed large furniture moved from our flat into a house with two narrow flights of stairs and a basement also with a narrow set of stairs.

Just wanted to say a massive thank you to Matt and Reece.

Matt was outstanding from start to finish in communicating via email, from securing the booking and then following up afterwards.

Both warmly introduced themselves which went a long way. They appeared genuinely happy and took pride in their job, they were the ultimate professionals. Swift and efficient with their work, nothing was any fuss.

I made them cups a hot drink, they would work very hard before stopping for a short break. They were eager to get back to work and gracious for the hot drinks.

Both offered without me asking if I'd like them to take additional items as they had space in their van. These were smaller items I'd planned to transport myself, I accepted this at no extra cost.

A couple of times I offered to help but they insisted on lifting and moving objects.

I trusted what they were doing, unlike some moving companies I've witnessed first hand in the past, these two had all the tools and equipment at their disposal to lift, move and dismantle any object. Without even asking they cracked on without fuss, dismantling objects, knew what they were doing, experts in their field. Didn't need to ask me questions.

They were respectful with my items and took care, particularly a glass cabinet. For both properties they put out rugs, very well prepared, they used these I believe to protect my flat and house carpet/flooring but also to assist in moving heavy objects.

With regards to the glass cabinet they had some sort of material over it for protection and a strap around it, moved big objects whilst communicating with one another looking out for hazards around them.

Somehow against all odds they moved a sofa bed which was anticipated to be difficult into the basement by dismantling it at their first attempt.

I believe they took pride in putting items in good positions around the house which has saved us having to worry about later moving heavy furniture. They had a good feel for where furniture looked best. That said they asked me with every item brought through the door of the new house, where I'd like it.

To top their honesty and integrity Reece found a gold earring in the back of their van without me knowing, handed it to me, it likely fell out of the sofa, my wife said she'd been looking for it. Matt also found further items in the sofa I was oblivious too. Matt informed me he checked the van to ensure nothing else was in there.

Both were very respectful and polite when wanting to use the toilet facilities.

We need more people like Matt and Reece, honest, courteous, hard working, professional, sincere and who took pride in their work.

Guildford Movers are lucky to have them.

I would recommend anyone to book this company, you won't be disappointed.

If I move house again I will turn to them without doubt.

Matt and his team have done a few moves for me over the years. They've been consistently very professional, trustworthy and reliable. Most importantly, they go the extra mile to make sure they don't rush the move and treat your property/belongings with a lot of care.

In this last move my furniture was coming from storage. I wanted to donate a few unneeded items to charity and they handled everything for me, which was much appreciated!

I definitely recommend this company and will use them again for my next move!

Very, very good. The removal felt personalised. Fast response to questions by email. Great care taken over protection of possessions. The team worked extremely hard and were friendly and polite. It was definitely a 5 star service.

Moving house is daunting but Matt and his team were fantastic from start to finish - calm, polite, friendly and superbly efficient. Nothing was too much trouble. They made the whole experience go totally smoothly from initial packing to unloading at the new premises. I have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending this firm. In fact, I would give them 10 stars if that were possible.

I hired Guildford Movers to help me move out of my 1 bedroom apartment at the end of tenancy. All communication was swift and professional, i never had any questions / concerns i couldn't get a quick answer too.

It was a two day job as they packed and did removals on day 1. before driving up the country to Liverpool and delivering the next day.

Matt and the team were excellent- professional and expert. The move went ahead without a hitch. They arrived early in the day and were careful when handling our possessions. They asked questions throughout the day so that everything went to its proper place in our new home. The morning flew by and we had most of the day then to unpack our things! Huge thanks to the whole team for everything!
