I wish I had looked at these reviews…

I wish I had looked at these reviews before buying. Delivery due over two weeks ago but nothing received no response to emails. Very disappointed. I bought some yarn from a market stall but didn't have enough, saw on here and same price so bought but not received. I now have jumper but no sleeves - I bought wright recommended but didn't check length and for a pattern for a different yarn!

Scam

Order placed and paid for, promised express delivery. Over 2 weeks later, no delivery. Emails not responded to, incorrect telephone numbers on website. Waste of time and money. Avoid.

Disappointed, it's not like it used to be

I used Habiknit when it used to be in Wakefield city centre. Unfortunately it has closed but I trusted their company and I favour shopping locally so I decided to support them online. Well, I never received any of my order and the email they provided for customer service bounced back. I even tried calling and it's cut off.

A real shame. I've had to claw my money back via my bank.

Avoid Shopping with Habiknit

What a shame I have to give at least one star! Order not received. No answer to several emails, FB message or Instagram. Tried contacting them by phone but cut off. I now have to wait another two weeks to submit a claim. Avoid.

Wrong size buttons

Bought 4 x 25mm buttons. Got sent 4 X 15mm buttons. No reply to my emails.

What a shame I didnt see these reviews…

What a shame I didnt see these reviews before ordering online. They took money for my order and then failed to both dispatch it or deliver it. When I contacted 'customer services' they repeatedly refused to reply to my emails. After 20 days I opened a case with Paypal and still they wouldn't reply. A further 20 days passed so the case was escalated to a claim yet still not a word from Habiknit. Paypal did settle in my favour (obviously) and my money was finally refunded a month and a half after my 'purchase'. I'm a small business of 11 years standing myself and was simply trying to purchase supplies, so I have no idea why they operate like this. Utterly abysmal!
And now in April 2025, 5 whole months after I didnt receive my order from them, Habiknit miraculously found the ability to contact me by email again - twice in 2 days and then a further occasion after my reply back.
Unbelievably they wanted me to review all the items I never received, and still havent in any way acknowledged what happened, my recent reply, or apologised for their appalling 'service'.

My order/poor customer service

I have emailed them so many times as my parcel is still at Royal Mail who’s refusing to deliver till I pay £4.90 as this company hasn’t paid delivery even though they have charged me delivery. I will not be using these again as the wool now has turned out to be very expensive. I’ve had no reply from this company. Very poor customer service & I haven’t even seen the quality of the wool yet. This company needs reporting so if anyone knows who I should be contacting please contact me

Terrible customer service

Have emailed twice about the wrong item being sent. No reply. Very disappointed & will not use them again.
Quality of the items I received was excellent but their customer service is appalling.

Avoid! Shameful service

Placed order. Order not received. Contacted Habiknit they told they didn't pay enough postage! They promised to send out the order again on a 48 hour service. Once again order not received. Rang up requested a refund. No refund given. Rang again Customer Service advised second order was never sent out! Asked for a refund once again still waiting.....
Buy elsewhere, don't waste your time or money. I am a month down the line and still not resolved.

Very Poor Service

I hadn’t read the previous review before, if I had maybe I wouldn’t have ordered from this company. My 87yr old aunt knits for charity using her own money to buy the wool and giving bags of wool to people with a pattern to knit hats for seamen on container ships and clothing and blankets for children’s charities. She also makes these items herself and has donated thousands of pounds over the years. She was using a company in Wales for supplies of wool, however they went into liquidation. Unable to use the internet my aunt asked for my help, we ordered quite a large amount of wool from habiknit on my iPad and my aunt, as always was very precise with the colours and amounts she required. We used her card to pay upfront online. The order arrived promptly which is why we have given 2 stars and not one, however there was one ball missing from the order. My aunt told me the packaging was good and not damaged in any way. She counted out the wool into the piles ready for distribution to the knitters and she absolutely knew that one ball of DK 100g colour fudge was missing. She rang habiknit and left an answer phone message. No one replied or called her back. I emailed them (my aunt doesn’t use internet or mobile phone) I had a reply, spelling was not good but I can forgive that, but I was told that my aunt would have to send a photo. I replied and questioned why a photo? A photo would not show a missing ball of wool, the packaging was by now opened. I told them that my aunt doesn’t have a camera or internet and that she is a very meticulous person who knows whether a ball of wool is missing or not. I asked them to just send the one ball of wool and that would demonstrate good faith. They have failed to respond. This is now theft as they have taken my aunt’s money but withheld goods from her. I will be reporting them to trading standards. Poor customer service.

Cheap products

Cheap products. Very poor business conduct.
They sent me a terribly assembled sewing box, which I had to send photos of the damage. They agreed that they would refund me as well as refund payment for return of item. HOWEVER. when I had spent 11 pounds to return said sewing box, and they had received the sewing box, another person emailed me back about refund and offered me store credit for the postage I had paid. I highlighted the fact that in three separate emails I had been guaranteed refund on product as well as the postage I paid(hence why I sent overnight tracked) this employee then continued to deny anyone stating refund so I forwarded the emails again to them and they still haven’t refunded full amount. Was very rude to me stating I was getting rude when they clearly had lied and there’s nothing worse than A liar. WORST CUSTOMER SEVICE. shoddy sub standard products. Steer clear. Awful company.
