EXCELLENT EXPERIENCE! Couldn't have asked for a better rifle safety course! Unfortunately traffic made us late but upon arrival Chip took us straight into the lesson on gun safety and rules of that particular range. He was friendly and professional from the start and we enjoyed every minute of our time with him. My husband and I both felt very well coached on each of the three weapons we used. We would recommend Gun Whisperer to anyone male or female, interested in a weapons safety course. We look forward to his safe return from deployment so we may take more lessons from him.

Absolutely amazing! The instructor perfectly tailored the class to a first time student and a seasoned beginner. Not only do you get the technical expertise, but a training approach that creates a proactive learning environment.

Howard did an awesome job conducting the training. He was thorough and ensured that we understood everything. Howard familiarized us with several different types of weapons, from the 9MM to the shotgun. He made sure we were comfortable in handling these weapons. While at the firing range, he guided us step by step, to ensure we were safe, while offering recommendations and advice through the firing phase. We would highly recommend him to anyone from beginner to the occasional shooter.

The Gun Whisperer provides a conceal carry course that is incredible! Not only is the material extremely engaging and thought provoking, but Howard is a wonderful individual. He makes the class interesting, caters to your needs, and is just purely genuine. This class is a MUST if you are interested in receiving a concealed carry certificate. I would recommend his company to anyone - from beginners to more advanced shooters. My husband that is much more advanced than me also learned a lot from taking his course. He does more than just teach a concealed carry course, so it is worth checking out the other things he offers too.

A Top notch professional, Howard Hall tailors the session to your specific goals. He is patient and inspiring - his positive feedback, hints, and techniques yield positive and immediate results. He makes training fun and makes you look forward to practicing on the range and via dry fire. Best of all, his Performance-based training and personalized training book with a record of your performance permit you to focus on areas where you need improvement - there is no guessing. Can't wait for my next session. The only problem is...you may have a hard time finding an open slot in his schedule!

My husband and I attended the USCCA Basic Handgun class. Being a very green beginner, I was a little nervous going in, but excited to learn and get comfortable with handguns. I was not disappointed! I had a great time, learned so much, felt extremely comfortable with instructor, and became more comfortable handling and firing handguns. The truly unique and best part of the class was the firing simulator, to prepare you for the shooting range. Everything was taken care of at the class and shooting range, so all we had to do was just show up and learn. I can't wait to take more classes and lessons from the Gun Whisperer!

The instructor was not only an expert in the material, but an excellent teacher as well. He led the class in a feeling of mutual respect, and catered to the needs and skill level of each class member, which ranged from novice to experienced.

I have already recommended this course to several friends, and will continue to recommend it to anyone interested in becoming more confident in using a hand gun safely, or those interested in hand gun ownership.

On a scale of 1 to 10, this training rates a 15. I walked out having learned more than I had anticipated and I felt much more at ease with handling and operating a semi-automatic pistol. Mr. Hall kept it professional and light. He distilled years of practical knowledge down into bite-sized pieces for us "regular guys." I would highly recommend this class to others and I am looking forward to taking other courses with the Gun Whisperer.

Chip is a remarkable instructor and knows how to relate to his students' needs and level of proficiency/comfort with firearms. He is personable and witty and his courses are both educational and enjoyable. I highly recommend using Gun Whisperer for any of your firearm training needs.

Having never fired a hand gun, the training was absolutely excellent. Not only were my needs met, they were exceeded. Left the training feeling that i had a excellent foundation. Safety was a cornerstone of the instruction. Will be going back for additional classes.

I have no experience with guns and honestly am quite uncomfortable around them. I've taken 2 classes and both have been top-notch. I was carefully coached, helped and encouraged with shooting and gun safety. The small class size really helps with being able to have personalized instruction. Chip is personable, knowledgeable and funny. You can't go wrong with any of his classes.

I attended the Range Runners session with Chip on Sept 24, 2016. The instruction and safety aspect were both extremely professional and I had a great time. Chip put together 4 stages of shooting involving movement and multiple targets which could be tailored to any skill level. I was able to practice drawing from the holster and quick magazine changes while prosecuting targets. Highly recommend this for anyone with a basic knowledge of shooting who would like to improve their skills up to the proficient marksman who wants to try something different.

I had such a great experience learning from Chip by way of The Bucket List class. I came into the experience nervous considering that I have never handled firearms but left confident and wanting to learn more!

The course was four hours long and a good mix of lecture, practice shooting and hands-on training at the range. We went at a pace that was comfortable and I had all of my questions thoroughly answered. I look forward to hopefully taking another lesson with Chip since I can't imagine going anywhere else now for firearm training!

The class was well organized and extremely informative. The instructor and the staff were well experienced veterans and yet they are super friendly and helpful. The hands-on session was so much fun and provided valuable experiences that will be hard to get anywhere else. I'll highly recommend this experience with no reservations!

I must say that taking the class "First Steps Pistol Orientation" with The Gun Whisperer was a life change experience. I took gun familiarization classes before but even after several hours I was still not comfortable or confident around a weapon. Today, after spending five hours with Chip I felt not only confident and comfortable but also highly motivated to keep learning how to shoot. He was patient, sympathetic and understanding of my initial anxiety as a beginner. This class helped me to overcome my fear of guns and showed me tools to protect myself and my family.

I learned so much from this class. Mr. Hall first taught me about each individual gun - how they operate and how they are different. He went on to teach me about bullets and how they are different and what happens when the gun is fired. This lesson really helped me understand the gun. When it came time to shoot, I knew what would happen and helped me understand the gun.
He also taught me how to hold the gun and how to fire. When it came time to shoot, I was very excited and very confident I knew what to do. Mr. Hall is a wonderful, patient instructor. He makes the class informative and fun. He is a great instructor for everyond no matter what level of shooting you are on.

Course rovided important background and hands-on training on pistol safety, handling and shooting. Col. Hall showed authentic enthusiasm throughout the day and provided stress-free yet rigorous training. I highly recommend it.
