Happn is their Flashnote scam incarnate

Happn limits the number of messages one can initiate. They provide a countdown meter showing the hours/minutes/seconds until we can. My "start your next Flashnote" began 1:05:45. After reaching 0, it starts again. These guys are incompetent. Or scammers. Or both. Underneath the clock, their copy reads "Don't let this opportunity pass -- buy more Flashnotes now", followed by, "This option will soon be available on the web app". I wish I could provide a screenshot. Priceless.

This site is an absolute scam

This site is an absolute scam. All profiles are fake and have been stolen from other dating sites or just people who are trying to gain your data or crypto scams. Two of my female friends liked me, even though they don’t have Happn.

Crypto crooks

99% of all „crushes“ are criminal fakes - it’s all about investing and crypto etc. Stay away - this is no serious dating app!

Mis-sold subscription at 50%.

Mis-sold subscription at 50% but charged 100%. Dispute met with disinterest. Also app seems to have degraded in terms of profiles. Try Bumble or Tinder, much better quality.

Total and utter rubbish

Total and utter rubbish. It used to be ok but since the past 3-4 months 18/20 profiles and messages are fake. They ignore your questions then say they are not on the app often and ask you to contact an outlook email. Just spam bots wanting your email or phone details

The worst ever

Although in theory this could be one of the best dating apps, it turns out to be the worst. One of the interesting features is that you can see if you crossed paths somewhere with a potential date.
In reality, the site is overwhelmed by fake profiles.
Those are populated by bots. Typically those profiles will supposedly be 5 km away from you, and will have very little or no personal info in them.
The pictures must be from the internet.
These profiles will crush with you, and the conversation you have with the bot will be extremely strange, its replies not making any sense.
Typically after 2 or 3 'responses' the bot will say it has a problem with the device or doesn't come there often, and invites you to send an email to some generic looking gmail or outlook.com address.
Within a couple of hours or the next day you will get an email from an attractive looking woman with some fake composite photos and even a fake video telling you this girl you supposedly crossed paths with, and who supposedly lives only 5 km from you, actually is from Kazachstan, lives in Russia, but is willing to travel.
It is a known scam, they will 'fall in love' quickly, will supposedly travel, then get into trouble, and ask you for money.
All of the crushes (at least 10) I had there were of this type.
The owners are lying through their teeth when they say they do everything to avoid fake profiles, as the app is riddled with them, and it is possible to create an almost empty profile, with not even a catch phrase.
Also, their GPS like system must be completely hackable, how else can someone appear at 5km from you but live in Russia?
One thing to look out for is the time you had a crush.
If this is at a time when most people are sleeping in your timezone (like 5am), but this corresponds with the beginning of a new working day in Russia, be very aware...

Awful dating site

Awful dating site. Never known such a site to be so full of scammers. Practically every single female I've made contact with on there is almost certainly a dating/internet scammer. There may be some genuine ones on there but few and far between I think. Some of the scammers are very sneaky...they try and get you onto email or Whatssap quickly and slowly try to get info about you to build up a picture and who knows what from there - maybe ID theft/fraud or extorting money, asking for loans etc, it's a classic method. Do not go near this or just be really careful if you want to try it. It's a shame they do not vet users properly, surely can't be that difficult?

Happn - AVOID! A complete rip off with zero customer service!

AVOID! A complete rip off with zero customer service!

I paid the Premium Subscription on Friday, 16th December and 4 days later I still don't have access to any of the Premium facilities in the app. I tried to contact the Happn Customer Service but they only replied with two automated emails asking for details, which I provided 4 days ago and had no reply whatsoever. I can only advise people to avoid using the app and definitely do not pay Happn any money as they will rip you off!

Fake profile dating site!

Fake profile dating site!

Happn (or add Cr and replace the H) as this is amongst the worst dating sites online.

Absolutely full of fake profiles with fraudsters phishing for information, the 'customer support' on Happn does nothing to prevent this daily abusive behaviour on the site!

Despite numerous messages to customer support, with multiple requests to remove fake profiles Happn does NOTHING to resolve the problem.

DO NOT TRUST HAPPN!

This site will inundate you with profiles that simply do not exist! There is no customer support and no user protection.

AVOID!

Would give zero stars if I could

Would give zero stars if I could. The app shows you profiles that you havent even walked past which is the entire concept. Instead it pushes you profiles over 50km away and its impossible to make this stop. The customer support don even care either they just say its a new feature. They also use an algorithm to empty your pockets and this also makes the boost feature useless and also the monthly subscription is useless. do NOT pay for this. They scam you. Just as all the other dating app sites they pioritize money and dont give a sjit about user experience. Good luck Happn, this is not sustainable.I will never pay a dime more for you

Total waste of time

Total waste of time. Do not pay for any of the extras. I’ve never seen so many fake profiles on a dating app! You’ll likely match with a fake profile that is hundreds of miles away from you or a bot which will send you strangely constructed messages to lure you into a possible scam. An awful app. Just don’t bother.

This is probably proof of the dead internet theory

I’m convinced this app is full of women using it to get an ego boost. A bit like hot or not a while ago, not sure if there still going. If not that, then it’s full of bots.

I suppose there’s nothing wrong with the former. As long as you’re not here actually looking for love or something. I’ve been on this app since it’s inception a decade or so ago.

Not met even one woman, nada, zip zero. Even though I pop on only every now & then as I do with tinder, bumble, etc. I’ve met loads of women & probably aliens 👽 lols. But zip zero on happn.

Make of this what you will. It probably won’t be posted anyways so … whatever.
