The worst customer’s service ever. Would not send me details how to send back the wrong Items. They send the wrong sizes.
Charged me for stuff that they never send and would not refund me my money. Also wanted to charge your service charges and VAT and duty.
I purchased more than £2000 of clothes. I will never buy anything from them ever again. The quality of some things are really bad and they are made in China,

I found this company online and liked their clothings but my experience was horrible, so stressful and full of regrets. Unfortunately I did not read reviews before purchase.
This is the worst online shop I have ever seen: Horrible customer's service, dodgy online policies, almost impossible return process and for customers from UK, a huge custom duty and tax. If you order by mistake, you cannot cancel and the company will ship the product expecting a possible returns with £30 reduction.
I placed about 3 orders including one order placed in error. My orders were dispatched in several bits after which Fedex slammed me with duties and taxes. I complained but no reasonable response. I contacted the company immediately to cancel the order in error. They replied after some days insisting orders cannot be cancelled. However in one of my previous orders, they cancelled one of the items for lack of stock.

Worst return process I have ever seen, dreadful customer services. Product subpar quality also.

Have tried to speak via WhatsApp on this matter, however the responder speaks in broken English and appears to either avoid or not understand my questions. I had submitted a return on a suit I had bought and have still not received any steer on how to return. Note there is a GBP 30 charge to return.

Have seen many others face this same issue.

I first bought a Gutteridge garment in 2019, a jacket from Torino. Since then, I have never looked back. Whenever I go to Italy, I visit a Gutteridge shop, I try some clothes in order to find my size, and when I go back to my country, Greece, I buy clothes online. Their quality never disappointed me.

Awful customer service and still haven't been able to return the products that didn't fit.

I barely get any replies from Gutteridge and only 1 reply to 3 e-mails.

The guide and procedure to return items, simply doesn't exist on the site, when trying.

Other than that - I ordered 6 items, which was sent separately through 5 packages... Not exactly ideal.

UPDATE FROM 21. September 2024:
For every 4-5 mail send to Gutteridge, they MAYBE reply.

I'm absolutely shocked by their customer service - in my opinion, this is the WORST customer service I have ever experienced in my entire life!

After +30 mails back and forth, it has still not been able to return the 5 items that I have tried to return since 2. September.

I think they with FULL intention make it difficult to return, probably bc they have a expensive returnprocess.

Status is, that they have (FINALLY) sent me a return slip, but with a dutch address as collection point!!!!!!

Previously, they made et possible for me to actually use the return form (that they sent me a direct link to after +10 mails back and forth), but the country was pre-set to the Netherlands, which was NOT possible to change!!!!!!

I reported this, and for 2 mails in a row, they just wrote back to me, that the zip code was wrong.... OF COURSE IT WAS WRONG WHEN IT'S THE WRONG COUNTRY!!!!!

I implore everyone... DO NOT buy at Gutteridge. Unless you no matter what, will keep the clothes despite of wrong sizes etc.

Gutteridge is 100% the best clothing company for elegant & oldmoney type of style. The staff there is polite and helpful. The tailoring is perfect for slim men and the fabrics they are using are top notch. I Recommend.

I will never order at Gutteridge again, as their return process is an absolute nightmare. I had to send about 25 e-mails, sometimes with no answer. Then it took the courier about 5x until they picked up the package. It's all with Fedex, instead of DHL, which works a lot better.

Most ridiculous customer service I have ever seen!!

1.) Gutteridge claims that they were sending me two long sleeve Polo-Shirts, but in the parcel was only one (1). I was sending them several E-Mails, gave them several calls, and WhatsApp messages. They do not respond or do not understand.

2.) they closed my account, so I can not do my returns of a very large order (>1000€ spend on sales products). Again, I contact them several times via several channels. No reaction from Gutteridge!!

In summery, they not only claim and accuse me to receive two shirts, although they were sending me only 1!!!! (I don’t know how often I made the situation clear for them). They also closed my account for no reason and without leaving me any messages, so that I can’t do my returns of my large order. I was contacting now PayPal regarding this situation.

Their customer service is absolute ridiculous und definitely not there to help the customers!!

Don’t buy from Gutteridge!! This will save you a lot of money and nerves..

