Disappointing lack of support for local residents
I recently contacted Guiseley Mobility to request a repair for my powerchair. Despite living locally in Otley and being more than happy to pay for a private repair service, I was told they were not interested in even looking at the chair simply because it wasn't originally purchased from them.
It is very disappointing that a local mobility specialist refuses to support disabled people in their own community with basic maintenance and repairs. If you didn't buy your equipment from them, don't expect any help when things go wrong. I have since found a much more professional service elsewhere that was happy to help.
I would have been a long-term customer for parts and future servicing, but after this experience, I will be taking my business elsewhere.
