Great wee site. Bought myself my first proper grinder and it was delivered super fast. It even came with some beans!
Unfortunately I had a few teething issues - more my inexperience than anything else - and they answered my email so quickly and resolved everything for me.
Great price, I'll certainly be back for more coffee equipment!

I have been using happy donkey for several years now and cannot fault their service or product. Even during COVID crisis delivery has been one or two days. When phoning to make enquiry about an item I was sent two free of charge. The still produce my favourite coffee the Italian blend. Long my they continue

I discovered Happy Donkey quite a few years ago after a family member was getting coffee beans from here.

I got the chance to try a coffee from the ‘Italian blend’ beans and it is truly something else! - never going back to shop bought stale beans again!

The coffee is exceptional I don’t claim to be a coffee expert but currently I own a Sage Barista Pro and these beans are a match made for this machine I believe! Although saying this I have tried the other coffee blends on the site my favourite personally is the Italian blend.

Since I have been switching machines and ordering on an me off but all the while whenever I have ordered from Happy Donkey they have always delivered speedily and I’ve never had a late delivery.

Scott will and go out of his way given the chance to help where ever he can, he’s helped me with setting up a grinder in the past when I had a different machine. advice and tamping equipment - excellent customer service and knowledgeable too!

As for other reviews saying that carriage is expensive, it is not although I usually order enough to warrant this carriage cost anyway at one time but I still don’t think it is unreasonable for a carriage that typically arrives the next working day when some other retailers charge a lot more for this kind of service.

I absolutely love this company! Particularly as the wonderful Scott has just restored my Iberital coffee grinder (bought from Happy Donkey many years ago) to health and proper functioning. It was my fault the grinder 'died' as I'd been cleaning it for years with white rice - thanks to Scott's gentle remonstrances I now know better...!

If you love decent coffee and want to indulge in all things coffee-related, Happy Donkey is a must-go place.

Scott dug us out of a hole nearly fourteen years ago after we were badly let down by another supplier. He personally made sure the new equipment was up and running perfectly. From that day until now Happy Donkey have, without fail, provided exemplary support. The thing about Scott is he will go the extra mile if you give him the chance, top man. Recommended and then some.

So, Happy Donkey?

A company I buy from on a regular basis.
The product is great.
The service is great.
Communication is great.

If there were six stars to give, then I would give six stars.

I have had the odd hiccup with carriers over the many years I have done business with Happy Donkey and Scott is very responsive and helpful.

You should definitely consider Happy Donkey as a regular supplier.
