I started the HBSA in June 2024 this is a course with a wealth of knowledge on how to turn my handmade business into a successful ETSY business. With step by step tutorials on how to make my handmade business a success.
In November 2024, I took the plunge and joined the RISE community. I was honestly terrified about the financial commitment at the time, and I really wasn’t sure if it would be worth it, but I can hand-on-heart say I’m so glad I did. No regrets at all.
I’m definitely someone who learns best by doing, not just reading or watching videos, and that’s exactly why RISE worked so well for me. If I hadn’t jumped in, I think I’d still be stuck in the same place, going round in circles and feeling totally lost. But instead, I’ve gained so much knowledge and clarity; it’s made such a difference to moving forward with my handmade business.
One of the biggest highlights has been having direct access to Steph and Jayne from HBSA every week. They’re so supportive and down-to-earth, and the weekly lives have been amazing.
In all honesty, having the community has been such a huge part of it. We all go through ups and downs along the way, but being surrounded by people who get it and can relate, support you, and share what they’ve learned makes such a difference. It’s a space where we grow together, and that has been so powerful for me.

The support I have received the past year has completely changed my business. The RISE program has helped me really know what I want to do and create a plan to do it. Having experts available to guide me takes away the stress. As an etsy business that is already well established, I was considering in investing in this concept to help train some new staff etc. I asked a few simple questions via their fb site, is the seo info consistently updated to be in line with 2025 and can the monthly subscription be cancelled anytime? My post was declined, seems only newbies to etsy are the shops gushing over this info. There are no recent reviews hence my questions also no reviews from established etsy businesses. I find it extremely unprofessional as a business owner myself to decline a post as it's not inline with what you are trying to advertise.

My absolute go to for any small business advise and support. Worth it's weight in gold. The free events lives and work shops are fabulous. I joined up for the paid course and it's already paying for itself. If your serious about your small business it us a must!

I'm loving the monthly social media prompts and templates. They are so easy to customise and really help when I'm feeling a bit lost on what to post. I now do mine weekly, and use the scheduling option to post, so no matter how my morning/day is going, I know I have posted something for that day.
Really appreciate all the work and ideas, I personally would be lost without them. Thank you.x

I'm loving being a part of the HBSA, and am working through the course, I'm only a little way through, but have already learnt so much. I'd highly recommend joining, Steph and the team are amazing and always on hand with words of encouragement or support. I love that I can work through at my own pace as well. I've just had a very positive and informative listing audit, with words of praise and some things to implement, I liked how positive it was.

When I signed up to the course, I hadn't really took any notice of my Etsy store properly. It was just a side hustle to make extra money. Since joining this great course, it has made me look at my business with a fresh set of eyes and a positive mindset. I recently had a listing audit done, which was so incredibly helpful! I expected to get something in writing, but instead, I got a 15 minute video walking through my listing so I could see exactly what she was talking about while she was talking. There was a great balance of affirmation for the stuff I was doing well and very concrete tips to make it better. I'm always a little nervous about critiques like this because sometimes it's just hard to hear what you're not doing well. But Jayne was so encouraging even with her suggested changes. Excellent experience!
