As an experienced Cyber Security professional, the content on this platform is just exceptional! By far the best learning platform out there and I really mean that. The support is also very nice, I'd only recommend this to rocket your Cyber Security career!

Excellent assistant and very quick to resolve my problem

I have started my cybersecurity journey on 2021 with hack the box. Now it's 2024 i have learnt many things from this platfrom. Hack the box will always remain special for me in my career.

I made a pretty unique mistake regarding payments (Don't expect refunds typically), and the support was kind enough to help me out with a full refund with no questions asked.

5 Stars for just being a trustworthy company.

I was lost, so I mentor hopped on chat box and guided me through the dark maze of understanding code and placement.

It's not only great content, but the support from HTB has been excellent - I'd let my subscription roll over without realising, but they instantly refunded me the costs and cancelled it.

I'd anticipated a fight with HTB over this but they dealt with my query and cancellation quickly and professionally - fantastic and I wish that other companies would be as thoughtful as HTB

I used hack the box academy for about 4 months and it was fabulous! I really enjoyed it however my husband fell sick in May and I had to leave my career.
I got billed for the next year today and it really stressed me out however within 4 hours Jack the box had cancelled my membership, refunded me my money and wished myself and my husband all the best.
I have no hesitation at all in recommending this company for not only their content but also their compassion.

I had a question about the report for one of the certifications (CPTS), and they helped me more than i needed, giving me more tips & useful tools !

Summary: Deceptive automatic renewal system leads to hard bans for users who don't cancel, coupled with inflexible customer service and a lack of support for billing disputes.

I accidentally got charged for a subscription after leaving my job due to HackTheBox's automatic renewal system with no opt-out option.

When I tried to explain the situation, they refused to help, hiding behind "anti-fraud" policy which is inflexible and unfair. My account was banned without even trying to understand the circumstances.

I've been a loyal customer and explained everything clearly in emails but they made no attempt to resolve the issue or find a middle ground. Just a cold, automated response. Their support team cited a policy against unbanning accounts with disputed transactions, even though I hadn't initiated any dispute myself, nor had I set up a recurring payment.

Avoid like a plague if you value good customer support. They don't care about their users once they have your money. Their rigid approach to billing and customer service is unacceptable for a platform I once valued.

Extremely disappointed and will be taking my business elsewhere.

I would like to suggest, since I have been having problems for several years, that you make available to customers a way to purchase the full subscription as a gift without asking for third-party cards. It is really very annoying to waste time with such a simple management, and the only thing you do is make our experience negative. This year they charged my personal Paypal without any authorization or notice, when I went to purchase the annual subscription with a £100 gift card.

The website is amazing if you really want to learn IT, but the people running it are just as good. After I got a job, I didn’t have much time for HTB and my subscription kept going, however HTB issued a refund for a payment that I didn’t plan to do.

Great website and great people, nothing not to like!
