Basically non existent customer service, clearly do not care whatsoever.
I have 7 dogs and had moved them onto Guru surf & turf last year after researching and looking for a good food for them to change to from the raw they'd been on.
All was good for several months until I received my most recent monthly order.
I noticed the food pieces were much smaller in size but assumed they'd just made the pieces smaller as they had been quite large before.
However, I soon began to realise it could not have been the only thing to change.
After feeding my dogs the new bag of food, the all began having upset stomachs, loose stools, huge amounts of it as if they weren't absorbing anything from the food they were eating and some of them were actually vomiting whilst eating the food. They were coughing whilst eating it as if it was too dry and drinking so much water.
I contacted Guru to raise my concerns and enquire if there had been a change in the ingredients.
I received a short email back stating they'd passed it to the production manager and he'd be calling me.
He never called.
I contacted them again after a week had gone by to say nobody had contacted me over my serious concerns about the food.
It's now been 2 weeks and I've still never heard from them.
Needless to say, my dogs are no longer being fed on this food (back on raw after this experience).
I've since discovered I am not the only one who has had issues after seeing the other recent reviews and reading posts on the all about dog food Facebook group and that there has indeed been a change in ingredients that Guru hasn't told customers about and that it's caused other dogs to be ill too.
Avoid this company, I'm not impressed with their lack of care to their customers and their pets at all.
