It is easy to get in, but to get out it’s difficult! They keep charging you even after you announce you are leaving.
The 35 min promise does not apply most of the times, because of the cues. Disappointing overall and not worth 100 euros a month!

I was enrolled to a program after a trial session the club manager was very charming at first offered many things of course I was tempted . Overall the facility and the staff were very nice except the fact that I had to stop for financial reasons then I had noticed within the end of first month . Next day I met the same manager and he told me that I have no obligations at all as it is within 1 month trial period … left happily … until I received the payment to be done for 1 month … was not happy about it as it was not what he said but after all he confirmed that is a 1 month notice period I must pay due to contract terms and conditions .
Fine , I settled it … few weeks later received an other payment … saying that this is and that date they received my cancellation which was not the day I was there in person … therefore end if contract is a month later must pay again …
You call and send email endlessly their administration and finance has zero communication and costumer service level … I have sent back screenshots about the conversation with a manager , confirming the above statement that the previous payment was already the cancellation period … waiting for answer because clearly I am not going to pay again .
But as I can see below reviews it is not the first time , they really like to play with people money !
Be careful how you want to end your contract with them !!! Very unprofessional , insufficient administration and no one is available , very difficult to get answers , wonder why ???!!!🥴

I got introduced to an amazing fitness club called Happy Bodies located in Eindhoven, NL in the month of Nov'25. I have already completed a month there. I must admit it has been an outstanding experience starting from the intake process, customized exercise and training under experienced fitness trainers. They have world class fitness equipments which track and monitor your fitness progress during each exercise steps. Most importantly I liked the openness of the fitness trainers. They always guide you to adhere to the right process. They first understand your need and accordingly design your fitness routine. Thus, you see the progress withing first 4 weeks itself. I am very happy by enrolling to Happy Bodies and trust me you will be too. last but not the least a big shoutout for the fitness trainers Bart, Tom, Fleur, Eline. They are excellent in their job. Worst is the word I can describe about this place. They are scammers beware . They put money in front of people. I had any month cancellation membership but they never informed me that it requires one month notice before cancelling. When I had personal reasons to shift my place I said I want to cancel the membership but they kept send me invoice for 2 months which I am not part of the gym worst worst and they just want money rather than help you achieve your goals.

What a terrible and very customer-unfriendly 'gym.' What a bad company this is; customers are treated like dirt. They made me pay for months for nothing while I had a hernia. Not once did they send an email or even call to ask why I was paying but never came anymore. They are so unfriendly to customers that they refuse to do anything about it afterward. In fact, they stubbornly insist on an additional month of cancellation notice. What a bunch of dirty scammers; you wouldn't want to work there. It's also a really bad gym that is way too crowded, with limited opening hours. It's dirty, and the staff is unprofessional. They are also very expensive for what they offer. I now train for €20 more at a much better gym. Here, it's not so crowded, and they have a much better Circle Training. This also includes unlimited access to a lovely wellness area and swimming pool. The opening hours are much more flexible and therefore better. Never again un-Happy Bodies!!!

Once you have a contract it's impossible to stop it, even if you get injured.

I’ve been training at Happy Bodies Almere Poort for over a year now, and it’s been a life-changing journey. I started my weight loss journey here, and with the help of the amazing coaches – Kevin, Maas, and Quinten – I’ve made real progress.

One thing I really like is the InBody scan. It helps track not just weight, but also muscle, fat, and other body stats. It’s super motivating to see the changes over time and really shows how far I’ve come.

The coaches are always supportive, motivating, and give great advice. The gym itself is clean, modern, and has a positive atmosphere.

If you’re looking for a place to get fit with real guidance and support, I 100% recommend Happy Bodies Almere Poort!

Signed up at happy bodies as someone who doesn’t “love” gyms, very reluctant to start. However from the moment I walked in the door it has been nothing but a pleasure. Tim was the one who convinced me over the phone to come in, GO Tim! All the staff are friendly, approachable and give their very best to all clients, focusing on each individual and their specific needs. Honestly my favourite part is how “homely” it feels and that their equipment is super advanced I believe it can help many people in need of different outcomes. However I have to say Happy Bodies Almere Poort’s biggest benefit to anyone as a client is the team itself and their dedication to helping all customers reach their goals. Big thanks to Kevin who has been amazing, he is very supportive and always motivating you to reach higher and go further!!

