A huge thank you for everything that Shannon and her colleagues have done to make my brother's passing such a special and fitting experience. The telephone calls we had before his passing; Hartys' attendance at the time of his death; the support, advice and care in the following weeks; and everything about his funeral have been outstanding and unlike anything we have previously experienced. It has been a pleasure having Hartys involved with us at an otherwise sad time.

Hartys of Chester were recommended to us to help assist with funeral arrangements for our late grandma. Catherine came out to visit it us on a bank holiday and instantly understood our wishes, suggested lots of options and made everything very clear and easy to understand.

We spoke with Catherine on numerous occasions over the phone, via email and visited in Handbridge and every time she made us feel at ease, offered help/advice and sometimes even took on the task herself to help us.

On the day of the funeral both Catherine and Shannon made sure everything went perfectly from having the cars and flowers looking amazing to adding little extra details that made it all feel more special and something grandma would have loved.

We can't thank Catherine and Shannon enough, they truly were a shining light during a dark and sad period, nothing was too much of an ask and they were professional, kind and understanding throughout and even are after the funeral.

We would just like to say a massive thank you to Shannon and Catherine of 'Harty's of Chester' Funeral Services' in Handbridge. They recently took care of our father Michael Deponeo's service and they were excellent from start to finish.
The professionalism and compassion shown were second to none. Nothing was too much trouble and they were available 24/7 for help and advice. This was definitely put the test as we had to change our plans on several occasions but you were never made to feel uncomfortable when contacting them.

Every aspect of their service was excellent. They obviously know their business well as everything was taken care of, even little things we hadn't thought of.
We would also like to thank the Celebrant Judith who performed a wonderful job on the day itself.
We cannot recommend 'Harty's of Chester' enough, they certainly did my dad and our family proud.

Hartys recently provided their services for the funeral of my late partner, probably one of the most difficult times I will ever have to go through and I can not be more grateful. From the moment we first called them they were there to guide us and provide support to me and all the family. Their sensitive approach and attention to small detail was extremely impressive and resulted in the best send off we could have given him. Unlike most funeral directors in the UK this company is qualified and licensed in their trade and this is reflected in the quality of the service they provide. I can not praise them highly enough and would strongly recommend them as the only company to use in Chester for these services having experienced other local companies for my parents a couple of years ago where we had a very different experience.

I recently attended a funeral conducted by the Harty ladies and it was perfect. They handled everything with such grace and care and made a very difficult time much easier. The cars were immaculate and every detail was considered. Would recommend to everyone.
