Excellent customer service!

I bought a fairly large and very heavy bookcase unit (bookshelves above cupboard base unit) and requested a two man delivery because it was obvious that it would be needed. Communication from Hans re the details of delivery and subsequent information was first class and the unit was delivered by two great delivery men who placed it where we wanted it and took away all the packaging. Helpful, informative customer service and careful delivery is increasingly rare these days so we are very pleased with Harley and Lola.

The furniture arrived in timescale…

The furniture arrived in timescale stated and was extremely well packaged, so absolutely no issues on unpacking. The console table is as advertised and looks great.

Poor communication. Did get a refund

Waited over 2 weeks on delivery for the Baumhaus urban chic furniture (3 pieces) but H&L missed the agreed delivery date and didn't inform us why there were so many delays. We even spoke to Hans on the phone prior to ordering to check that everything was in stock (which it was) and had a good sales pitch on the quality of service from the company.

The company didn't respond to phone calls, DMs on Instagram or the chat function on the website. I can only give 2 stars as I got a refund. Its a big shame as I want to support smaller businesses but there was no transparency on what's actually going on with the ops side of the business.

Purchased a coffee table

Purchased a coffee table. Unpacked to find it COVERED in mould. The packaging it came was covered in tape coz box was coming apart. The table looks NOTHING like the advertisement. At all. What stain there was,was patchy and in places non existent. Company wouldn't entertain a refund or exchange coz we couldn't send it back in original packaging. Promised to get back to me in two to five days. Didn't happen. They honestly could not care less. Considering my options.

We are sorry about the mould that was discovered on your table.

As discussed, you did purchase it in April and only opened the box in July ( 3 months later) and we do not know how this box was stored for this time period, as per our terms, you had 28 days to open and review the item.

We did offer you a discount, exchange or full refund which you did not accept, our terms do state that it must be in the original packaging regardless of condition but we also offered you to use other suitable packaging for the return.

You did not respond to our last email and the case was closed.

Goods not received, No Comms

Table due for delivery today.
Contacted Harley & Lola when their courier Kinetic Solutions failed to send delivery details.
Harley & Lola can't be reached by a phone, only a chatbot! Only then did they inform me it won't be delivered and they still don't know when.
Took the day off work for this.
Appalling lack of service.

Will update if it ever turns up or how they handle refunds if this isn't resolved.

Terrible company

Terrible customer service. Two long baumhaus Urban Chic benches I bought were defective and not even the same in design. The replacement benches they sent me after one month more waiting were not even the item I ordered in the first place. The £40 reparation the gave me did not even cover my travel I needed to make it home for the second delivery!! Shocking company and customer service. Do not use this company!!!

Hammock Stand

I bought an Amazonas Olymp Hammock Stand which is sturdy & makes a perfect siesta spot. I know it is good quality because I bought the same stand over 12 years ago (from a different company) and it lasted through all weathers, unprotected, until this year. Harley & Lola delivered quickly and were competitive on price.

Baumhaus Urban Chic Collection

Urban Chic Collection. Two pieces bought and clear communication from the start. Free delivery to Scotland which is exceptional. Their site lists items they have actually in stock and if it isn't they have a "SOLD OUT" right next to the item which is a damn sight more than even the best of them out there do. No hesitation buy from H&L. A credit to the industry.

Fantastic company .

Fantastic company .
I bought x 6 leather dining chairs which are stunning & lovely quality .
However I ordered them late weds & had No dining chairs , spoke to Harley who said due to it being Easter weekend it was unlikely the chairs would arrive . However he really went above & beyond & pulled out all the stops for me ; so that my chairs arrived Thursday ! In time for Easter & now I have some where for my family to sit .
Was so worried we’d hv to use camping chairs ! It was very kind of Harley & the company to get the order delivered super quick . I am
Very impressed with this company & will order other things from them . Already hv my eye on the matching pouffe !

Artisan Verandah Media Unit

Very disappointing!

Very disappointing!
Bought a piece which arrived with a defective door, contacted customer services and they promised an exchange within a couple weeks. Sounded very good but they were not good on their word, three weeks go by and I wasn’t contacted to book my delivery, I had to again contact customer services and they said I have to wait now 10 to 16 weeks because they didn’t predict the piece was gonna sell out.
It’s very disappointing that I had to wait for days and no one bothered telling me about the issue, they didn’t prioritised a customer, and who knows when they will exchange my item. I will post an update when the issue is resolved but as for today I cannot recommend the store.

Unfortunately, the item went out of stock between the time the replacement order was placed and delivery scheduled due to logistics office that were closed for the festive period, the replacement was delivered 8 weeks later.

Highly Recommend H & L - High Quality Product and Brilliant Service!

Ordered an Oak TV Cabinet from Harley & Lola recently for a new property ahead and they were very helpful with pushing the delivery back to when I got access to the property. The product was high quality and looks beautiful. They were also very helpful when the delivery company hadn't done the two-man delivery I had paid extra.

I highly recommend them for all your furniture needs! I will definitely be going back for any other furniture I need.

We have ordered a TV stand

We have ordered a TV stand, 3 side tables, a dining table and all arrived so quickly. The company and delivery company kept us well informed of our order. I was silly and ordered the wrong colour dining chairs and they are going to kindly exchange them. So easy and there was no hassle. Their stuff is beautiful!! Really nice quality furniture and unique. I love it. Thank you and a pleasure to shop with you.
