Shaun is a rare - and sadly a dying - breed (in the professional sense, I hasten to add!). What I mean by this is his pride, care and meticulous attitude. There is far more to designing a sofa than the colour, size and style, and he knows his stuff. I had to replace my last sofa because of the floods in January 2025. I couldn’t find the combination of the size I wanted with the style I wanted. So I went to Shaun, having been badly let down by another nearby “tailor-made” service. Aside from the actual hand-crafting of the sofa, the day he delivered it, the pride he takes in his work was unquestionable. Everything was perfect. He sent me photos at each stage of the process and was enthusiastic throughout, in spite of a few issues which he had to overcome. People like Shaun are a rarity. You don’t get this lasting level of quality even at Loaf. And it’s made for u, with every small detail exactly as you ask for it to be. Thank you, Shaun x

After having sofas from "budget" retailers, one only lasting 2 weeks before the seat cushions failed - on two occasions. At approx. £3K for the two not cheap but the sofas themselves were cheap and particularly nasty, We decided to have some quality. Yes they are not the cheapest, but they are made to fit the individual, and the quality is excellent Don't waste your money on companies having a sale every week get some quality. You will be glad you did and this is what you get with this small personal firm. They are excellent.

Can’t fault Shaun’s workmanship and professionalism. We bought our sofa in 2006 and love it so much just got it refurbished this year. Wouldn’t want relax anywhere else.

When we visited the showroom Mr Bott was very attentive & keen to meet our exact requirements. He then came to our home to bring samples so we could do a match to our room. The completion of our 3 piece suite was on time & the delivery was confirmed by phone . Mr Bott & his helper were quick & efficient & careful not to damage door frames. The suite is beautifully made & should last for many years. Needless to say we are very pleased & would recommend his work.!

We have just taken delivery of the most beautiful hand made four piece suite, to say we are over the moon is an understatement. From the moment we first met Shaun and discussed our needs to delivery day the service and communication was first class, he is clearly a man who wants to ensure his clients are entirely satisfied with their purchase. Nothing was too much trouble, even, with great difficulty for himself storing our suite for a little longer to allow for carpets to be fitted.

Shaun made our bespoke sofa in 2015. Even now 5 years on still looks new. We needed a sofa for a long narrower room, he made us a u shaped sofa and it is a perfect fit. He helped us to choose the fabric and design. Level of service was excellent and very professional and he was very dedicated to making sure we were happy with the outcome. Earlier this year we had a problem with one of the cushions, which he took away and sorted for us with no issues. Would definitely recommend Shaun and Bott Handmade Sofas

When we first started to shop for sofas we were unsure of the style and fabric design. Shaun Bott was very patient as we mixed and matched sofa styles to design our own, and went through 18 plus fabric books, constantly changing our minds!
We wanted to maximise the seating capacity so Shaun built a bespoke sofa that fitted our space.
Once chosen Shaun went through the finish. One of our fabrics has a pattern & Shaun has matched the cushions to the arms and sides so that the pattern symmetrically flows through. The finish is perfect and the attention to detail in incredible.
The sofas are very comfortable and we are really really pleased with them.
We also bought a “Love Seat” for our daughter which needed transportation to London. Shaun went out of his way to help us source transport despite this not being his problem.
With Lockdown we could not take immediate delivery so Shaun kindly stored them until we were ready.
Shaun has given us exceptional service throughout the process and we would highly recommend him.

I had a cuddler chair made to fit my tall frame. Sean provided excellent advice on fabric and colour selection. The chair arrived on time and is well made and very comfortable. I will go back for a funky sofa in due course.

We received a personal service from Shaun Bott, including a visit to our home to measure up the space for our new sofa. Shaun is an expert craftsman and his work is first class. You may have to wait longer for your sofa but know that it will be handmade according to your size and fabric specifications. I am really pleased with our new corner sofa.

We had 2 sofas made by Shaun Bott and delivered just before Christmas. From Start to finnish Shaun took the time to explain everything. He has nothing to hide and we went a couple of times throughout the making into his workshop to see the progress.
Shaun took the time to listen to our needs and knew exactly what we required and delivered an excellent product.
