Do not buy solid gold jewellery here

Do not buy solid gold jewellery here. Ridiculously over priced and not as described! Sent me a chain that was half of width that was advertised, contacted customer service and was told this was not true, they don’t falsely advertise and no other customers had said this and they don’t even stock a chain that size. I literally sent a photo with a ruler and they ignored it and just told me to return. No apology whatsoever. I weighed the necklace and it was worth £50 not the £400 it was. This is why they don’t put the weights!!

Edit— you showed me a screenshot of a 1mm silver chain on you’re website, how is this proof the chain I received was 2mm? I literally sent a photo with a ruler, and on top of this I went ahead and purchased another 2mm chain with the exact same ball links from another retailer and the links were nearly double the size and measured correctly at 2mm. So yes you are falsely advertising items and selling chains that are not as described and are extremely overpriced and underweight. Standing by my original statement, don’t buy from here!

We are very sorry that you were unhappy with the ordered chain. The chain in question is a 2mm chain as our customer service agent explained to you. He also showed you a comparison of a similar chain which is 1mm in dimensions listed and is accurate according to industry standards. However, they may appear more or less smaller in actual measurements depending on the design and style as all jewellery dimensions vary quite a lot according to their style. We never knowingly falsely advertise or market anything that is not how we operate and always remain true and accurate as best we can. We regularly sell and have sold many chains in this 2mm style and have never had any issues or complaints from any customers but it's fine and understandable if you have felt that this wasn't true to size its why we have a returns policy in place should you wish to return your item for an exchange or refund which you have already done. Again please accept our sincerest apologies.

Never again

Order earings paid £225 they were a gift. Arrived on time but 1 has blemish. I will not be ordering anything from Harper Kendall again.

Extremely disappointed in my experience…

Extremely disappointed in my experience ordering from Harper Kendall. I placed an order on Nov 26 for a necklace and a bracelet. I am from the US and made sure to give the package ample time to arrive by Christmas. I was guaranteed multiple times by customer service representatives that the order would be delivered by Christmas. After noticing that the package was no longer in transit after December 7th (stuck in a post office in Romford), I had reached out multiple times for assistance, and each time was assured the package would be here by Christmas. They even went so far as to tell me they had reached out to the post office and it was no longer there and should be arriving at my door any day. It is now January 1, I still have not received my order and I have had to place my order in dispute (which I have made them aware of). The only reason they receive 2 stars is their live chat is efficient and you don't need to wait to speak with a human. Otherwise, very disappointing experience. I would not recommend Harper Kendall for your luxury jewelry needs, especially if you are international.

Very sorry that you've had this poor experience with us but we are not at fault in this instance as your package was stuck with Royal Mail due to the long postal strikes we've had here. Regarding updates on its progress, we can only go by what Royal Mail tells us in terms of tracking and we relay that information to the customer should any issue arise. We ship many orders to the U.S. and many more countries around the world so Very rarely do we ever get problems like this so this is unfortunate that your parcel was never received on time, especially since you needed this for Christmas. We sincerely apologise for this trouble and inconvenience and in future will make sure issues like this do not happen again.

Poor after care after order

Confusing information, made an order then got the email to track the delivery (ROUTE delivery link) followed this and it says the item is in America, informed harper Kendall and there reply “we don’t use ROUTE we use Royal Mail” no email from royal mail like you do with every other website that uses Royal Mail, finally got a tracking number for this.

Of course you will be thinking it’s coming from America as that what the tracker said that harper Kendall sent me.

Why send me a link for that if that’s not the proper tracker to check on the delivery progress ?

I order online regularly and no other company do this.

Its very unfair for you to leave a negative review when you were clearly told by our customer service staff that we are a London based U.K company and this is also clearly mentioned on our website.The Tracking software doesn't come online and start working until your tracking numbers are issued so you can't use that unti then. The software shows America by default because the sofware just works that way and can't be used until you recieve your Tracking Numbers also confirmed and mentioned to you by our customer service staff.

Cheap overpriced jewellery

Purchased earrings from Harper Kendall for £150, what a mistake.

The was no product picture on their website with them in an ear and when they arrived they were significantly smaller than expected. When actually picking up the earrings they are very light and flimsy and it wouldn’t take much to snap them.

We have contacted harper Kendall to be told that by law they cannot complete a refund as the earrings may have been worn, this is absolute rubbish. Any expensive jewellery you are able to try on in any jewellers, and I think £150 is expensive for a pair of earrings.

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY. You will be able to get lovely equivalent from any small business on Etsy for a third of the price.

Sorry about your problem with your Earrings but the size and dimensions are clearly written on the product description on our website so its down to the customer before placing the order to check and make sure its exactly what they require and if unsure its always advisable to contact customer services and ask any question about the quality, size and proportions to avoid any problems like this. In terms of a return and refund as you were told we do not accept any body worn jewellery that requires piercings as its a health and safety issue which we have to adhere to by law as do most jewellers, had it been any other piece of jewellery we would have no issues accepting your return back for a full refund.

Absolute ‘RIP OFF’

RIP OFF! Do NOT buy from this company. I purchased earings for £149 for my daughter to wear at her wedding. Harper Kendall have refused to exchange them and also refused to acknowledge that the identical range of all their jewellery products are available on eBay for a fraction of the price. The identical earrings being £60. Harper Kendall claim alternative pieces are substandard but this is absolutely NOT the case.

We have explained and as clearly highlighted in our Returns Policy that that Earrings and other Jewellery that require body piercings to be worn are not eligible for returns, exhange or refunds this is standard practice across the jewellery sector for health and safety reason so we cannot break that code. Had it been any other piece of jewellery we would happily accept returns exchanges or refunds as we routinely do every day for many of our happy customers and clients. In terms of the identical items found on ebay we have no control over what the competition charges for the same or similar items but you are likely to find items for any product cheaper elsewhere if you shop around but in many cases these products are heavily discounted on ebay due to the fact that they are seconds or have minor cosmetic damage or are exchanges or returns and or are unboxed. Our products are quality checked and are 100% brand new and come beautifully boxed and packaged.

They responded to my queries quickly, even late in the evening. They sent out my item securely and quickly and even gift wrapped it.
