Their Couriers take zero care of your doors!
Firstly I was told my doors were arriving on a particular day, so I had arranged time off work to accept the delivery as, at close to £800 worth of doors, they needed to be signed for. Then the courier sent me a text at 9:30am (whilst i was in work) saying they would be delivered that morning !?!
I immediately rang Happy Doors customer service and got through to Megan Cowley (who by the way is the only thing that was good about my experience with Happy Doors). She attempted to stop the delivery but could not get hold of the driver of their 3rd party delivery courier (we will come back to this). I said i was concerned that they would just leave them on the front or down the side of the house and it was raining so the MDF doors would get damp and swell ruining them as the packaging was unlikely to be waterproof. "She said they can't deliver if you are not is as they have to be signed for".
Anyway - I got home after work and to my shock their chosen courier had disregarded the instructions and dumped the doors down the side of the house! The packaging was in a shocking state, multiple holes right through it to the surface of the doors and only 1 of the 3 doors was not ruined.
I then had to take pictures and send them off to Happy Doors who agreed and said they would re-send and expedite the order so i didn't have to wait another 4 weeks (like i had the first time).
I suggested that, for the price of ther doors, it would be better to deliver them using their own vans, they presumably don't have any as they went back to the same lousy courier.
A few days later, I got an email off Megan to say they were coming in 2 days, I took a day off work (unpaid @over £150 cost to me) to receive them. The same guy arrived (he was on the ring doorbell from the first time so I had seen his face before) and started to unpack. I could immediately see that 2 of the 3 packages were again badly damaged right through to the door faces and that the plastic film over the doors was also damaged meaning it was highly likely the door below that was too - oh no not again! I asked him how they had gotten into this state again and if he would accept something delivered to him in this state and why he'd delivered them last time without me being in?
In his broken English he blamed his own warehouse people - he said "they didn't care about the packages". I asked him why he even let them put damaged packages onto his truck - he shrugged his shoulders. I signed for the doors as "damaged" and got back onto Happy Doors to let them know it had happened again. I was planning to cancel the order and get a refund as this was just getting ridiculous. God knows how they make any money if they have to keep re-supplying the doors. Then once I had done that I put them in the garage and did a detailed inspection to take pics. BY A MIRACLE the scuff in the plastic coating had not gone through the surface below it and the doors were actually intact. I got back onto Megan and gave her the good news.
Now this was not them doing a good job second time around. It was PURE LUCK. The packages were badly damaged and the plastic on the surface was ripped - by all rights, the doors should not have survived and I'd be having to wait another week and more importantly, TAKE ANOTHER UNPAID DAY OFF WORK.
For this reason, I will never use Happy Doors again, I can't be taking multiple unpaid days off because they can't get things delivered in one piece. They need to start using their own people to deliver their goods in my opinion, that way they would be in the hands of people who do care about the condition they arrive in. Megan Cowley was an absolute Star - I actually felt sorry for her as she was clearly surrounded by a sea of incompetence.

We are so sorry that what should have been a straightforward, exciting delivery turned into such a frustrating ordeal (twice!). There’s no dressing this up — the courier service let you down badly, and in doing so, they let us down too. We completely understand how infuriating it must have been to take time off work, only to be met with damaged goods dumped on your property — especially after being assured that wouldn’t happen.
You’ve been incredibly patient, and we don’t take that for granted. We’re especially grateful to Megan for being the one bright spot in all of this — she really is a star, and she’ll be chuffed to know she earned your praise, even under the circumstances.
You're absolutely right: this isn’t how it should be. We’ve already escalated this with our courier partner - Your suggestion about using our own delivery network is being looked at seriously, and your story is a clear reason why we need to change.
We're relieved your doors ended up being intact by some miracle — but luck shouldn’t have to factor into it. We’re sorry that it did, and even sorrier that we lost your future business over it.

Ordering process & pricing on the website not as transparent as they could have been.
Adding extra on for hinge cut outs & asking customers regarding the hinge opening (left to right, right to left) without any explanatory guide is not good transparency.

Just to clarify — on the ordering page, there is a guide you can click that explains how to check your hinge positions and determine door handing. We’ve also put together videos on our blog that walk through the process, step-by-step. That said, we hear you loud and clear: if that’s not obvious to customers, then it’s something we need to improve.
Off the back of feedback like yours, we’re adding a clearer link to call us directly if anything’s unclear — because sometimes, nothing beats a quick chat to get it sorted.

Amazing Megan
My point of contact throughout the whole process of changing my wardrobe doors was with Megan.
Megan has been amazing and took her time to ensure that I was confident with the correct sizes, colour and finish.
There was some throwing backwards and forwards with ideas and Megan ensured I was happy.
There was a slight hitch with one if the doors and Megan dealt with it straight away rectifying the problem and ensuring she resolved the problem from her side.
The finishing of my bedroom is fabulous and I'm really pleased I used happy doors. The cost of the doors was reasonable and I would recommend happy doors.

Goods not delivered after a month!
Ordered around a thousand pounds worth of replacement cupboard doors on 1st October after confirming via web chat that delivery would be up to 14 days.
After hearing nothing, I chased for an update on 15th and was told they were being dispatched that day and delivered in 48 hours. Advised I would receive tracking information when available.
Heard nothing further and then a courier turned up on 17th with 1 item out of 20 doors ordered. Courier company have not scanned any additional items so likely they were never dispatched.
Tried calling multiple times, left voicemails, web chats etc and all unanswered.
I then emailed customer services who told me to speak to the courier myself. After escalating to a manager, I was advised they would remake the order and dispatch again.
No proactive communication from them at all, constantly having to chase myself every few days. Now at twice the promised lead time and still no update on the order or when I can expect it to be delivered. Have requested a refund and will re-order with another company. Kitchen reno pushed back by over a month because they've wasted my time so much. Would never ever recommend.

There’s no excuse for the delays, the lack of communication, or the fact that you had to keep chasing us. That’s not how we aim to operate, and it’s clear we let you down at every stage. While we did try to put things right by remaking the order, we know that doesn't undo the inconvenience, the time lost, or the stress caused — especially with no proactive updates from us. That doesn't help you now, but your experience has genuinely helped improve things for others, and we do thank you for that.

Great Company to deal with, Good quality product
I was advised by my brother to try Happy Doors for replacement kitchen doors in a rental property, as he had used them for the same reason. I rang directly and spoke to Megan in the office who sent me colour swatches and helped me with sizings etc, which was really good. Nothing too much trouble. I eventually ordered 38 doors and they are exactly as I wanted. Good quality, turned up when promised, nothing to fault re customer service or product quality. Nice to deal with a Company that does what it says it will do. I will be ordering more for another property requiring kitchen fronts. Great Company to deal with.

Great service and quality kitchen doors!
I recently ordered just over 15 kitchen doors and drawer fronts and have to say I was very impressed with the quality and also the service (from Megan) along the way. I initially ordered samples online and I followed up with an email to check they were on their way – which they were and arrived promptly soon after.
I then placed the full order online and was contacted to double-check on a finish of one of the doors. Shortly after, I was notified of the delivery date and all turned up on time and in perfect condition. Each item was very carefully packed with plenty of protective bits around the doors.
The doors are now fitted in the kitchen and look great!
I would highly recommend Happy Doors to anyone looking to replace old ones.

Bought made to measure replacement doors and drawer fronts end panels, plinths and kick boards at a excellence price and the price did not reflect on quality as very good made , every thing fro start to finish was great customer service as had a couple of hiccups but was quickly resolved by matt .
