Shocking company

I would never recommend such a poor company a private engineer came out and assessed the lift who also had heard very poor situation with Hanover lifts and previously worked for them made comments about Hanover they found the issue with the lift when Hanover said it was beyond repair.they bill you but don't complete the work still waiting for a part which was paid for over a year ago

Experts in their field

My wife has been client of Hanover Lifts (because this is the company her social housing provider uses for stair lifts) for over 13 years. We can only speak highly of the service we have received over the years. Yes we have had break downs, but on the whole these have been fixed promptly with minimal disruption. We have had three stair lifts over that time, the first two were reconditioned lifts that had their faults, but as I said they were fixed fairly promptly. Last week we had a brand new lift fitted as our previous one was at the end of its serviceable life. The girls in the office were wonderful in their assistance with chasing our social housing provider to sign off the paperwork and the chap that came to fit it was very professional, polite and efficient. We would like to extend our thanks to everyone at Hanover for a job well done.

Unhappy with this company, their product and their after sales service.

The stairlift developed several faults and broke down within the first year of installation. The QR code on the stairlift was supposed to provide the date of manufacture, but it did not. Although I was assured it was a new stairlift, I am uncertain if that was the case. I found the company's management difficult to deal with, and the after-sales service was poor. Their attitude was defensive and dismissive, which I found unacceptable. Based on my experience, I would not purchase from this company again.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY

Knowingly installed a chairlift which was underpowered for the weight that it was needed to lift.
CONSTANTLY breaking down and now they refuse to come out for any reason trapping people downstairs ( when we eventually got downstairs ), we have now slept downstairs for over a week and still they refuse to attend breakdown.
Two weeks ago it took a whole ten minutes to get my partner into an ambulance after she suffered chest pains!!!!!! This company couldn’t care less!!!!

THEY ARE A TOTALLY USELESS AND UNCARING COMPANY WHO ARE BEST AVOIDED!!!!!!!!

YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!!!!!!!

Friendly but not very competent.

There seemed to be some lack of communication between the person I booked the work with and engineer. I asked for a visit for service and repair, the engineer thought only service. He attempted adjustment to solve problem but left lift door lock only unlatching if occupants of lift stood in one corner. I booked a second visit to sort this and the same engineer came out but hadn’t been told he was to look at this problem again and didn’t do anything. He arranged a further visit with another engineer and finally all is now working.
