I've been interested in cyber security for several years. I finally decided to take that first step with the Hands-On Hacking course based on the recommendation of my brother, Rey. I'm so glad that this was the first (but definitely not the last) course that I take in my journey into cyber security.

This course has taken me from my basic knowledge of computer networking and taught from the "101s" up to actually accessing the shells of several lab systems. My level of proficiency has increased tenfold- not to mention my level of confidence in conducting pentesting.

I've still got a long way to go but this course has given me a solid foundation upon which to build my skills and experience.

Very good content hands on and providing the right amount of challenge for people new to the party or coming back after a stint in another part of the industry. Well done tutorials and practical teaching.

I attended the Hacker House 3 day training course in Manchester and was blown away by the level of knowledge that they were sharing, and yet they still managed to deliver it in an easy to understand and follow course. I attended the course before I landed my first job within the industry and I honestly don't think I would have gotten the job without their help and advice.

I am such a huge fan of everything they do, and I've only had great experiences with them. If you haven't already I would recommend booking yourself onto one of their face to face courses or sign up to their new online learning portal to get the course material on demand.

You won't regret it! :-)

This was a great introduction webinar into the hacking world and how hacker house webinars are conducted. It sparked my interest and gave me some insight on how to teach myself in a more efficient way.

I have just finished the first section of Mathew course. Mathew is a really great teacher, he explains everything with simple terms so its easy for everyone to follow. Each module is comprised from a 10 minute theory video and another practical video which lasts for 30-60 minutes. The best way to get the best out of this course is to study the theory then spend 3-4 days experiencing with the tools, then write some notes about what you have learned and finally try to solve the practical section. This course is everything you need to help you start with your Cybersecurity career. If anyone needs some more info send me a message!!

When I wanted to get into security, I tried learning on my own using YouTube, books and some online courses. But I struggled to find the time to focus and build a good cadence for learning. I also missed having someone to ask questions to.

So I chose to do an on-site course and found Hacker House. The course was everything I had hoped for. The materials were relevant and offered a great foundation for understanding tooling, methodology and the mindset for pentesting. And the instructor, Mathew, was phenomenal. You could tell he'd been around the block having deep understanding of the tools & materials he was teaching.

The course gave me the knowledge I needed to understand how hacking happens and how to position myself to continue learning new techniques. I highly recommend Hacker House for their quality and commitment to helping their students be successful.

The best hands-on training I have found so far! I have been to several classes that seem to discuss a lot of theory, but don’t get into the “how to” as this course does! I have learned more through this course using the online material on my own machine and my own time, than any classroom environment I have been in.

Great intro so far to pentesting methodologies, I'm only a week in but have found the first two modules to be very informative without bogging down or injecting a bunch of unneeded fluff to expand content.
