Good advice - thank you.

I really could not rate this company highly enough. I first got in touch with them several months ago, as I was considering the possibility of getting solar panels and I wanted to know whether it was feasible with my setup. Oli was happy to come round to have a look even though I had no firm plans to go ahead with the work at that point. He was incredibly informative and helpful, and designed a great system for me, really optimising my space to get as many panels down as possible, and being flexible with providers to work to my budget.

Since his visit, Oli has been prompt and happy to respond to any questions I had about how the system would work, and his answers were always clear and informative. When I was ready to commit to have the work done, it was all arranged efficiently, and the work itself only took a day and a half. The system is 14 panels and 18.8kWh of battery; I'm really thrilled with it and am looking forward to saving a lot on energy usage in the months to come!

A few weeks before the install date, a skylight started leaking on one of the panel roof areas. The team were happy to take a look at the cause of the leak to see if they could patch it up, and after realising that a roofer would be needed, they offered to leave the scaffolding in place until it got sorted out, and to detach and re-attach the panels as needed to get the work done. I really appreciate this extra care, and think it goes above and beyond what I'd expect in terms of customer service.

I contacted Hands On Electrical when my solar inverter packed in. They quickly sourced a replacement and two young engineers arrived the next day and fitted a new inverter quickly and efficiently. They were friendly and courteous, answering all my questions. Now the sytem is up and running again. For all your solar system needs I would have no hesitation in recommending this company.

The team were tidy, speedy and considerate. Their work is exceptional and the little niggle we had with the software of the inverter was troubleshooted quickly.

Simon and his team at Hands On Electrical have completed a couple of Solar PV jobs for me and my family over the past few years. One job involved installing Solar PV along with two batteries, while the other involved adding bird proofing to an existing Solar PV system. Each time, they have been polite, professional, and reliable. Their workmanship has been excellent, and they have always arrived on time. We engaged Hands On Electrical to undertake a complete rewire of the electrics at our house. As part of this extensive renovation, they also installed a 26 panel solar array with battery storage, hot water and EV charger.

They were selected based on easy communication and good advice during the procurement, together with customer references. Their ability to do both the domestic rewire and solar panel installation was also key.

We have been totally satisfied with all aspects of their work. The team are highly professional, polite and considerate - important when you are sharing your house with them for several weeks.

We can definitely recommend them and would use again, if we ever undertake another major refurb.

From initial contact, to providing very competitive quote, to survey, arranging all documents, and then installation, Simon and his team were exceptional. Very accommodating - ie needed a 3rd party supplier who was sourcing the battery, but he was happy to deal with and fit. My install was not in his normal catchment zone but was happy to travel each day and did a fantastic job, in what seemed like 4 seasons of weather in 1 day!. Simon installed Solar panels, inverter, battery stack and replaced the main consumer unit in house and in garage to be latest regulations. Can't fault his and his teams work - and wouldn't hesitate in recommending him and his company for any electrical work you need doing.

Simon was very helpful right from the outset of our inquiries. Discussed all the various possibilities and then sent a very comprehensive quotation. The work required was the installation of solar panels, Tesla powerwall storage battery and EV charger. All work was carried out promptly and efficiently by an excellent and very knowledgeable team of workers. I had a minor fault with the EV charger which was sorted very quickly . The price I paid was the price quoted. Everything about this firm is helpful and truly professional.

Having received quotes from 5 solar PV companies, I decided to go with Simon. Simon was more than happy to discuss options & answered my questions (and gave the answers I was hoping for), his quote very competitive, and importantly for me, I knew it was going to be Simon (and team) doing the work, not sub-contracted to a 3rd party.

Simon Hands was recommended by a friend for a solar/battery system and what a great recommendation. Initially, a polite very good communicator at the quote stage, then on site he and his team were hard working and very thorough. Their pricing was competitive and we are delighted with the system that was fitted.

Simon & his team installed solar on 4 different roofs, along with a Tesla Powerwall and Eddi solar to water diverter.

Communication was fantastic and pro-active throughout from first making contact right through to getting the system signed off and MCS certificates provided.

What impressed me most was the fact that part of our roof lining was very old and this only became apparent once the scaffolding was up & the installation began. We needed to replace part of our roof and this meant that Simon's team had to come off site for 2 weeks while the roof was repaired. This was no issue for them and they were very accommodating in fitting my job in around their other work schedule, they also didn't charge me any more even though the scaffolding etc had to stay up much longer & the job took longer than initially expected (due to no fault of theirs).

I had lots of questions and Simon was able to help and advise throughout and I am very happy with the set up & it all works perfectly.

Finally the price we were quoted initially was a fair one and I thoroughly recommend Hands On Electrical and indeed I have already recommended them to others.

From the initial technical discussion I was sure we had made the right choice selecting HandsonElectrical in Bredon for the installation of our Tesla 13.5kw Powerwall battery. Simon and his team worked seamlessly together as the project also included the addition of 6 high capacity solar panels. This job was competitively priced and involved challenging integration with the existing 12 year old PV panels on our barn requiring expertise well beyond an ‘ ordinary’ new solar installation.
All in all a very impressive exercise and I have already recommended Simon to four of my friends who are currently planning to install solar systems.

Wow wow wow! Family run business, pride in their job with quality and all questions I raised fully answered. Discussed lots of options but went with viridian for the aesthetics and Tesla for the islanding and functionality.

Highly knowledgeable team and FULLY transparent prices - I mean down to individual items - not just ‘ a lump sum’ like middle/larger companies. Plus prices provided are genuine, market costs for items and not ‘inflated’ which is honest and professional.

Installation started on time, friendly team and all sorted promptly with rubbish removed. Demo of the system and MCS certificate And all building control paperwork and packs provided.

Was so happy I went back and asked them to put the Eddie in too whilst they were around - not a problem for them:)

Don’t bother with ‘Facebook ads’ that start low and then add add add extras in that should be included as standard - like scafolding! Just call up or email Simon Hands of Hands On electrical!