One star is too much for this place.
To start with, no contract is shared with costumers when we subscribe.
Then you are told that you can CANCEL the membership in case of illness and pregnancy. But don't trust it al all!!! Now I am pregnant, sent all the documents requested by post (maybe they ask by post to avoid email evidence...) and they can't cancel but they can FREEZE the membership and keep on charging. I don't want to freeze it!!
Besides that, also don't trust that first month is free when you do a one year membership. They will charge you in the end.
Long story short, please look for another place to exercise. Happy Bodies is not trustful and it doesn't act in good faith towards its customers.

It’s impossible to cancel the membership. Due to pregnancy I had to cancel my membership and, even sending them the requested letter with evidence, I am still being charged every month (3 months after cancellation
That’s the type of stress I was not looking for during pregnancy.
It’s important to say that Happy Bodies confirmed the cancellation and even though is charging. I am wondering if I will ever have my money back and if they will charge the forever.

So, piece of advice fro everyone. Don’t joing Happy Bodies.

This all looks like a scam. They don't tell you the terms of the contract and don't offer to read it! Even if you didn't sign an annual contract, but pay every month, it's not that easy to stop your membership in the club (they'll charge you for the next month). They charge for 1 extra month "notice period", include freezes and other nonsense to hang the maximum number of payments on you. In case of non-payment, they threaten collectors. How I regret that I got involved with them!

If you value your money, time, and sanity, stay far away from HappyBodies. In my opinion, this gym is a predatory business that exploits its customers and disregards consumer rights. They caused us significant financial and emotional distress by:
FALSE ADVERTISING
We signed up for what they called a "flexible monthly membership" (Flex 1mnd). They charged us for two extra months after we stopped using the gym. How is this “flexible” or “1 month”?
DECEPTIVE STAFF
The staff lied about their terms and conditions. They falsely claimed we could pause our membership while traveling and misrepresented the renewal period. Either they are grossly untrained or intentionally misleading.
BLOCKING CANCELLATION
Seems to me that HappyBodies has a deliberate strategy to obstruct cancellations and extract additional payments. Despite following their instructions to cancel online, returning our armbands in person, and receiving verbal confirmation, they later claimed our cancellation was invalid. Then they demanded an in-person signature and only after much effort told us that a signed letter in email would work too. Even then, they refused to honor our original cancellation date, forcing us to pay hundreds of euros for months we didn’t use.
SCAMMING IS BUSINESS-AS-USUAL
Looks to me that HappyBodies’ business model is based on trapping customers with hidden terms, obstructive cancellation policies, and fake “flexible” memberships. If you’ve been scammed too, report them to consumer protection!

HappyBodies Gym has been an absolute nightmare to deal with. My partner and I canceled our memberships in September, returned our armbands, and followed every instruction provided by their staff. They assured us we were "done," and confirmed we only needed to submit the cancellation online, which we did—yet they’re still charging us!
HappyBodies continued to bill us for months after we stopped using the gym, citing some vague "signature requirement" they never mentioned. Now they’ve escalated these “outstanding” invoices to a debt collector, so we might be forced to fight this in court. I find their business practices unethical, misleading, and seem designed to entrap customers in endless fees.
If you’re considering joining HappyBodies, save yourself the stress and avoid this place at all costs!

Promising this and that, than charging you extra, there is no such thing as one month flex + month free, either you cancel too early or too late according to them, they will charge two months plus some extra for some additional BS they come up with

What a nightmare to terminate your membership, it’s impossible.

I’ve got a knee surgery and informed them right afterwards that I am not able to exercise.
They activated my membership and kept on sending invoices.
They disrespected my medical certificate.

Their customer service is not customer friendly and only available till 13:00 o’clock.

DON’T BECOME A MEMBER HERE!
IT WILL SAVE YOU A LOT OF MONEY AND STRESS.

At the beginning they will promise anything, but as soon as you start paying money they don't care about you. They make you pay even for their own mistakes.

Was great training place, helpful friendly staff. However although I finished my contract in Oct and cancel my membership in November they are still making me pay until Jan so Its about 140 extra euros they are pocketing for no real reason . I find this shameful. So be aware and don't get ripped off.

stay away as soon as you can, they will try everything to scam you and take your money. Please be warned.
