1. Pyramid Schemes
* How it works: You take money from “investors,” find others to do the same thing, and promise returns that never materialize. In reality, what takes place is that more and more victims keep the scam large.
Why it’s Unethical: The money is made at the back of trusting people. Usually, most people end up incurring financial losses from those schemes. As soon as recruitment into a pyramid scheme begins to slow down, the scheme may collapse and leave late participants out of pocket.

2. Affiliate Marketing Scams
- How it works: You sell counterfeit or low-quality products using misleading means to create a commission for yourself on the sales. The buyers are fooled into purchasing things they don’t need or want.
- Why it is unethical: Such deceptive marketing corrodes consumer trust, and hard-earned money is ill-spent.

3. Price Gouging
How this works: During an emergency or shortage, sellers will take advantage of inflated prices for peoples’ basic needs such as water, food, or medicine. Why it is bad: The possibility of having an extremely adverse outcome brought about by taking advantage of the vulnerable can make necessities unaffordable.
