I had my hair transplant yesterday and the whole experience was outstanding. The staff were incredible – friendly, supportive, and always on hand to guide me through each step of the process. The doctor was amazing, a top professional who made a very difficult job look effortless. What really stood out was how the entire team carried themselves with genuine warmth and smiles throughout, which made the day so much easier and more comfortable. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

The cost of the surgery is incredible considering it's based in the UK. Can't recommend it enough to anyone struggling.

I had two transplants with Hair Growth Clinic and both were disasters.
• The first surgery was unsuccessful. The doctor did not perform the procedure — it was carried out entirely by two technicians.
• During my second transplant, the doctor was only present at the very beginning, then disappeared and again left everything to technicians.

I specifically chose this clinic because they claim to specialise in Afro-textured hair, but this could not be further from the truth. I’ve been left with cobblestoning (raised bumps/scarring – look it up) and bald patches across my hairline. The results are horrible and permanent. Cobblestoning is caused by improper graft seating due to improper surgical technique and incorrect sized grating tools used. They failed to tell me what this was when I saw then, if they did it would have highlighted their incompetence, so I've had to find this out on my own accord. Now I will need to find a skilled surgeon to correct the damage HGC has done.

This clinic provides a substandard service, delivers unsatisfactory results, and operates in a way that feels highly deceptive. They are scammers.

AVOID AT ALL COSTS.

They were very professional, explained all steps in detail before proceeding. They made me very comfortable all through the procedure so much so that I didn't know when we were done! The after care has also been great. I have already recommended them to my friends that need the same service.

It was a lovely experience for me to have my hair transplant by hair growth centre, they were very professional, well trained and one thing that I should mention was their behaviour, solicitudes.

They try to help you based on what is best for you. They are sincere about the true state of your condition.

Just had my hair transplant at the Manchester clinic with Dr Gillani. He explained everything really well and drew a very natural hairline, which I’m really happy with. The team were super friendly and kept chatting with me during the procedure, which helped me stay relaxed. No pain apart from the quick anaesthetic injections, which did hurt but was expecting worse based on reading the experience of other people online, it’s only for about 10 minutes or so, so it’s bearable and once you push through everything else is painless. Overall, a great experience — too early to see results yet but I’ll update once the growth comes through.

I've seen a lot of reviews on here basically saying negative things about the Manchester clinic and Dr Munir, but I'd like to add my experience and im pleased to say it was a positive one.

I did extensive research before taking on a HT, I had realistic expectations and knew what I was getting myself into. I think a lot of people either don't research enough and expect miracles or have no idea what they signed up for.

Dr Munir is a straight-talker (and boy can he talk!) but he is a professional and at no point did I feel like I was in danger or being mistreated. He was very open and honest about what was achievable, and a bit of banter as we talked helped relax my nerves.

I feel sorry for the team of technicians who perform the extractions and implants - they do not get enough credit for their work and are abused on here continuously. I can't help but feel there is an undercurrent of racism going on here, because despite any language barriers they were absolutely lovely to me and listened when I felt pain and needed a top up of anesthetic.

My procedure was complicated by my diagnosed hypertension, and I believe me I was bleeding like a mother fudger! They really went all out to make me feel safe however, gave me tablets to reduce the bleeding and patched me up at the end.

One final thing - this is a cosmetic procedure. It is not the NHS. You MUST research everything yourself before committing. The team are there to perform your wishes as quickly and painlessly as they can, and just because Dr Munir is in charge it does not mean he does it all! If that were the case, they would only have one patient a day.

I am very happy so far with my outcome and recommend Manchester!

I had a crown transplant with Dr Shoaib because my top was thinning. He drew my new hairlineand told me to expect two phases of growth. At month two, it looked wors(shedding) but at month five, it looked fuller. Patience is key. Clinic wasclean and staff kind.

I got a transplant with Dr Sami and nurse Noor assisted. Everything wasexplained clearly. I liked that they showed me my graft count and donor areabefore starting. The transplant took six hours, but the nurses checked on meregularly. After fewmonths, I have a full hairline.

My husband recommended Hair Growth Centre after his surgery. I did PRP with Dr Mahdi for my postpartum hair loss. He explained the process kindly and didn't push me for surgery. I had slight bruising but it went away in two days. Now at month seven, my hair is stronger and shinier.
