They not very big for what I paid for. There was not much to them. They were very juicy but not much substance. It would be nice to be able to buy the large red grapefruit.

I am disappointed in the size of the grapefruit I received! I could have bought the same size from our supermarket and saved a bunch of money.

I live in Upstate NY & cannot buy good, tasty grapefruit in the grocery stores. I decided to buy direct, one tray at a time, as I'm the only one who eats "a grapefruit a day" in my household. Ordering direct is somewhat costly & expect fresh, ripe fruit. My first order arrived and two were bad but the other 6/7 were great! I was slightly disappointed but then took advantage of their BOGO...waiting for arrival. Will see how the next ones are...
This first shipment did not taste any better than the local supermarket grapefruit. Not perfectly ripe and sweet. Is it early in the season?