Attention! According to the websites information, for non-membership buyers, there should be a button in the section "Check Order and Return Request" in the footer. Sadly, after typing in your mail and order number, you will not find a return request button. Hence, it is impossible for non-members to return products after online shopping. Furthermore, they might send you the products in various different packages, so that the return fee of 15 Euros will multiply if you want to return the products, which you might have to do separately (the same way they have been shipped to you). All in all, the online shopping experience is a big fraud, in regards of different ways to make your return request impossible. On top of that, the customer care does not even answer, when trying to contact them in every possible and listed way on the website. DO NOT ORDER VIA INTERNET!

Even after noticing this review, they lied about calling me and still did not answer my mails.

Unfortunately the clothe does not fit since the size seems to be smaller than comparable clothes from Germany. Therefore, I wanted to return the clothes, however, I am facing the following two problems:

- The order was sent separately in multiple packages; can I still send back everything in one package?
- When I start the return process, there are some items missing and I don't know how to add them or to return them.

I tried to contact the customer support through Whatsapp and email but no response so far.

The quality of the clothes is ok given the low price but the customer support is not acceptable.

AWFUL CUSTOMER SERVICE

After dropping into Gutteridge's shop at Catania airport and purchasing some lovely items, I placed an order for delivery to the UK of a polo shirt on June 22nd paying for express delivery.

On the 8th July I contacted customer services to enquire about its location. They advised that fedex had it held at customs in Italy enquiring about some documents from Gutteridge.

On the 16th July they advised that the package was returning to Gutteridge.

Despite many requests for a refund, customer services have failed to issue the refund and instead insisted the package has still not been returned to them by FedEx. It has been over 3 weeks in the process of returning to them by FedEx. Clearly there is an issue but this is NOT my issue.

I have paid for the item and it has never left Italy over 6 weeks since I ordered it.

I love Gutteridge clothing but I will NEVER purchase a single item of their's again after this experience and customer service's defiance of waiting for the item to be returned before refunding a disappointed customer.

Do not order into the UK from their website.

I used Google image search to find a shirt I wanted on their website. It was $43 but with shipping it came out to $73, so I figured I'd add a couple of shirts that looked nice enough to reach the $120 free delivery limit. Turns out, they didn't really have the shirt I wanted, so they only sent the other two without letting me know. I received a battered package with two crumpled shirts, one of which was obviously a floor model based on the signs of wear and stretch, the other had a stain on the collar (a white shirt). The shirts were soaked with cologne to the point they would have to be washed prior to wearing.
When I contacted customer service, they insisted the shirt I wanted was not available, despite it STILL appearing as available on the website even after I complained (perhaps they leave the popular ones on the site to lure customers?). Customer service refused to acknowledge my complaints and suggested I pay the $50 return fee and return the items - I would basically have to pay $50 for the pleasure of trying on a couple of subpar shirts, one used and one stained.

In summary, customer service is poor, products are mediocre/bad from my experience, and the return policy ensures smaller orders would never get returned (why would a return cost more than original shipping?).

I have ordered different items, several times, from Gutterige.
Every time the quality was top and I am very satisfied with their services and products.
The delivery and the tracking is also very good.
It is a very pleasant experience to buy goods from them.

It’s risky to buy there. I got many suits and they change the size sometimes so you can’t be sure it is actually fitting even if you buy the same size as usual. Returns are 30€. The suits themselves are nice mostly and it is a hustle to find pure linen suits.

Customer service is a complete joke. I send some pictures of garment which was damaged . They mostly gaslight you and don’t make any suggestions.
Second time I asked them if my order items are all available they told me to wait for the delivery.

One star for the following reasons:
1. The shop is expensive, although the products are not of good quality. I bought a cotton tissue, and after one washing, it started to tear apart on all 4 edges!

Awesome shopping experience. Fast delivery, easy return of products that didn’t fit and a great customer support. Won’t be the last time ordering here.

IF YOU ARE A UK CUSTOMER DO NOT BUY from this outlet. You will be charged VAT twice and if the value exceeds £135 Duty and UK shipping. When you pay for the goods you pay VAT at Italian Rates 22%. Then when you import Fedex their agent will charge you another 20% and also shipping costs which you have already paid. Customer Service does not exist.
