Old Gwernyfed is our 16th century home which includes 200 acres of woodland. Gwernyfed Wood is sourced solely from this woodland, we harvest the wood under our sustainable woodland management scheme, transport it to our yard only 1 mile away, where it is processed into a variety of different firewood products and then kiln dried in our own biomass kiln to a moisture content of under 20%. Kiln dried wood burns cleaner and hotter, and for longer, so with Gwernyfed Wood you can be assured of the highest quality product.

Very good logs
Very good logs - has a small amount of kindling type logs so perfect if you are running low or have forgotten keep the burner stocked snd fire getting low. The logs burn very well. They are grand size for burning too and last a very decent while. Service and delivery excellent.

Ordered some logs and briquettes and expected them to be delivered next day as advertised.
Delivery day comes and nothing, Yodel status states item still with sender.
Rang the mobile number on the website.
No answer
Left a voicemail asking for a call back
No call back
Emailed them same day asking when delivery would arrive.
No reply
Made an enquiry about an out of stock item via their online enquiry form.
No reply
Product is ok, but if you cannot speak to anyone if theres a problem then ill shop where they have the courtesy to respond.
Order arrived one day late, no communications since.

Excellent, prompt service at a great price that included next day delivery on 6x packs of wood chips! Tested one pack over the weekend by smoking 2x chooks & a piece of pork - perfect!!!

Excellent product. Pear wood used for smoking chicken wings gave a subtle smokiness with a sweet background that complimented the spice rub.

Slow delivery but worth the wait
Initial order wasn't dispatched as planned and therefore not received within the expected 24 hours. The problem was quickly resolved once I sent an email chasing it. Overall product is fine, decent sized smoking chunks that do what they are intended to do.
