We thoroughly enjoy coming to the sessions each week. Sophie makes the environment very relaxed, where everyone can just enjoy the time with their babies. Sophie also makes it very personalised, ensuring to get to know each parent and their baby. We look forward to the sessions each week and are glad to be a member of the Hartbeeps family. For anyone nervous about attending baby groups, please don’t be! Sophie will put you at ease as soon as you walk in the door :-)

Hartbeeps sessions are fantastic, but Sophie makes them even better. Her warmth, energy, enthusiasm and care are so evident in every session, and you know you are guaranteed a wonderful time with your little one when you are there.
My son, now 2yrs, has loved attending from 6months old and Sophie has helped his confidence grow through every stage. I am amazed by how Sophie is able to make both my son, and me and my husband, feel so individually seen in every session, she is so aware of every personality in the space and ensures that every child (and adult) feels seen, included and special.
The combination of props, costumes, music and appropriate themes make it such an enjoyable space for little ones and adults and I treasure those early days when I was given a safe space with great advice and ideas for engaging with my little one.
Our whole family adore Hartbeeps and Sophie and we would recommend to anyone and everyone!!

Sophie is a wonderful enthusiastic instructor with a clear passion for what she does. The sessions are welcoming, engaging and professional, I love that they were structured with educational elements of signing etc, you really see what you’re paying for compared to more free flow ‘sensory’ classes. As a first time mum who was unsure of her new place in the world, I felt welcome from the first time we walked through the door and was genuinely sad to leave when my maternity leave ended. Sophie and Hartbeeps gave me structure and confidence when I needed it the most but felt it the least and for that I will always be truly grateful.

This is the best class for your babies or toddlers. Sophie is incredible she puts so much time and effort into her classes. She knows every parent and child’s name which is amazing I honestly have no idea how she does it.

Sophie makes everyone feel welcome. The classes themselves are great with a new theme every week and my little one gets more and more confident each week. We love going to Hartbeeps and highly recommend anyone with babies or toddlers gives it a go.

Sophie is absolutely incredible! She is kind, caring, and full of energy, and she brings so much joy to every single session. From the very beginning, when our little one was just tiny, Sophie created such a welcoming and nurturing environment for both babies and parents.

Now that our daughter is nearly 2, we can truly see the impact Sophie has had. She has helped build her confidence so much — encouraging her to explore, interact, and grow in her own time. The sessions are always engaging, fun, and thoughtfully put together, and Sophie’s enthusiasm is completely infectious.

Sophie makes the classes fun, worthwhile and great for the babies; but informal enough that parents can enjoy themselves too! Our little one is three months, and loves the hour of sensory play and music /massage etc. She’s always knackered afterwards in a lively way- would definitely recommend for anyone in the local areas

My son Alfie has been going to Sophie’s class since he was just a few weeks old and it’s so beautiful to watch him grow through all the pictures I’ve taken from his class and the outfits he wears! We love going to the class, not only is it super baby lead so I don’t feel awkward at all if he cries or needs anything but the activities and different themes each week are amazing! You can tell Sophie really puts in a lot of effort and love to create a wonderful experience and environment.

Each week Sophie sets a new theme for the session. The class is lovely, all the same kind of ages, my son absolutely loves the class each week. We get into a routine, we have started to make friends and it’s just a lovely atmosphere.

Having been coming to Sophie’s class since my little one was just a few months old we have finally graduated 2+ years later!
Sophie’s classes have been the highlight to start our week and my little one loves all the themes and thought that goes into making the class so engaging. We know all the words to the songs and we will really miss our weekly Sophie fix. Sophie is amazing at what she does and makes each child (and adult) always feel so welcome. We will miss our Monday mornings very very much!

Amazing classes - loads of fun, different movements, signing, singing and sensory fun each time. My little one loves these classes and Sophie is so engaging and welcoming. We always leave buzzing with joy!

This class is lovely! Me and my 5 month old had a great time, each week has a different theme, the songs are fun and catchy, and the class has a nice amount of structure mixed with time to socialise with other mums and let the babies explore their senses 🩷

Hartbeeps is a fantastic class and Sophie is wonderful! Every week is a different theme with lots of interesting props to explore. We love the listening song with tap tap sticks the best! We travel 40 minutes each way for this very rewarding class and it is definitely worth it!

[Back Story Preamble: Pre-lockdown, I tried Hartbeeps at another (now closed down) provider elsewhere in Devon with my older child. She hated it, we hated it. We were glad she outgrew the ability to attend. We thought this would be the end of our Hartbeeps journey.
When we had our second baby, we wanted to try whatever was local, and Hartbeeps was the only available provision, so we took a deep breath and applied (again, a different provider in Devon). And our youngest really liked it. 3 months in, the owner decided to leave the franchise so we were left looking round the South West for a replacement Hartbeeps provider. Cue Sophie! We found a rare, coveted space at Tavistock and gave it a go.
L went from liking Hartbeeps to absolutely loving it, requesting to go to "Happy House" several times a week and throwing herself into it, loving everything from bubbles to Tidy Time.
Parents and children alike are made to feel so very comfortable and wanted-to-be-there. The children love the regular routine elements of the startup of the session, and enjoy the changing nature and variety of costumes and toys for each themed week. We travel 45 minutes each way for Sophie's Hartbeeps sessions because they're worth it.
Having experienced the Hartbeeps formula early on with someone who was just going through the motions, we can see how much Sophie cares about the children and the activities, making it so much more than Another Franchise and allowing the children to grow and express themselves within her own personalised framework. And, as an added bonus, my previous Hartbeeps-hating older child now looks forward to inset days where she doesn't have to go to school but gets a rare opportunity to come to Hartbeeps - Sophie's sessions have converted her!

We absolutely love Sophie's classes, came with my now 2.5 year old when she was a baby and happily returned with my gorgeous boy this year.
Sophie is genuinely invested in baby (and mums wellbeing) and creates a safe and fun environment, super important as it can be so nerve wracking joining groups when you're a new mum.

Sophie’s classes are brilliant. We started when my little boy was 6 weeks old and have loved every single class. Every class is filled with fun and stimulating activities for babies. Sophie makes you feel so welcome and creates a friendly atmosphere.

We just asked Sophie to run a hartbeeps ‘wild one’ first birthday party for us. It was absolutely fantastic! Sophie put in so much effort and all of the parents and babies had fun!! I would 100% reccomend for anybody wanting to organise a special first birthday. We have been inundated with messages saying how much everybody enjoyed it.

Thank you Sophie, our little boy will be continuing to go to hartbeeps next term with grandma and I will be gutted to be missing out at work!!

I had an amazing time at Sophie’s class today! As a dad who doesn’t usually attend these kinds of activities, I was a bit unsure at first, but Sophie immediately made me feel welcome. She introduced me to other parents, created a warm and inclusive atmosphere, and led a fantastic session from start to finish.

The setup was excellent, and Sophie’s enthusiasm and energy were truly infectious. It’s clear she genuinely loves what she does, and that made all the difference. Most importantly, our little boy had a great time—he was fully engaged, learning, and able to express himself in such a fun and supportive environment. Highly impressed!

My daughter and I love coming to Sophie’s HartBeeps classes. Sophie is very good at what she does and interacts with both parents and babies amazingly, remembering everyone’s names too which is very impressive. Every week is different and keeps the babies entertained. Would highly recommend.

I cannot recommend Heartbeep's classes enough. From day 1 we felt very welcomed by Sophie. She's fantastic and always has a beautiful smile on!😊 Sophie made us feel comfortable as it was our first time at the classes.
My LO was a bit fussy during the classes but I never felt left out.
