Terrible customer service.

Terrible customer service.

Washing machine failed within warranty. Took 10 days for engineer to turn up. Arrived with no parts despite being told exactly what was wrong when reported.

Apparently their “target” is to repair within 28 days!!

Qualified for a promotional offer.....beware!!

Qualified for a promotional offer, wine cooler, in October 2025 when we bought a fridge freezer. The whole process was unacceptable and below their customer standards policy. Only by continuing to contact Haier and after many emails we finally were given a delivery date. I had expected this for Christmas 2025, however the delivery date failed, Haier stated it was an internal process error. Again after several emails and stating my rights I received a 2nd delivery date, again this failed! I had arranged work commitments and business around both dates to be at home only to find it was a total waste of time. Haier again promised a further delivery date, this time it was successful, January 2026!!
I contacted Haier and asked for compensation for them failing to honour the delivery dates, stress and inconvenience and not reaching their customer standards. I was told Haier do not offer compensation and apparently do not adhere to UK law.
I will avoid this company at all costs in the future.

8th of January 2026

8th of January 2026. I had a 13 place setting Dishlex that started to leak water in the flood tray inside. It was 10 years old. Thought I'd just buy a new one rather than fix the old one. This $507 Haier HDW13F0S1 was delivered the next day and was very easy to install. Filled it full of dishes and it was very quiet when completely full. Washed well with the 60 minute 60°c wash cycle and all dishes were clean and dry with the exception of plastic which is normal for any dishwasher. Did a second load only half full this time and it was stupid loud, like obnoxiously loud and annoying. It has very inadequate insulation inside to prevent excessive noise. The cutlery box is positioned in the worst possible spot on the lower drawer directly front and centre of the drawer as you can see in the photos. You can not fit large pots and pans in the lower draw with the cutlery box in the middle of the drawer. Why they didn't position it to the front right corner to allow more room to one side at least is beyond belief. Whoever engineered this thing should be demoted to sales. Then it came time to peel the energy rating sticker off the front. Well the glue they use refuses to come off and I was left for 45 minutes carefully wetting and scraping the remaining glue off with a plastic trim removal tool so I wouldn't scratch the stainless steel finish. For a dishwasher that advertises itself as a 13 place setting I can assure you I cannot fit as much in this dishwasher as my 13 place setting Dishlex yet the dimensions of the dishwasher are the same externally. Based on the noise, smaller size internally to fit large items, the cutlery basket being positioned where it is it's safe to say this will be the first and last Haier dishwasher I am ever going to buy. I definitely do not recommend this model to anyone. Stick to fridges H

Missing parts, no accountability and no resolution!

I’m absolutely exhausted by my experience with AO and Haier. I purchased a £700 integrated washing machine back in September, and it arrived missing essential parts. Since then, I’ve been passed back and forth between AO and the manufacturer, with no clear answers and no working appliance for months.

AO initially sent incorrect parts, then told me the correct ones were out of stock with no estimated delivery date. I’ve had to repeatedly chase for updates and have paid for installation myself, yet I still have a machine that can’t be properly used.

Neither AO nor Haier has offered any goodwill gesture or proper resolution, and every time I contact them, I’m told to “wait for the parts.” It’s been a complete nightmare from start to finish.

I expected much better service from a major retailer like AO, and I’m extremely disappointed by how little accountability has been taken. I would strongly advise others to be cautious before purchasing integrated appliances from AO/Haier, as aftercare and communication have been terrible.

Trust pilot should add a ZERO star as…

Trust pilot should add a ZERO star as one star doesn't cover it. HAIER never read reviews sadly. I bought a fridge freezer on 17th October 2025. Was told to let gas settle for four hours. Then turn it on. It was on for 24 hours and didn't come to temperature. So phoned this uncaring company who said unplug it then plug it in. leave for another 24 hours. I said it doesn't work. She said if we send an engineer it will cost you £180 I told them to do one as it's registered and i wouldn't pay. Anyway 24 hours later still didn't work but the bulb inside did. So I phoned again to be snottily spoken to. Once they have your payment they do not care for customers. Anyway they arranged a day for the engineer to call and again it will cost me £180 and repair costs, again I said no it won't it's covered for 10 years you are not getting a penny. I was again told to keep it switched on for another 24 hours so engineer could check it next day. In reality I paid £379 for a ...BULB as that was the only thing working. The engineer took 30 seconds and he knew what was wrong. IT HAD NO GAS IN IT. So 76 hours of electric wasted because of that useless company. I called the number the engineer gave me and a nice lady gave me a uplift number and it was taken away and a replacement sent. PLEASE DO NOT BUY FROM HAIER or you will regret it

Extremely difficult to repair

Such a terrible company with products designed to be difficult to repair.

My washing machine gasket has torn which should be an easy fix.

I have accessed the documentation that doesn’t show how to take the front cover off to get to the gasket properly. I contact support and they say that if it’s not in the documentation it means an engineer has to do it.

Looking inside it it looks like permanent plastic clips keep the front cover on to stop you from being able to do simple repairs yourself. They want a £180 callout charge to fix something that shouldn’t need an engineer for.

Do yourself a favour and go with someone else.

Awful company to deal with

Awful company to deal with. I have a 6 month old induction hob which is not working as it should and so far they have sent round 2 engineers and want to send another because they don't want to replace it. It doesn't work but they keep trying to find a way to make it work!

No receipt, no guarantees! Not Haier but very very lower quality

Seems you have to give one star here. I would rate this company as Zero stars.
Bought this washing Haier (Hoover) machine in 2021. Picked it for its quiet spin but now it screams like a pneumatic drill after the engineer came to fix a different problem.
Originally the engineer attended in Nov 24 to fix an issue with the cycle getting stuck and fixed the washing machine with a new component.
£160.00p call out. / fix charge (work supposedly guaranteed for 6 months)
Received no receipt for payment, chased Haier (Hoover) (3) times. The company do not seem able to issue a receipt for payment.

Since the ‘fix’ the washing machine has developed a new fault which wasn’t there beforehand. Rang today to advise on the new issue but I had to provide proof of payment as they had no record of our payment! Still no receipt provided.
Haier (Hoover) now wants another upfront payment of £160.00p to fix the new fault.
Not really keen to give this company more money.
If you do only one thing in 2025. Do not buy an appliance from this company.
Haier (Hoover) do not seem a serious company to do business with.
